Sites are close and the campground needs some tlc. I understand it’s expensive because it is in a resort area, but at that price, the grounds could be much improved.

It was stormy before we could reach the campground, conditions no one could avoid. The campsite was quite wet, swampy. The WiFi was my biggest complaint, I could not watch television on a smart tv. The campground and its staff were very welcoming, the bathhouse was clean when I visited and the laundry area. The dog park was amazing. my dogs are used to burning energy, so that was a blessing.

Our spot was very nice and the sounds of the crashing waves throughout the night were very relaxing. Overall the campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I am sure we will be back in the Spring.

Our stay this time was not a good experience. The bath house was dirty and full of sand. Our neighbors were the worst. They were all over on our campsite with their dog fence to the point we could barely get to dump our tanks. The Two dogs always barking when they were out and their site smelled like dog poop. So we couldn't open our windows. They never sat by their fire. Lit and left to smoke.

We enjoyed our stay at KOA. I would like to see more paved or concrete pads to choose from. Our site was very muddy, although we know there was flooding day prior.

This is our favorite KOA! The pool is so nice, the deck chairs are super nice quality, everything is clean including bathhouses. Location is perfect. Love the proximity to the beach. The staff are all sooo nice. Our site on the grass was so great. Everything was awesome. Fun weekend! Thanks!

The staff was super friendly, and the site was clean, and the services worked well. Wi-Fi was weak and almost unusable but not a big deal as the cell signal in the area has improved greatly. The remodeled bathrooms are a vast improvement. Be wary of the fire ants, they are everywhere. Very happy with our stay, we'll stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Bath house was always clean. garbage was gathered regularly through out day. dog owners were not always cleaning up after their pets.

Had a bump in the road with Mother Nature during our stay, but she didn't stop anyone from having a great time. Upgraded restrooms look really nice. Staff is always friendly and helpful. One selfish wish - Wi-Fi needs a boost . . . too many folks sharing creates such a big lag. Can't wait to come back next year - it'll be our 10th year coming back for vacation.

While we enjoy this KOA, we were in spot 212 - which was super cramped, with our neighbors slide outs extending into our space and over our fire pit. To be honest, I couldn't wait to leave. If we come again, I will be more mindful about which spot we rent.

Our stay was great but we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathhouse. It did not appear to be cleaned each day as there was a razer cap in one room and it was still there the next day. The Tiki Hut was disappointing as well. Menu offered frozen drinks but there was no blender. The Bahama Mama drink was a frozen drink purchased from a grocery store.

Too crowed/congested. Bathrooms had cobwebs and lots of bugs. Restaurants closed. No one answers the front desk phone. Beach access could be improved. Disappointed for a quote ‘Resort Campground’.

We did enjoy our stay. We know that we came right after Erin was there, but we were disappointed that the handicap access had not been replaced. The sand was never cleaned off of the steps with over half of them covered. The place to wash off had several inches of sand so there was no need to wash excess sand off. The rest of the campground was very nice.

Didn’t really like the disco train riding around blasting music after dark. Prices were ridiculous high for the space we had at 160.00 per night. They also didn’t tell us that the space we had reserved with a deposit was changed because we didn’t pay and additional $50. No trees or shade of any kind. This KOA is the most overpriced one i have ever been too

wet, rainy, had golf carts noisy going thru one night. staff was friendly for the most part. wanted to stay another night at our site . was told no problem then went to get it and was told cant do it. staff needs to get it together and dont tell someone something then tell them NO.I DONT LIKE TO BE LIED TO.

Everything was top notch and would highly recommend this facility. There was one exception. Days after the latest storm one access to the beach was closed due to damage and the other had not been cleared of sand from the storm making it very difficult for my wife, who had recent knee surgery, to access the beach.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, timely trash pickup, site was about average, walk to beach was easy, nice hot tub! Enjoyed Jason and music bingo!

Really impressed with the improvements to the facilities -- bathhouses, beach showers, etc.!! ... The staff was wonderful, as always! While the weather is what it is (we had a few days of heavy wind and some rain), the people, activities and location still made our trip enjoyable!

Weather was not great, but KOA staff was awesome. The people that ride around the campground in the golf carts doing various jobs are super friendly and helpful. We participated in some of the evening activities at the Tiki Bar/Pool and had a great time.

Love the location. Been coming here for MANY years. Have seen lots of changes, mostly good. Internet, however, is very unreliable. IP configuration error, constant disconnect, slow speeds (even just for email). Have to call tech support out of state. Never knew if someone arrived on site to repair. Out of 11 day stay, Internet was solid for 4 of them.

Great campground, close to the beach. Very clean and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Love the idea of having your own bathroom/shower/sink area all in one private room, but could use a little refresher. Also, no cubbies or shelf in the shower to put your soap or shampoo. We would definitely go back though, had a great time.

Great campground! We will definitely be back again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Valda was great and had that southern hospitality! Donnie was very helpful in getting us to our site.

The campground has a variety of arrangements including small cabins, dog areas, covered picnic areas on individual camp spot. It has a pool, hot tub volleyball sand area all that I didn't use. There is a small store where you check in. They also cook on site. They have activities during the day: bingo, train rides for kids, karaoke etc. The campground doesn't back up to the beach; its more like a narrow shoreline. The current access to this is a series of narrow multiple level steps. How would anyone be able to carry cooler, chair, towels etc down to just gaze at the water seems unsafe. I didn't see anyone do that. Instead I had to travel to visited another beach. People friendly. Bathrooms were alright. They also have washer/dryers (didn't use). The parking areas are mostly gravel. It has rain before I got there and some places had pools of water. It was nice to hear the ocean sounds at night when it got dark and quite. There was a nice breeze during my entire trip.

All in all a great campground for a beach vacation. No boardwalks, high rise hotels, tourist areas, malls or tee shirt shops every 1/2 mile, just beach, ocean inlets, a few restaurants and surf shops. . Some things to keep in mind when planning your camping trip. Do not get an RV site on the main roads. Foot traffic, kids on bikes and other toys, dog walkers and folks going back and forth to the beach. You won't have any privacy or peace and quiet. The paw pens are not secure and won't contain a big aggressive dog. There is definitely a roach problem. I witnessed an infestation around the outside sink on the bath house near our RV site and was in the office when 2 people were complaining to the staff about the problem in their deluxe cabins. Did not affect us in our RV. Also, some office staff can be very condescending and rude (witness that also). Ask to speak to management if you have a problem. There are some staff trailers on the perimeter and a small area of long term residents that could use some sprucing up. The front section could definitely use some covered trash cans as the birds can get very aggressive before trash is picked up! Easy access to ocean and inlet for spectacular sunsets and sunrises, great dog parks and lots of kids activities during the season. Knowing what I know now, will return.
