Clean and friendly, from the pool to the bathrooms. Staff is very helpful. I loved the trash pick up and wood delivery. Great beach access! Also loved the dog park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Overall stay at Outer Banks was great. Plenty to see and do. The WiFi was not good at all and no pressure at the showers. But still had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay, loved the location to the beach and the sound. Restrooms were clean. Thank you for the doggie bag stations throughout the campground.we will be back.

This place had everything we needed. Didn't have to leave the whole weekend. Very clear bathrooms. Short walk to the beach. I could go on and on. We will be back.

I have been to many KOA, but this one is very poorly taken care of. The walkway to the beach is collapsing, the rest rooms, although clean, are in disrepair with rusting bolts and stall doors that don't close. The grass is not mowed and the dog park is disgusting. I would not ever stay here again.

Beautiful campground in a beautiful beach area. Some suggestions: The paw pens need some serious work and should be moved to sites with sewer. Some of the staff trailers along the perimeter could use some sprucing up and some large trash cans around the front to keep the birds from getting so aggressive before the trash is picked up. Peeked in the bathhouses, didn't use, but they looked clean.

Very "shady" permanent campers, no internet, cable also only part time worked. We expected much more from a KOA.

We enjoyed our stay but the sites need some work. They are asphalt that is now starting to crumble and it’s causing a hazard when walking or trying to set up the campsite.

Spectacular clean campground. Location is amazing with walk to Atlantic beach or the Sound side. Will definitely return.

Great stay! Our only suggestions are more frequent cleaning of the bath house and an adult only hot tub. Other than that, we love this campground!

This was our first time staying here. The employees were helpful & friendly. Trash pickup is picked up all day. The bath/bathing bldgs are clean. We had a water & power only site w/the Pup Pen and found it to be exactly what we needed for this trip. The site was good size, and we enjoyed eating at the covered picnic table. Only negative was they were upgrading the wifi. We will be back again.

Beautiful spot. Good variety of places/ways to stay— Thank you for controlling the noise level- when we were there there were a copy of people who wanted to chose the music for everyone in the campsite and you all intervened. I appreciated you all taking control of that!

The sites given bonus were a little cramped even with a tent. We have a large tent and with parking and our tent we had very little room leaving us encroaching our neighbors often. Everything else was wonderful. The bathhouse is excellent.

It’s mostly about the beach. We stayed there twice in a month and were a little surprised the prices went up substantially on our way back in May. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is terrible there and that’s a pretty big downside. I was there when that shelf cloud came over and blew the Wi-Fi off the bathroom roof and noticed that it hadn’t been fixed yet. Would like to see that improved next time

Not happy with our spot. Parked in front of a fence, old unkept campers and beeping from a construction vehicle. There is a large oil stain to the right of my campers driver door. The store, pool, showers and laundry were great! I had an after hours ask, I received an immediate response. Great customer service. Thank you for the veteran discount, it was appreciated very much.

The campground has a variety of arrangements including small cabins, dog areas, covered picnic areas on individual camp spot. It has a pool, hot tub volleyball sand area all that I didn't use. There is a small store where you check in. They also cook on site. They have activities during the day: bingo, train rides for kids, karaoke etc. The campground doesn't back up to the beach; its more like a narrow shoreline. The current access to this is a series of narrow multiple level steps. How would anyone be able to carry cooler, chair, towels etc down to just gaze at the water seems unsafe. I didn't see anyone do that. Instead I had to travel to visited another beach. People friendly. Bathrooms were alright. They also have washer/dryers (didn't use). The parking areas are mostly gravel. It has rain before I got there and some places had pools of water. It was nice to hear the ocean sounds at night when it got dark and quite. There was a nice breeze during my entire trip.

All in all a great campground for a beach vacation. No boardwalks, high rise hotels, tourist areas, malls or tee shirt shops every 1/2 mile, just beach, ocean inlets, a few restaurants and surf shops. . Some things to keep in mind when planning your camping trip. Do not get an RV site on the main roads. Foot traffic, kids on bikes and other toys, dog walkers and folks going back and forth to the beach. You won't have any privacy or peace and quiet. The paw pens are not secure and won't contain a big aggressive dog. There is definitely a roach problem. I witnessed an infestation around the outside sink on the bath house near our RV site and was in the office when 2 people were complaining to the staff about the problem in their deluxe cabins. Did not affect us in our RV. Also, some office staff can be very condescending and rude (witness that also). Ask to speak to management if you have a problem. There are some staff trailers on the perimeter and a small area of long term residents that could use some sprucing up. The front section could definitely use some covered trash cans as the birds can get very aggressive before trash is picked up! Easy access to ocean and inlet for spectacular sunsets and sunrises, great dog parks and lots of kids activities during the season. Knowing what I know now, will return.
