Camp sites are way too close together. Too much trash around the perimeter of the facility. We stayed in site 242, take a look at the grass and bushes up against the fence between the campground and the local houses. It is unbelievable how much trash was along that fence. If this were the first KOA I had camped at I would never camp at a KOA again. We will never camp at that location again.

We come every summer for about 10 days! WE LOVE IT!!! Great family campground . We love all of the activities… karaoke, cornhole tournament, spray train, bingo. There’s just so much to do we love it all! We love being able to see so many family and friends and spend the summer at the beach & in the pool!!! Great staff , we can’t wait to be back next year.

We stayed for a week here and absolutely loved it! It had everything we needed. Great pool, playground, and activity for the kids without the hustle and bustle. We definitely plan to come back!

Fantastic experience from check-in to check-out. The facilities are super clean, the grounds are extremely well cared for, and being just steps away from the beach is incredible. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and plenty to do for all ages. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the OBX!

The experience was great. The one issue children were on electric bikes flying down the roads, someone could get hurt and no control of the staff that I saw, besides that a great experience.

Lots of fun things to do for kids. Deluxe cabin was a bit small for 8 people and no stove in the kitchen was a bit of an issue since it says full kitchen. Beach acces was really nice.

staff was super friendly and the campground so well maintained.Beaches were pristine and there was easy access to all sorts of amenities. my only 'feedback' would be for the arrival staff to be mindful of placement of campers and encroachment in other sites. My site was unfortunately a lot smaller than it should have been because the neighboring camper was over the site border well into my site.

Paid for 2 nites, stayed 1 and left. Kids all over the roads racing electric bikes, seems there's no security. Not friendly at desk when checking in.

Although many children seemed to be enjoying the place, it was just too congested for my prefences. Virtually no privacy from adjoining site, many dogs with limited grass areas seemed a bit unsanitary. Access to beach was very good. Overall its a great location, adequately kept campground, seemingly more suited for yound families and kids.

Not really for seniors, Roudy neighbors management was not responsive at midnight. I did receive a callback next day, not helpful by that time. Hopefully lessons learned.

The staff and team there are great. We were not happy with our campsite. We were right next to the septic system in smelt sewage, the 9 days that we were there. There was also a sewage leak right behind our RV that I had to call and report. Another a nuisance was the Golf cart. Parking right next to our site. We have stayed there for many years but was not happy with our site. Everything else was.

My family of 5 + 2 dogs had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Cape Hatteras KOA in our 39' RV. We have 2 young kids and the family bathrooms were incredibly helpful to clean up after a day at the beach. The amenities were fantastic and wish we had more time to take advantage of all that the KOA offered. We can't wait to return next summer.

The resort is located in a super cool area! There is ocean beach access just steps away from the sites, which was awesome. The resort itself is old and in need of some repairs. The deluxe site was great, the pool was nice and big, the cafe food was good, and the club house was clean, but the bath houses were not kept clean at all. It was just way too expensive for disgusting bathrooms and showers.

The campsites are very small, you are literally on top of each other. The pool is nice but there is only one pool. The ocean is rough.

Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Very nice clean and being able to bring the pup was a nice add. Staff was wonderful! Something to do for all ages! Didn’t travel with kids but you could tell by all the smiles there will be many five star reviews.

A great three day stay. Our site was in perfect condition. Plenty of grass which is always a plus and no garbage. The fire ring was clean when we arrived and all of the utilities worked fine. Our check in was quick and everyone was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and looked brand new. It's also worth noting that they remained clean throughout the long weekend.

The cabin that we stayed in was cute and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint that I have was that it had a strong mildew smell. The staff was on point. There were activities scheduled every day and I love that they send a text every morning with the schedule. Very nice pool snd bath house. I will definitely be back!

Our place wasn’t ready until 40 minutes after check in which made it difficult since we had dogs which are not allowed in certain places at the park. But other than it was very nice and we loved the karaoke.

Please add shade to the pool. Or make it possible to sent an umbrella, with children it’s impossible to be at the pool during the day.

enjoyed our stay. This is our third time at this campground. Grounds are kept clean and bathrooms/showers are clean as well. Staff is very friendly. THere was some confusion on the first day if the pool was open or closed due to weather. The front desk indicated the pool was open but staff outside said it was closed.

This is the second time we've stayed at this campground. It is very nice. This year it was a last minute pivot (long story) so we were unable to book the premium sites by the office. We had site 226 and it was closer to the beach so that was a plus. They were still cleaning up from a nor'easter so there was some debris around that they were cleaning up. No big deal. Our site did not offer a lot of shade and our awnings didn't help either. So I'd get a sight where your camper shields the sun. Centrally located to lots of things to do. Office staff very nice. We ended up having to evacuate because another nor'easter was coming in. Aww the adventure of RVing!

I love this spot, especially on October. We travel by RV, but there are plenty of cabin options for other family and friends to meet us there. This year we were chased out by a storm/mandatory evacuation, but staff handles the evacuation smoothly and refunds were given instantly. I try to come every year.
