Premium.site was very small with no room to put up our gazebo. Our trailer now stinks of smoke as the fire pit was so close to the trailer.

I'm not much of a trip planner so when my coworker suggested KOA as a place to take my 4-year-old, I thought it sounded perfect. It didn't disappoint! I booked a cabin with a washroom and bathtub, which seemed like a key ingredient for camping with a young child. But after that, there really wasn't much else to prep. Everything I needed was on site! Super kid friendly and felt very safe and clean.

Great location. Well maintained sites and the staff that welcomed us were amazing. You could tell people we’re enjoying there stay.

Great place to stop with kids. So much for them to do. Planned activities everyday. Playground Wonderland. The 4 wheel bikes are really fun. They even have a Family Bike for 4 people. The cabins were clean and well thought out. Three of the four walls had a row of double hooks for hats, coats, bags etc. Friendly staff. Located midway between Ottawa & 1000 Islands.

The campground was so clean. I appreciated that there was no garbage around, and the washroom were cleaned throughout the day. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive. My daughter loved the bubble pit and the waterslide. The only thing I wished for was a warmer pool!!

Our site was at the rear of the property, while there were plenty of vacant spots closer to the club house and pool. The wifi was useless at our site even though there was a repeater in the next site. Mosquitoes were just awful, paid $15 for firewood and couldn’t even sit out bu the fire. It was wonderful, so much for the kids to do.. mosquitos and flies were bad but we trooped on through. The pool and bounce pad were a real hit. Something in door for rain days would be amazing. Thanks for a memorable experience. We will be back

Beau camping, bien situé entre Ottawa et les Miles Iles. Le personnel et sympathique et l'accueil est rapide. Par contre, il y avait beaucoup d'enfants en trottinettes électriques, qui allaient très vite, et passaient entre les terrains, même la noirceur venue. Les campeurs étaient très irrespectueux et passaient sur les terrains, presque sur notre tapis. Très déçue de ce détail.

Very nice campground and amenities. Serivce makes the difference and you certainlty did offer Service with a smile. We were a group of 30+ in 10 of the cabins and they were very comfortable and had all that we needed. Suggest to double up on mattresses for the Bunk beds to make them more comfortable; they are ok for little kids but not so much for adults.

The site is so clean and well kept. The activities for the kids are amazing. The cabin we stayed in was so lovely and everything we needed. We did find though that the communication could be improved. We asked about laundry and were told $2 per load for both washer and dryer but the machines said $3, and they actually took $2.50. Also, cabins were hoarding and hiding dino bikes without paying.

The activities for kids were well- organized and they kept the kids busy and entertained throughout the day . The staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable.the campsite was clean and well maintained . Looking forward to our next adventure with You !

A first time family cabin camping experience. CARDINAL South was very clean, lots of activities, and excellent property maintenance. Unfortunately their property gets very swampy with any rain, but is beyond their control. We had a great stay!

Wifi inexistant dans les cabines au fond du camping. Wifi Cardinal 2. Jamais fonctionné en 4 jours. Il faudrait investir car beaucoup de terrains sont inondés. Certains ne pourraient même pas être loués. Dommage. Camping et cabines très propres. Belles activités pour les enfants.

All good. Would have liked AC/heating instructions. Bunk beds mattresses were VERY thin, and a small reading light at each bunk would be great. Bedding was good. Nice and clean. No dishwasher and write up said there was. Needed more than one dish towel and cloth. Where do you put the clean washed dishes. A couple more medium sized bowls would be helpful. Enjoyed the cabin and was comfortable.

Such a beautiful location and there was so much for the kids to do! Sites felt spacious and not crammed together and all the staff were so friendly! Definitely somewhere I highly recommend and will visit again some day!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend, Cardinal KOA is always a highlight of our summer and we loved dino weekend! The activities, amenities and staff were great. First time in a camping cabin, which worked out perfectly for us. One suggestion I have is to add hooks on the porch to hang towels/bathing suits, etc. Thanks again, we will be back next year!

Hello, we stayed at KOA Cardinal in Ontario Canada 13-15 August. We stayed in a Deluxe cabin. The temperature during our stay was very hot and the air conditioner didn't work. My family of 5 didn't sleep the entire first night. We were so exhausted and it completely ruined our experience. We reported the next day and maintenance came and worked on it to get it running but it didn't cool the cabin

So many fun activities for kids. Pool was a bit too chilly this year. Dog park needs Reno’s. The gates didn’t latch� extra staff for chip wagon would be great. Waited 25 mins for fries

Beautiful treed area. Not crowded. Dog park has equipment that needs repair to be safer. Internet doesn’t work at all. Expensive for site with 30 amp and no sewer.

We had a great camp site. Everything was close and the kids activities were well run. A bit disappointed there were no activities or food service on Sunday. We were lucky to have packed enough food to make something work but had planned to buy brunch. Ended up leaving a bit earlier than planned due to lack of activities.

-The property needs drainage- it was a giant puddle. -The pool feels like ice and need more heat -The mattress in my Cabin has seen better day -The bathroom countertops are particle board that are constantly exposed to water and it look disgusting -Rugs in cabin- dirty I liked the food trucks

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the KOA, the helpful owners when our cabin heater did not work, and the variety of well-organised activities for our 8 year old grandson. The cabin was small but comfortable with a/c, heat and shower. Prices for activities and supplies from the store were reasonable. A good time was had by all!

We have been 4 years in a row. This year they had to fix the pool. Instead of getting a load of water they spent all day with a garden hose. The pool was freezing and they didn't keep the heater full of wood to heat the pool.

When we arrived there was no water in the pool due to a leak. We came so the grandkids could use the pool but once the pool was fixed the water was too cold to swim in. Consequently we spent one day in Brockville and another fishing in Cardinal. An email explaining that the pool was not available and allowing us to cancel our stay or rovidinga reduction in the rate would have been appreciated.

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The campground is well maintained and is only 45 minutes South of Ottawa. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to any family.

This was our final stop before crossing into the US, after a long drive from Sturgeon Falls we were given a warm welcome and guided to our site. The facilities were functional and clean. The amenities were spot on. 10/10 would stay here again!
