This trip wasnt that great, because of the weather, and the ants where really bad, I couldn't even keep food in my cabin. This is our family vacation and it wasn't that enjoyable this trip. Then the booking people charged my neice for my bill, it was humiliating sorting that out, so yeah This trip wasn't as enjoyable as the past. The pool was actually the only thing I enjoyed. Maybe next year

Cabin needed several repairs. Fridge had 3 door shelves...2 were missing. TV remote didnt work....massive mold on living room window....bath fan didn't work....bedroom door knob falling off....ant infestation throughout

Beautiful location: stayed a few times since the 1990's. The campground has transitioned to permitting locals to use Tiki Bar & Tina's cafe but also the pool & grounds. In the pavilion, a local teen approached & asked for some of our dinner. Bar customers occupied the hot tub w/ open containers for hours. These were amenities paid for by the campers, not the locals. TY for considering my concerns

Rustic Cabin 508. It was the tightest site we’ve ever had at a KOA. Parking for this cabin wasn’t next to the cabin, which was inconvenient because we need to run electric to our vehicle to power the cooler. We didn’t have an outside electric box or water at the cabin. We ran electric from inside and water was across the way in a field. Cabin door had noticeable gaps. Loved Resort; Bad Sit

Manager at Cape Hatteras KOA made us feel at home. She took care of our request and great communication she posted us timely updates. Best Manager at KOA! She should be promoted to regional Director!

Our refrigerator would not stay cold, the water in the shower would not stay warm and the mosquitoes were terrible. We have stayed before and never had issues with mosquitoes, in the past I remember they always sprayed for them.

Everything is as perfect except one major part. I booked two deluxe cabins and then called the next day to request two cabins side by side next on the same deck. When I arrived, they change the cabins I requested and just refunded me the additional fee. But we are left extremely frustrated because I booked these back in December and made plans for our families to be next to each other.

It was a relaxing and fun filled experience. The cabin was clean, and well designed. Very cozy, and the deck, fire pit, fridge, and grill were awesome additions. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was great as usual. Bathrooms could be cleaned more often. We stayed in the newer rustic cabin. The description says sheets and towels included, but the towels actually are not. Apparently the grey throws are considered towels. This description is deceptive. I wish there was at least one night stand with drawers to put clothes away, keep the phone and night light on.

we arrived to the deluxe cabin, I thought there would’ve been a stove. But it wasn’t. I went to check out the beds and the two bunk beds had ants crawling on them. I immediately called the front-they sent someone to come clean them. I don’t think the previous housekeeper cleaned very well. There were dog hairs on the sofa and fur balls on the floor. I think they need to do a little upgrading

There were ants and roaches in our cabin. There was also black mold on the ceiling above the top bunk bed and in the bathroom above the vanity and door. The grass around our cabin was high. The door was also hard to open/close. It needed a refresh overall. But it was quiet and our kids enjoyed the pool and playground.

Deluxe cabins overpriced-too filthy, bunk beds too small and matresses hard as rock. we have stayed here growing up. sadly, the direction the KOA is going is not family friendly. The Tiki bar opened every night is ridiculous- open drinking in the pool-gross, the hot tub same thing. The culture now created is nothing but ongoing drinking every night and kids unsupervised Will not recommend.

Stayed in a cabin, ac was pathetic, beds were pathetic, cabin smelled like mildew and musk. We left early beautiful place pathetic cabin would not reccomend

Great lodging except for very little hot water. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the activities and we appreciated the cleanliness of the pool area and room! The glow train was a big hit!!! Would be nice if the steps leading to beach area could be cleaned up from the sand every so often. Just something I noticed. Thank you KOA!! Even through the rain you helped to brighten our vacation!!!

This was year 18. We love our annual 4th of July week. We stayed in the deluxe cabins with the full kitchen. It was so convenient. Of course the campground needs updating like paint and rotten wood. Salt air will do that. I did have to buy fans. For the cost it should be cool enough. Only bad thing was my sisters car window was shattered by kids throwing rocks. See ya next year!

We come every summer for about 10 days! WE LOVE IT!!! Great family campground . We love all of the activities… karaoke, cornhole tournament, spray train, bingo. There’s just so much to do we love it all! We love being able to see so many family and friends and spend the summer at the beach & in the pool!!! Great staff , we can’t wait to be back next year.

Fantastic experience from check-in to check-out. The facilities are super clean, the grounds are extremely well cared for, and being just steps away from the beach is incredible. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and plenty to do for all ages. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the OBX!

Lots of fun things to do for kids. Deluxe cabin was a bit small for 8 people and no stove in the kitchen was a bit of an issue since it says full kitchen. Beach acces was really nice.

Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Very nice clean and being able to bring the pup was a nice add. Staff was wonderful! Something to do for all ages! Didn’t travel with kids but you could tell by all the smiles there will be many five star reviews.

The cabin that we stayed in was cute and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint that I have was that it had a strong mildew smell. The staff was on point. There were activities scheduled every day and I love that they send a text every morning with the schedule. Very nice pool snd bath house. I will definitely be back!

Our place wasn’t ready until 40 minutes after check in which made it difficult since we had dogs which are not allowed in certain places at the park. But other than it was very nice and we loved the karaoke.

We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect. The bathrooms and club house areas were extremely clean and there was plenty for the kids to do.

My family has stayed here for the last 15 years. Kids were out throwing rocks around and hit the rear window of my vehicle which caused it to shatter and they ran off. Every year the price increases exponentially, but there aren’t upgrades to the campground since last year. The cabin floor is squishy in places due to rotten wood covered up with linoleum and the air conditioner leakage inside

The place was very small, not as clean as I expected. Kids room with no ac i had to buy a fan to push cold into there room. Only two chairs of the dining table can be used because of the place so small. I dont know why they called it deluxe. They charged me the hotel prices. The AC were so loud. They offered only two toilet papers and two garbage bags, i asked for it they never brought it. Not ag

We stayed in an ocean front cabin that had a great view, however, the cabin was disgusting (hair everywhere, old coffee in the cups on the shelf, bathroom smelled like pee, the shower was moldy, etc. The cabin is also in need of many major repairs and is a hazard. The floor was rotten in multiple areas, the pocket door leading to the bunks did not slide, and the air conditioner was comically loud.

We loved our stay! Perfect place to stay with kids! We had one issue, when checking out at the store one morning we heard an employee talking about us to another employee. That was really disappointing to see.

Tina’s Poolside Cafe was exceptional, only negative is it closed at 3. Campground itself was great! Perfect location, access to the ocean & the sound. Several restaurants up and down the coast. We stayed in the cabins, they were clean and had everything you need. My Father in Law stayed in the suites & he loved it.

This is the second time we've stayed at this campground. It is very nice. This year it was a last minute pivot (long story) so we were unable to book the premium sites by the office. We had site 226 and it was closer to the beach so that was a plus. They were still cleaning up from a nor'easter so there was some debris around that they were cleaning up. No big deal. Our site did not offer a lot of shade and our awnings didn't help either. So I'd get a sight where your camper shields the sun. Centrally located to lots of things to do. Office staff very nice. We ended up having to evacuate because another nor'easter was coming in. Aww the adventure of RVing!

I love this spot, especially on October. We travel by RV, but there are plenty of cabin options for other family and friends to meet us there. This year we were chased out by a storm/mandatory evacuation, but staff handles the evacuation smoothly and refunds were given instantly. I try to come every year.
