This was an incredible getaway for me and my kids. The cabin was incredible and it was so nice to be able to let the kids do all the activities offered. We swam, played mini putt and we got to sit and relax while they rode the amazing bikes together. My gem obsessed son loved the panning station, and my teenage daughter loved the alone time in the air conditioned cabin. We will definitely be back.

My kids loved the activities, the pool and splash pad, and the go-karts. The breakfast on the holiday was disappointing, as my parents said the sausage was not properly cooked and that the food in general wasn't great. Aside from that they had a wonderful stay.

I think this is our fifth year staying at KOA Cardinal. Every year it gets better. We stay in a cabin and it's a little home away from home. With little ones it's perfect. Cardinal is very clean and welcoming. There are tons of activities on weekends to keep the kids occupied and lots of new friends to meet. The staff that run it are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and awesome with kids. Great job!

Very nice cabins rent them every year and will keep on coming back. I with that they would bring back the bill to site as much easier then carrying around money or having to use card transaction every time.

Rule about 1 car limit per camping site was not enforced during our stay. Camping was overcrowded and unsafe for children as visibility limited.

Our mini fridge wasn’t working day 1 and we didn’t realize until it was too late. It was fixed the next day but unfortunately our milk/yogurt and meat spoiled.

Took my 3 grandchildren for a fun weekend. We all had a wonderful and safe experience. Very kid oriented, with friendly staff and clean grounds.

Stayed in a cabin that actually had a full washroom. Cabin was well stocked with all dishware, pots and a microwave and coffee machine, including a little pack of coffee to start with. We enjoyed our state thoroughly. The amenities were great. Lots of activities for kids. The campsite was very clean. We will definitely be returning

Great time, lots to do for kids. Only minor downside would be lack of privacy between cabins and check in time being 4pm is unfortunate as we paid $450 for 2 nights, we lose more than half a day having to check in at 4pm and checkout 11am.

We go to KOA every summer and KOA Cardinal has never disappointed! Our kids look forward to going and never want to leave. The lodges are always clean, have everything we need, and there are many activities (jumping pillows, foam party, miniputt, and the pool is a hit for both kids & adults!). Cannot wait for next year already!!!

Excellent family campground with lots for kids to do! The cabin and the grounds were very clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others with children. No complaints whatsoever.

Friendly staff. Cabin was clean and all items bbq, ac etc worked. Loved how kid friendly the whole campsite was and all the kid things that were planned. We had enjoyed the mining too. My only feedback was the cover for the couch had a whole in it. We also used the couch cover for the pull out and another whole. For that price point that we pay for a cabin that needs to be fixed.

We will be back and will always recommend you, but a few comments that we've noticed on our last few stays -the pool is much too cold when it's advertised as heated -the water slide was extremely dirty, I know it deterred many people from using it -the activities are awesome but it would be great if they were set up and ready to go before the scheduled start time, not setting up at the start ti

I think KOA Cardinal and customers would benefit from more items for purchase in the "entrance shop". Such as pool noodles, more snacks, puzzles or small.games.

We stayed in a cabin, very happy with the amenities, the activities for kids, bathrooms always clean and smell nice! Slight disapointed with no more free coffee in the morning at the store, the splash pad was not working and the chip truck didnt open on Saturday with out notice, tried to order a pizza they stopped taking orders because they had too many orders. Everything else was good.

Although the weekend temperatures were not ideal, the kids had lots of fun in the park, around the sites with the activities organized by the staff. While it was yet and cold all weekend, we are happy to have a hot cabin thanks to the furnace. It really made the weekend more enjoyable. The linen in the cabin felt and smelt fresh upon our arrival and everything was very clean. Thanks

Unfortunately our fridge in the lodge wasn't working. They switched our fridge with one from another lodge but by then our food had been unrefrigerated for 25 hrs. We ended up leaving one day before the end of our booking since we had nothing to eat. They refunded me one night but still out of $62 worth of food.

During our recent stay this month May 2025 there was a HORRIFIC smell in the cabin. An animal must have died under the cabin. We told office staff multiple times, no move was offered, no checks. Our family has 2 autistic individuals who were severely affected, and still are, because EVERYTHING we brought HAD to be washed twice over to be rid of the stench. AND the women's showers had NO hot water

Two years in a row we have done Halloween weekend and we have had a lot of fun! The kids want to do it again next year. We may make this an annual tradition for years to come.

We stayed in one of the log cabins. They were clean and well kitted out with a mini fridge, microwave and Coffee machine. The activities for the Halloween themed weekend were fun and the kids had a great weekend.

Amazing, fun filled Halloween weekend, spent with my husband & kids! Staff were very helpful and nice- They went above and beyond with the haunted house & all other activities! We plan on coming back when pool/splash pad is open! Only downside is the price of firewood. $15 for 8-9 pieces is outrageous.

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The campground is well maintained and is only 45 minutes South of Ottawa. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to any family.

This was our final stop before crossing into the US, after a long drive from Sturgeon Falls we were given a warm welcome and guided to our site. The facilities were functional and clean. The amenities were spot on. 10/10 would stay here again!
