Very welcoming. Very clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool, all play structures and activities. The pizza was excellent. Everything available on site, from propane tank, dryer & washer, food, lodging of all kinds. I highly recommend it if you have kids from newborn to 13 years old. Family oriented camping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for an excellent summer vacation!

En regardant les commentaires en anglais, je n'étais pas certaine de cet endroit. Nous avons été agréablement surpris. Le commerce est géré par une entreprise familiale d'origine chinoise qui s'active pour procurer aux clients un séjour agréable. Les toilettes et douches sont propres , malgré le veil âge des équipements. La piscine et le bouncing pillow amusent inlassablement les enfant

Very sad to see in 2024 that the site is not accessible to wheelchair users. Front desk, store, washroom, showers not accessible. No ramps. I am not sure if that is legal.

Very clean and comfortable lodge, fun activities, and loved how all the KOA guests were friendly and respectful of the rules. Perfect for families.

We had a great time tenting at the Cardinal KOA! The sites are large and beautiful, there were lots of activities to keep the kids busy, and the facilities were clean and well kept.

My child was severely bullied by a group of 10 to 14-year-old boys as an entire hockey team was staying the same weekend as us. We expressed our concerns to management who tried their best to deal with the family, but nothing was done. I understand that they could not remove them because they were drunk, but I thought that KOA stood on zero tolerance for bullying. It was truly disgusting.

We enjoyed all the planned activities for the children. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be returning.

We paid extra for a site with a patio. A lot of the patio stones we broken into sharp pieces. Those broke patio stone were also very wobbly cause many stumbles from me and my family. I also hung a hammock and was promptly told to take it done, stating that it causes damage to the trees. I was using tree friendly straps that are made specifically to protect trees, but the employee didn’t care.

Great stay! The campground was clean and there were a lot of things to do. Activities are affordable. Washrooms could use an update, including mirrors at adult height, but otherwise a fantastic experience!

Poor management and control of the park. Kids in charge to manage situations. Just pathetic. Constantly disappointing.

Very unpleasant stay, the staff was not welcoming and acted unprofessionally, they seem to have been policing the children visiting in an aggressive manner- Seasonal campers were not welcoming to visitors of the campground - Weird activity in the evening hours including a biker gang and then the activity of police. This is clearly not a family-friendly campground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are rules in place to keep EVERYONE on the campground safe and happy. There was no biker gang, they were simply a group of motorcyclists visiting a family. The police were called to assist in enforcing rules to intoxicated campers at night. We pride ourselves on having kind staff.

Deluxe cabins were great and clean upon arrival. Only thing that was missing was shampoo/soap for the shower/tub. Tons of activities for the kids.

We had a fantastic time! The cabins are wonderful and it was a great place to spend time with a group of friends and their families. The kids are always so happy to be here! One suggestion is that the pool could use a little refreshing. We will be back!

The campground is perfect for families with kids under 12. Lots of fun activities to keep them entertained. The only downsides is the road in close proximity, noisy at times and the 1 dumping station next to the pool. Strong stench of urine if wind changes direction, very bad design.

Customer service speak only english, no french speaking in CANADA. Also in the activity hayride, the driver ´´refuse » to get another ride cause there wasant too much interets. Me and my kids we ve been waiting 30 min for our tour and cause we were 3 people left he didnt want to do it

The place is kept very clean, the staff are very friendly. The pool is kept clean and heated, a great place to stay. The only thing that could be better is if there was sewage. For the price.

This place is amazing. The pool is warm and the entire park is clean. The bathrooms and showers are always in top shape and the store has everything you need. The pizza is yummy.

Great stay. So many activities for the kids. Most notably, it is CLEAN. So so clean. Someone must go around and sweep away cob webs from the chairs, benches, play structures, etc. Amazing!

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The park was so fun with so many activities and things for kids to do. The site was perfect for our trailer and clean. Our little one even slept in from being so busy with activities and swimming! We will be back for sure!

It was a very nice park. Unfortunately we had a site across the road from us that had 5 DOGS! Needless to say there was a lot of barking. I know this isn’t the parks fault, but it was very annoying with the constant barking whenever anyone would pass by.

Absolutely loved our stay! The kids activities were the perfect way to break up our day and so fun! The pool and splash pad area were always clean and tidy. Our cabin was great and well stocked with linens. Would definitely stay again. The staff were all super helpful, and very friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

A very good campground, lots of activities for children and adults. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Highway and road signage needs to be updated and more visible. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a nice site. Campground was neat, clean and well kept.Check in and out was easy, with a friendly attitude. But the campground store had very few essentials for camping. No black tank chemicals ( at a campground that has no sewage hook up). No milk or eggs.I expected more in a KOA campground.

We were happy with our stay and had an enjoyable experience overall. Pros: * The cabin was clean and well-maintained. * The heating and air conditioning worked very well. * The cabin was well-equipped * The recreational facilities and activities organized for children were fantastic and very engaging. * The staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Cons: * The cabin was advertised as accommodating 6 people, with a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a pull-out couch. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the couch was unusable for sleeping due to a severe dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable and likely to cause back pain. In reality, the cabin only had 4 comfortable sleeping spaces, not 6. * The propane BBQ had a very weak flame, which made it difficult to cook our food properly. * There was a sewage-like smell inside the cabin throughout the night. * There was also an unpleasant sewage smell in the campground, apparently due to the RV dumping station being located nearby. * At 3 PM on Sunday, I was told bike rentals had ended for the season. Two hours later, my upset 8-year-old saw other kids renting bikes. The staff explained they had resumed rentals due to high demand and kindly offered us a free ride, which I appreciated. However, the inconsistent information left us both disappointed. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Nice campground. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump station. Place was pretty empty when we came so was a little disappointed they put us in a pull through site that was very hard to turn into and no room for our truck. So many sites would of accomodated us better

If you have kids and they love interacting with other kids come here. Kids all over having fun. Lots of things for them to do. Splash pad and large play structure was the highlight. Although better parental supervision is required. Park was clean and staff pleasant. Some sites were very narrow however our patio site was probably the best for space. Lots of nice large trees. Park is close to Ottawa and the 401. $15 for firewood is reasonable. Only 4 stars as no sewer available (strange for KOA). Better dumping setup and control by staff during check-out is required. Road to exit was completely blocked. Even if you didn't need to dump you were forced to wait. Kids want to return so I guess we are!
