This was a first time staying at a KOA. I would recommend this location to everyone. It is a really great place to stay. Clean, great staff, pools, hot tub. I will be planning to come back to stay again.

We were very happy with our room! It was large and comfortable, but most of all, very clean!! Everyone that worked there was very nice and helpful. My daughter said the cafe had the best wrap she has ever had!! Although it was a bit pricey, she said she could eat there every day!

Come every year for Shuck Hatteras - what a wonderful place to stay and play! The staff is super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Love this location and everything about it!

Everything was great, as usual! The cabins were clean and ready. Friendly staff. Hot water and good pressure in the shower. Perfect service from trash pickup to firewood delivery. We love the Cape Hatteras KOA!

This was our first visit to KOA. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bath house was very nice. Individual rooms for shower, toilet and sink. Would love to visit during a warmer time of year to enjoy more amenities.

Very accommodating. Our site was flooded after rain and muddy due to construction of electrical posts and they let us move to a site that was not quite as muddy. Super nice staff.

My family have been camping at your KOA for close to 40 years. We so enjoyed the Shuck Hatteras Festival! The KOA Rodanthe Team did a wonderful job. Thank you all! We will be back!!!

We loved our stay! The location is close to everything and the many campground amenities made for an enjoyable stay. The bathrooms are spotless and serviced multiple times per day. Additionally, the Tday feast was awesome! Thanks for a great visit!

Very courteous and excellent room condition, clean and large. Very happy with this KOA and will definitely recommend it to others. Nice area and lots to do. The pool is huge and has a gradual slope at one end that is great for children or even adults with disabilities. Beautiful place.

I have been winter camping at this KOA since it was just me & a troop of Boy Scouts, but this trip was very disappointing.The design of the new bathroom/shower facility falls short-tiny hooks, no shower shelf, not enough hot water to rinse my hair, & couldn’t power my hairdryer-thus I walked outside in freezing wind with wet hair. Also, people let their dogs pee on my campsite while I was there.

We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving meal that was hosted and brought together by the staff at KOA. It was great to travel, but still have the traditional meal. It was a nice surprise to have the hot tub on and working and the location was perfect. Being able to walk right on the beach from our rv site was magical.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the camp sites were nice and well kept. The downfall is the poorly maintained interior roads. Our RV began to dump items off the cabinet tops and bathroom counter as we had to bounce through huge potholes to our RV camp site. We had a great time, only thing I would suggest is a curtain for the sliding door on the vacation rentals upstairs. The lights from the pool are so bright at night.

We got 2 sites and tent camped here for 2 nights with 5 kids and 6 adults, including my elderly parents. Everyone enjoyed the trip. Beach during the day and pool time in the evening was great! The kids had a blast on the Glow Train. Our sites were thankfully next to each other and had a fire pit, grill, water, electric and picnic table with a cover. We'll be back!

Site 100 was pretty neat to people watch at the beach access. Not intrusive, but tje sewer hook up there was a challenge. High of our RV was not compatible with the hookup, but we made it work. Lots of activities and great pool and music. Beach areas are receding so be prepared for high tide when you set up out there.

The campground has a variety of arrangements including small cabins, dog areas, covered picnic areas on individual camp spot. It has a pool, hot tub volleyball sand area all that I didn't use. There is a small store where you check in. They also cook on site. They have activities during the day: bingo, train rides for kids, karaoke etc. The campground doesn't back up to the beach; its more like a narrow shoreline. The current access to this is a series of narrow multiple level steps. How would anyone be able to carry cooler, chair, towels etc down to just gaze at the water seems unsafe. I didn't see anyone do that. Instead I had to travel to visited another beach. People friendly. Bathrooms were alright. They also have washer/dryers (didn't use). The parking areas are mostly gravel. It has rain before I got there and some places had pools of water. It was nice to hear the ocean sounds at night when it got dark and quite. There was a nice breeze during my entire trip.
