Spent 8 days, what a blast. Very friendly and clean. The owners are very nice and keep a tidy Kampground. The pool was clean and tons of fun.

Perfect for a family. Lots of kids activities and water sports. However, if you're looking for peace and quiet don't come on a holiday weekend like we did. Not a complaint, just an observation. Nice staff and very accommodating. Pretty area.

Stayed 4 nights 5 days with grandchildren, lots to do for kids which is why we stayed. Weet kept and clean park, quiet at night , could hear other kids playing in the campground which is great, thats what its all about !!!! Well done KOA Cardinal staff

Tuesday there were no activities as scheduled, went to the office and asked and were told they were in the back field but nothing was set up. Suggestion to add a handrail in the pool for mobility issues, it’s a big step out and nothing to hold onto. Also it’s a big step into the office for mobility, an extra little step would be helpful on the step at the door. Overall my grandson loves

Easy check in, friendly staff , a ton of amenities and activities for the kids. Extremely clean and well managed property! We will definitely be returning!

Pleasant campground site-wise. Store greatly understocked. Swimming pool very nice BUT no railing on either set of stairs for ease of entry. We are in our mid-seventys and had to bring a chair along side to help steady us. Bathrooms although clean and maintained regularly, really need an upgrade.

We where only overnight but they placed us among seasonal campers and in the playground area. The noise level from the 15 kids was not pleasant and there where 4-5 battery operated child cars with the plastic wheels on the gravel doing loops around the area. We were not happy.

Friendly Staff, Plenty of things to do for the kids. Loved how well kept the Mini-Putt, Pool and Splash pad are. VERY CLEAN (Employees seem to always be picking up around the area) Suggestions 2x shower heads in the men's bathroom need a deep clean or replacing since very little water comes out. I would get rid of the slipNSlide, barely used and the stagnant water can become a mosquito issue

Although it was a rainy weekend at the end of the season, the grandchildren still had a wonderful time. I found the pool too cold and my grandson couldn't stay in but my granddaughter had a great time in the water. The kids preferred the slip and slide to the old very tall slide but the location is very boggy and buggy for adults who are watching and there's no place to sit out of the sun.

This was my first camping experience in over 25 years and I took my two young kids. We rented a cabin and it was so clean and well equipped. The activities were lots of fun and staff was always amazing.

This KOA is like a Carnival cruise for kids. This is just not what we are looking for in a campground. We prefer wooded/quiet campgrounds. The dog park was a challenge also. One entire section was a swampy mosquito pit.We only stayed here 45 minutes…and that was too long.

Wonderful as always! My only suggestion is some of the children running around on their own were quite mean to younger children. Maybe more enforcement of children under 12 being supervised?

Return visitor. Visited because it is a holiday campground. Visited with two 12-year old girls. They enjoyed the pool, although it was a littler cooler that in past years. Washrooms clean. Kids activities are good. The grounds were very wet, with standing pools in some areas, but it has been a wet summer and the soil is clay rich. Friendly staff.

Love this campground. Perfect for our two 7 year olds. Lots to keep them entertained. We stayed at a lodge and it did not disappoint. Had a sticky door which they came to fix within 5 minutes of us letting them know. We’ll be back next year!

Our first time staying at Cardinal KOA and we were overly impressed! Our kids didnt want to leave! The grounds were beautifully kept and always something for our children to do! We'll definitely be coming back time and time again

Too noisy, people cutting through sites, rats were all over the place, the people at the site next to us parked inches away from our fire ring and refused to move their vehicle (until I started a campfire). Overall, it was not a good experience and we will not be coming back.

Great stay as always, great activities for the kids all day. Only suggestion would be starting the movie night a little earlier outside for the younger ones to be able to partake! 930 was late and only a few kids showed up.

I love the simplicity of the cabins, the activities available, the friendliness of staff. In this case, prior campers didn’t clean their dishes (snuck it in the stack of clean things so staff wouldn’t have noticed). There weren’t enough dishes for our group. It’s minor…. Great campground over all

New owners about 5 years ago, have not maintained or replaced equipment. The fun water slide has been replaced by a VR experience for $. The kids games and activities have been reduced; the staff not trained for kids. There does not appear to a staff supervisor. It is very kids oriented. My daughter came and spent a day with her little girls. My granddaughters had a blast on the play structures, the foam party, the cycles, swimming and we even had a game of mini putt. They had a full day of fun!

We stayed 5 nights the kids had a blast! Staff were friendly and kind. Campground was clean and lots of stuff going on! My only suggestion is the pool is supposed to be heated and it was still quite cold! Luckily we had some warmer afternoons so the kids could get in!

Après avoir séjourné dans 3 koa. Mes 4 filles, mes 2 chiens et moi même vous ont évalué le meilleur koa de nos vacances. Beaucoup d'activités, même en temps de pluie. Sanitaire, buanderie propre. Bel accueil. Très paisible et le fun.faites quelque-chose pour les trous d'eau svp ;-)

We have been coming as a family for years. This year we found things to not be up to the same standards. Less attention to details. Lack of organization. We waited 25 mins for a scheduled activity. They had forgotten. My cabin bbq utensils were left on the porch and looked dirty. We loved having the option of the pizza and chip truck. Chip truck no longer available. It was our fave. It was a little further from the city than we realized, great place for kids, lots to do. Not sure why with all the empty spots they put us in one of the muddiest ones right by the playground while we reserved as 2 adults.

We love bringing our family up the KOA, Cardinal. Our only complaint is the Saturday night movie time. It is: 1- way too late for our kids to stay up for 2- way too loud for the families in close proximity who are trying to sleep/settle children to sleep It seems like a 7:30/8pm start to the movie is a much more family-friendly time to have an outdoor movie. Only an overnight stay, what a great campground for kids. Lots of activities to keep them occupied. Washrooms are older but kept spotless. Will definitely return in the future with grandkids in tow.

We were happy with our stay and had an enjoyable experience overall. Pros: * The cabin was clean and well-maintained. * The heating and air conditioning worked very well. * The cabin was well-equipped * The recreational facilities and activities organized for children were fantastic and very engaging. * The staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Cons: * The cabin was advertised as accommodating 6 people, with a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a pull-out couch. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the couch was unusable for sleeping due to a severe dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable and likely to cause back pain. In reality, the cabin only had 4 comfortable sleeping spaces, not 6. * The propane BBQ had a very weak flame, which made it difficult to cook our food properly. * There was a sewage-like smell inside the cabin throughout the night. * There was also an unpleasant sewage smell in the campground, apparently due to the RV dumping station being located nearby. * At 3 PM on Sunday, I was told bike rentals had ended for the season. Two hours later, my upset 8-year-old saw other kids renting bikes. The staff explained they had resumed rentals due to high demand and kindly offered us a free ride, which I appreciated. However, the inconsistent information left us both disappointed. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Nice campground. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump station. Place was pretty empty when we came so was a little disappointed they put us in a pull through site that was very hard to turn into and no room for our truck. So many sites would of accomodated us better

If you have kids and they love interacting with other kids come here. Kids all over having fun. Lots of things for them to do. Splash pad and large play structure was the highlight. Although better parental supervision is required. Park was clean and staff pleasant. Some sites were very narrow however our patio site was probably the best for space. Lots of nice large trees. Park is close to Ottawa and the 401. $15 for firewood is reasonable. Only 4 stars as no sewer available (strange for KOA). Better dumping setup and control by staff during check-out is required. Road to exit was completely blocked. Even if you didn't need to dump you were forced to wait. Kids want to return so I guess we are!
