Everything was wonderful and clean. I didn’t know what to expect but was very surprised by how awesome it was. The family vibe and kid safe environment was awesome. The suites were very clean. One small helpful thing I wish we’d had was more places to hang towels, both beach and bath. Not a big deal but i did notice I didn’t have enough hangers. We will absolutely be back!

The hook ups at the sites are well maintained. Sites are level. Everyone that works there are so polite, friendly and helpful. The location is the OBX should be. Rodanthe is a picturesque small town vibe...Love it. The weekly events and activities at the campground are many and either free or a small fee. The camp store is great with lots of items and fair pricing. All the bath houses are clean.

I sent an email to Cape Hatteras KOA after we checked in. This is our 3rd stay at KOA’s across America. Please reference that email. Unfortinately, the “Deluxe” cabin we rented at Cape Hatteras KOA did not meet our expectations.

Propane fire pit didn’t work. GT 2 shower leaks and the water temperature fluctuates to just right to cold then hot scalding. Did voice the above problems when I checked out. Was supposed to be contacted by manager. I believe some kind of refund should be issued

This place is amazing. We enjoyed coming back year after year. So many activities for the kids to do. Jason is absolutely amazing ! He is so kind and energetic. My kids look for him. He is always smiling looking for the next high five to give out. He truly is one of a kind employee. Can’t wait to come back next year !

Just a wonderful stay! The grounds are great. The pool is amazing. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is almost like a festival!!! We loved it and will come back!!!

Sites are tight! Had to have multiple cars moved to back into our sight with a 40' 5th wheel. The whole camp ground looks run down and is in need of landscaping. Really expensive for what you get. This was the worst KOA I've stayed at. Staff was nice and so was the pool but I'll stay at the campground next door next time

Sites are very tight. Hard to maneuver roads. Nice proximity to the beach, which was the only highlight.

The place is too cramped and way too expensive for its location and size. I will never book a KOA; this is the last straw. This trip has awakened my eyes to what the brand is about, and it is not what I am looking for in an RV park anymore. I will use one more time to redeem my points, but after that, NO MORE. The site was too cramped, and I felt like a number.

We had a great time. Super happy with the hookup and space. Staff was amazing. Great arrangements for the kids with things to so. On site food was great. We will be back next year.

It was an amazing framily vacation. We had sites as well as cabins. Everything was clean and the staff was amazing! The texts daily with information was an awesome feature! I highly recommend coming here!!

We have visited twice and absolutely LOVE this KOA! It’s gorgeous, clean, friendly and in an amazing location. We loved the coastal cottage we stayed in this past week. It was perfection. We recommend this KOA to everyone and look forward to visiting again! Thanks for helping me create a fun vacation week with my teen. Also I want to note that as a single parent, we feel safe staying here!!

Good location in OBX but nothing much to do in the area. Sound and beach access. Good amenities. LOTS of kids during summer so pool/hot tub is crowded with them. Deluxe cabins don't get terribly cold with A/C - bring fans! Overall if you are looking for a nice place in OBX, it is good.

As usual it was very good, and the weather was with us most of the time. One improvement that could be done is to have "trash boxes" on every site/row, so that we didn't have to guard the trash from the various birds wanting to get hold of what's inside. We are booked again for next year.

We loved everything, the ocean and the sound with amazing sunsets. The sites are large and campground is clean. The staff are all very nice and helpful and plenty of fun activities planned and an amazing pool. Can’t wait to come back.

We have visited three times during the summer months. Proximity to the beach is great. The pool and hot tub are wonderful, especially with the live music each night. One thing that was a negative is that there were too many children using the hot tub as a swimming pool. One even swam past me under water! It should be adults only. Also sites are very small.

We got 2 sites and tent camped here for 2 nights with 5 kids and 6 adults, including my elderly parents. Everyone enjoyed the trip. Beach during the day and pool time in the evening was great! The kids had a blast on the Glow Train. Our sites were thankfully next to each other and had a fire pit, grill, water, electric and picnic table with a cover. We'll be back!

Site 100 was pretty neat to people watch at the beach access. Not intrusive, but tje sewer hook up there was a challenge. High of our RV was not compatible with the hookup, but we made it work. Lots of activities and great pool and music. Beach areas are receding so be prepared for high tide when you set up out there.

The campground has a variety of arrangements including small cabins, dog areas, covered picnic areas on individual camp spot. It has a pool, hot tub volleyball sand area all that I didn't use. There is a small store where you check in. They also cook on site. They have activities during the day: bingo, train rides for kids, karaoke etc. The campground doesn't back up to the beach; its more like a narrow shoreline. The current access to this is a series of narrow multiple level steps. How would anyone be able to carry cooler, chair, towels etc down to just gaze at the water seems unsafe. I didn't see anyone do that. Instead I had to travel to visited another beach. People friendly. Bathrooms were alright. They also have washer/dryers (didn't use). The parking areas are mostly gravel. It has rain before I got there and some places had pools of water. It was nice to hear the ocean sounds at night when it got dark and quite. There was a nice breeze during my entire trip.
