I am always impressed by the meticulous care for the grounds, timeliness of planned activities and overall availability of the staff. This place is incredibly well managed and that makes it such a fun place to come! See you next weekend!!

We were in a pull through site but we had to unhook our tow vehicle because of trees too close to make the turn out. There were also vehicles parked very close to corners. Thankfully my husband is an experienced driver of large vehicles, but even he found it very frustrating. Also there were small children on electric bikes going at very high speeds. If a child had got in the way it would be bad

We had the best time in the entire world! Everything was clean and well organized. The amenities were always open. The cabin had everything we needed! My only complaint was that the camp store needs more food/ drinks. We came without a car and it would have been nice to do a small grocery restock at the camp store. Other than that it was fabulous! Thank you for the wonderful time

Our stay was very nice. We checked out the cabin you have from outside. Pool was nice people were very friendly. Like that there is lots to do. Staff was awesome. See yous again July 1st. ��

We loved the mature trees in the campground. Trailer we stayed in was clean, fresh and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept. The desk staff were helpful and friendly. We will stay here again!

It is always the best time here, staff is so friendly. It is so family oriented, always fun events happening for them. It is our Favorite KOA from all the ones we have been to.

We visited last year and provided feedback regarding our stay. We thought to try again this year with the hope we would find improvement. We enjoyed our cabin but were disappointed to see the wifi is still non-existent despite being advertised, and that there was little to no hot water for a decent shower. Staff remain super friendly - which makes the stay worthwhile!

I had enough WARM water to wash my face before the shower turned cold so the rest of my shower was COLD water. Tried to complain but no one was in the office when we left in the morning even though they were supposed to be open. Bathroom was dated. You can do better than staying here.

We had such a great time! The only downside was that the sites aren’t full hookup (no sewer), and the washrooms are a bit limited—but they were super clean, which definitely made up for it. Also, the staff on site were super friendly, which made the whole experience even better �

We had an incredible stay. One small suggestion is to be a bit careful with the amount of cleaning product or at least air out the cabin before the next renter. The smell of chemical cleaning product was extremely strong in our cabin and took the afternoon to air it out a bit. We also had a lot of black ants. I know it's the time of year, but it was annoying.

Our stay was very nice, the cabin we had was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The staff was awesome & very accommodating. The only concerns I had was the internet was not good, I was unable to connect to it & I was surprised that the TV was only a DVD player. Other than that our stay was relaxing.

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season.

very helpful for our stay. we are 65' towing total and they found a site for us, they don't really show sites long enough. clean, well groomed grounds. owners and staff always busy doing grounds keeping.. thanks!!!!

This property wasn’t a good fit for us but I would absolutely recommend it to families with young children. Not a good fit for a childless couple who wanted a more outdoorsy experience. The cabins were very close together and facing one another. Too crowded for us.

We faithfully camp year after year regardless of the owners. We camp because it’s close by and there are so many fun activities for the kids. Feedback; Mow the lawn for the weekend guests. The mosquitos were horrible around the play structure and sites. I’d improve the ice cream line up. 37 minutes in line was awful.

Great campground but wish I could have selected my own lot. Being allowed to select a range of lots is definitely not my preference. Through all my years of camping, this is the first time I experience this. The lot that was assigned to me was not bad, but if I had had a choice, I would have picked another one. The rest was great.

We love Cardinal KOA but were very disappointed with our stay this time and left a night early as our entire campsite was flooded, the ground was muck and we couldn't have a fire or even put out chairs because the ground was so wet and muddy and basically had a lake behind our camper. Almost the entire A road was flooded, there is a definite drainage issue.

We spent a wonderful long weekend camping with our grandchildren. There is so much to do at this campground and the kids were always busy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only small complaint is that the grass was not cut and being in a high tick area was a concern.

We liked our stay but found activities were not organized well, chaotic and not very exciting compared to others we've stayed at. Grass wasn't cut anywhere looked very dumpy. We liked the VR option, pool and splash pad was nice.

The cottage was great. Very clean and everything in order. Staff friendly, waving etc. The water temperature in the public showers was inconsistent. First day good, second day the water stayed ice cold, the 3rd day good and the next day ice cold.

We were happy with our stay and had an enjoyable experience overall. Pros: * The cabin was clean and well-maintained. * The heating and air conditioning worked very well. * The cabin was well-equipped * The recreational facilities and activities organized for children were fantastic and very engaging. * The staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Cons: * The cabin was advertised as accommodating 6 people, with a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a pull-out couch. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the couch was unusable for sleeping due to a severe dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable and likely to cause back pain. In reality, the cabin only had 4 comfortable sleeping spaces, not 6. * The propane BBQ had a very weak flame, which made it difficult to cook our food properly. * There was a sewage-like smell inside the cabin throughout the night. * There was also an unpleasant sewage smell in the campground, apparently due to the RV dumping station being located nearby. * At 3 PM on Sunday, I was told bike rentals had ended for the season. Two hours later, my upset 8-year-old saw other kids renting bikes. The staff explained they had resumed rentals due to high demand and kindly offered us a free ride, which I appreciated. However, the inconsistent information left us both disappointed. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Nice campground. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump station. Place was pretty empty when we came so was a little disappointed they put us in a pull through site that was very hard to turn into and no room for our truck. So many sites would of accomodated us better

If you have kids and they love interacting with other kids come here. Kids all over having fun. Lots of things for them to do. Splash pad and large play structure was the highlight. Although better parental supervision is required. Park was clean and staff pleasant. Some sites were very narrow however our patio site was probably the best for space. Lots of nice large trees. Park is close to Ottawa and the 401. $15 for firewood is reasonable. Only 4 stars as no sewer available (strange for KOA). Better dumping setup and control by staff during check-out is required. Road to exit was completely blocked. Even if you didn't need to dump you were forced to wait. Kids want to return so I guess we are!
