We stayed at Cardinal KOA twice on our trip to and from Quebec City. We only stayed one night on each occasion but found the campground to be very clean and well run. We didn't use any of the amenities however we found the sites to be spacious and well maintained. The pool and children's play area looked great and were in full use. We would stay again if our travels took us that way in the future.

Very unhelpful staff….cut our stay in half. One gentleman that arrived in front of us needed help to determine which lot he should be on and the staff totally ignored him. I had to help him. Later the same gentleman went to the front and mentioned that he had dog “crap” all over his lot and they gave him an empty box and a shovel to pick it up. Very poor service!!!!!!!

Check-in, sites, pool, mini putt were all excellent! Cons: the little carts were not in good shape at all, my kids could barely drive them, not worth the $4 each. Water pressure at the dumping station was abysmal, impossible to flush our black tank. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay, thanks so much!

I find the prices way too high for a lot facing the maintenance area ,without sewage connections and very poor wifi. I would not recommend unless you have no other choice.

Our one night stay was good however, when we arrived and I collected our reservation off the door, the barcode would not work for the gate, the message kept coming up, "expired, transaction declined" could not fund anyone at the office, tried calling the emergency numbers left on the back door. I finally walked down to the site and asked another camper if they could help us out. Then found someone

It was a wonderful stay with our 3 yr old grandson. The restrooms and grounds were wonderfully maintained. Everything was so much nicer than last year. The new owners have really stepped up to improve and fix and maintain. The pool liner was fixed and good to go. Staff was understanding and extremely helpful. Our 3 yr old loved the climber and pizza nights. Great stay!!!!!

Camp area was clean, staff was efficient and friendly! We love it there, thank you very much! We enjoyed the french fries, ice cream and pizza. Grandkids had so much fun! It is such a safe friendly environment for them also!

We had a great stay with our family, pool was clean, all amenities were great. Staff were friendly. Weekend activities were excellent. The only thing I could say is price point. I feel the campsite would be a little more occupied if the cost was down a little.

Lots of trees ... very nice ! , but they hold in the campfire smoke .. horrible ! Bathroom Ok , but for the money , just adequate ...small showers stalls ... Good for kids , but we don't have any :-)

We love the park. The trees with the amount of sap are a little challenging. The store needed to be more equipped at this time of year. I found the staff overall were polite but not welcoming. They didn’t go out of their way to say good morning or hello. I realize this park is under new management and still learning so will give them that. Upgrades desperately needed ie water slide/craft area.

Our kids(2&4) had a great time, lots of activities. Two suggestions: 1- there is no change table in the men’s washroom at the main building, this should be added. 2- The receipts have no detail on them, it would be nice to see a breakdown of the charges applied to the site over the course of the stay. We will be back next year!

Enjoyed our stay. Just a few things to improve on. The grass should have been cut. It was long when we arrived. The showers were small, ran out of hot water and the shower heads were not great making it hard to rinse off the soap. Would be nice to have sewer hook up instead of waiting for the pump truck.

So many amenities for children, great full shade campsites and helpful staff. Wifi doesn’t work AT ALL, don’t count on it and pump up staff need to be trained/shown how to operate properly. Other than that, would recommend.

Beautiful site. Very busy with young families. Office and pool inaccessible for anyone who cannot do stairs. No rail on the pool and very high steps to get into the office. Seems a lot of places in Ontario are not handicap accessible. Very surprising coming from Alberta where nearly everything is very accessible.

The park is very run down. The owner is new, so I gave it a second chance. Park is in need of lots of work. Nobody smiles, grass cutting is hit and miss, no gardens really, no sewer. Last yr free dump was at 3-4 days this yr one must stay 5 days. What if I’m not interested in being there over a weekend. Spoke with the owner but obliviously he didn’t care. Better KOA’s closeby

We enjoyed the campsite, the amenities, and all the activities. We are always amazed by the fireworks that are put on for Canada Day. The only complaint we have is that the internet is very poor.

This campground is not up to KOA standards. The sites are extremely narrow, as are the streets. It was very hard to maneuver a 30-foot travel trailer. I felt like we were all packed in like sardines. There are no sites with sewer hookups, and there is a $50 charge to have your sewer pumped if needed. There is only one dump station for the entire campground. Unacceptable. I will not be returning.

We had the best weekend. Second time here this year. Therr is so much to do, all the staff are fantastic, and the place is kept very clean!!! We will be back again.

Camper no rules some camper stay up until 3:30 am. very loud. Should had restrictions like other KOA 11:00. Other time we came was a great weekend but this one wasn’t. Ty

We just came back from staying at the Cardinal KOA for the Canada Day Weekend celebration and we had a blast as usual! The fireworks show was awesome and the kids loved the pool and the giant inflatable water slide!

The bathrooms were clean, but the campsites need upkeep. The picnic tables are in rough shape, as are leveling of sites and fire pit stones have all fallen apart! But upkeep of kids dome or parks are great!

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The campground is well maintained and is only 45 minutes South of Ottawa. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to any family.

This was our final stop before crossing into the US, after a long drive from Sturgeon Falls we were given a warm welcome and guided to our site. The facilities were functional and clean. The amenities were spot on. 10/10 would stay here again!
