The camp ground has many facilities that will make small kids happy. I would say it's a fun heaven for kids under 10. My kids are a bit older so they got bored after one day but I would strongly recommend this place to families with younger kids.

We enjoyed ourselves so much on our first camping trip as a family with kids (aged 1 and 3). The tent site with power and water made accommodating the children so much easier and the sand pad was so nice to have under the tent. We only wish you had more tent sites, or would allow tents on some of the RV sites, to make it easier for us to come again!

We had a wonderful time camping with our grandson. We rented the deluxe cabin it was beautifully laid out, very clean and organized and it had everything we needed supplied, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the pool but we played all day on the playground equipment with our family, the big bouncer was a favourite. I’m sure we will be back again!

Our stay was great... the cabin was a bit untidy when we arrived, but a little sweep, did the job. When we arrived, our host, Asher - was amazing. She was extremely helpful with explaining how things worked, as well as the upcoming events for the weekend. She answered all our questions and went above and beyond to explain how things worked..... we even had a great time playing Mini Golf.

The pool was freezing cold and you have to pay extra for mini putt which other koas you don’t. Seems like everything was an extra charge. It was a nice place but wish they had a beach and a bit bigger campsites.

We enjoy this campsite and visit every year, sometimes twice a year! I would recommend especially with kids. Lot’s of activities for them to do.

Great weekend. We stayed in a lodge. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working the first night but we let them know the next morning and someone came out to fix it right away. Great amenities for our young kids. Splash pad wasn’t working, but climber, pool and jumping pillow kept the kids busy for hours.

A small camp that is quiet and has everything you need. The place is clean and well kept. Lots are a bit small and there is little shrub work to provide privacy. As first timers we had a bit of trouble setting up camp but Tan and Shane had us up and running in no time. Very accommodating and professional. Wifi is a bit sketchy on weekends however you could feasibly work from here otherwise

Out site was so mosquitoe infested we ran from rv to truck. My husband got do,was of bites hooking up. Bathrooms clean but not enough showers for size of campground, luckily it was midweek and not full. Dryers were difficult to use.

We stayed at koa for convenience of a family gathering in cardinal and realized quickly that it was a wonderful campground with lots of activities for my son.and pleasantly surprised to see the pool was open,we will definitely be reserving again this summer.

Spur of the moment trip and it did not disappoint! Lots of great activities for our kids! We stayed in one of the lodges and were shocked by how many things were offered. It was extremely clean and well kept! We will definitely be back

This was a campground we loved and stayed 3 or 4 times a year but it is still going down in service, and upkeep. We now have to pump out our own rigs! They used to do this for us on exit. The grass was clearly not done properly with clumps of high grass here and there. Also in the dog area - it was not done at all!! Clearly this is not a proper KOA and you should not expect KOA standards here.

I had a wonderful time with my loved ones creating precious memories. There were plenty of activities to enjoy with the kids, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it as an excellent place to stay.

Stayed in one of the cabins. Given that the price (225$ per night + taxes) is extremely high (equivalent to the price you'd pay for a very good hotel room in downtown Montreal, Québec or even Toronto), I find it hard to hard to understand why a shower is not included in the amenities provided.

We have been to a few KOA's. This is by far our favourite. Staff is always so kind and helpful. So much to do with the kids and tent sites are great! We love it �

Stayed on opening weekend. Enjoyed the deluxe transit site with fire pit and nice patio furniture. Played a game of miniature golf and our dog Moka loved the dog park although it could have been better if the grass was mowed. Very nice campground if you have kids.

Heureusement que les anciens propriétaires sont venus faire l’Halloween sinon il y aurait pas eu les belles activités pour l’Halloween. Malheureusement je n’ai pas réservé mon lot pour l’an prochain car le prix est beaucoup trop élevé c’est presque 100$ par nuit c’est beaucoup trop dispendieux

This was our first stay under the new ownership. All of the amenities remain the same though there seemed to be a bit of confusion and delay sometimes with orders, (wood for example, waited almost an hour for delivery and had to go ask again for it). The main staff though, Tan and his brother, are extremely friendly and polite and quick to aid with any inquires or concerns. It'll get better.

Been going there for this weekend for 4 years now. Was disappointed to see that the haunted house was not there. The pumpkins were much smaller than precious years and the staff did not seemed knowledgeable at all in fact they looked lost and couldn't help with simple questions and had to run to the owner to ask. Frankly disappointed this year uncertain if my group and I will be returning next

Stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. Stay was ok. Have to say the old owners are missed. Cold weather put a damper on this year too. This has been an annual tradition for our family. Not sure about next year. We enjoy the Halloween events (there was no haunted house or bingo), although we aren't clear on whether they will continue next year. Things seemed relatively clean, which is good.

Lovely weekend in one of the lodges. Some things need to be repaired and we informed the owner. Not as many activities as in previous years but it is new owners and they need to settle in and develop their own routine. All in all a good weekend.

There were some ups and downs with service this year. New owners , I understand, but some items weren’t being addressed in a reasonable time. Overall still a good campground and highly recommended for families with young children

We've been going for the Thanksgiving weekend for 4 years in a row. We appreciate the Halloween theme and the activities. We enjoyed the 2022 edition even if there was less emphasis put on the haunted house activity. Cardinal/Ottawa South is conveniently located and a well-managed/maintained property.

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The campground is well maintained and is only 45 minutes South of Ottawa. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to any family.

This was our final stop before crossing into the US, after a long drive from Sturgeon Falls we were given a warm welcome and guided to our site. The facilities were functional and clean. The amenities were spot on. 10/10 would stay here again!
