I had a few issues withy cabin and had to ask a number of times for someone to help and only one issue was resolved. The staff did not seem too receptive nor were they super friendly in general. I loved the amenities but for the price of my stay and the lack of customer service I don't feel it was entirely worth it. This was my first time at a KOA place. I may not stay at any other moving forw

Check in staff is professional and friendly. Our escort help us get into our site. The sites and roads are tight and fairly level with fire rings and picnic tables. Good location to explore the island. When leaving on our travel day two gentlemen assisted us with pulling out of our site since the site is tight. Very thankful for their help and escort out since we are over 60 feet with our tow veh.

This is our yearly stay, for the 5th year. We always look forward to this campground due to friendliness of the workers, the cleanliness and overall atmosphere.

Not satisfied at all. Rented a cabin as well as a rv site, cable did not work the entire time we were there. It felt like nothing was maintained on site except the pool. Washing machine in laundry was broken and the cabin we rented had ants in the interior. Way too much money. Sites we crammed together, and way too small. Roadways into campsites have not been maintained. Never again.

We enjoyed every minute! The campground was clean and well maintained. Employee's were pleasant and helpful. There were so many fun memory making moments thanks to the fun activity packed calendar. I really enjoyed the text message updates about activities, pool closing/opening due to weather and the many other convenient options for the text service. We are already planning our next trip!

Booked a spot for 40’ motorcoach pulling car and the rv spot literally only fit the RV not the truck no room to park. Campsite behind us was so close had to step over all their stuff to get to hookup. For the price per night will stay down the road at other campsite

we love coming there but was very disappointed with our cabin, The door was broke very hard to open and close, didn't close all the way so flies and bugs and sunlight in the morning came in thru crack.. Had to wait because air conditioner was broke they had to install a new one and wasn't put in the cabin that I booked, said I had to lock it in was not told that banisters on porch were rotten

We had a great time there was plenty for a family of 6 to do. From the toddlers to the teen to the grandparents there was always something to do we had a great time and it was really clean and quiet. There was plenty of knowledgeable staff always willing to help.

We stayed in one of the corner suites and loved the campground and our lodging. The only complaint is that the floor of our room was so nasty that it made our feet black from walking on it and there was dried food in the sink. The room could have been cleaner—otherwise, we love the campground and all of the amenities and activities. Staff were super kind and it was reasonably priced.

Campgrpund facilities, activities, amenities, and staff were awesome. I wish the sites were just a little bigger. There isn't room for the campers and parking. There are so many vehicles parked on the road that I had to ask 3 people to move them on the day I left.

Things for the kids to do was amazing. The cleaning of the main camp area bathroom was very ill timed. The store, I believe I was over charged twice. The second time I asked for a receipt and what I got was in no way a receipt. No dollar values on it at all. There were two lines the same and the cashier insisted it was only one. Said that is how the computer prints it. Could not prove overcharge.

Our check in was delayed about a half hour, our cleaner was so sweet though. We enjoy staying at KOA Hatteras and love the extra activities put on by the staff. We did have some big issues. Roaches in the cabin and ants in the clamping tent. Theac was not working properly in the glamping tent either. Overall still 5 stars, we plan on returning.

Stayed in a cabin closest to the water, beautiful ocean view! Room had everything we needed, even an electric grill outside to cook our fresh fish. A couple bugs inside but guess that's to be expected. Campground store/laundry/bathrooms convenient and café was wonderful! Crazy golf cart drivers and kids not looking driving electric scooters everywhere!

Nice campground, we liked that the pool was very large and gave every one plenty of room to hang out, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions. I think the only thing would say was you need some walking paths along the road so campers are not walking and not payiing attention. Overall a very good experience, saw one of the most amazing lighting storms one night !!

Stayed in cabin 532 and immediately saw ants on bed and walls. Informed front desk and maint set 2 small ant traps. Ended up buying several cans of ant spray during stay. Been coming here for many years and never had this problem before. Feel like more could’ve been done to address the issue. Shower renovations were very nice though.

The site we were on and many around us need some TLC! The asphalt is broken and the sandy parts are eroded. Premium prices, without premium maintenance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Underage golf cart driving especially after dark is at epidemic levels. Beach access walkways need better maintenance to aid us older folks with walking challenges to get there. We will be back!

This is a very nice park. Lots of activities geared towards kids. The only reason that I didn’t give it a 5 star is because the grounds are not very well maintained. I don’t believe that anyone there knows what a weed eater is. Our lot had been mowed prior to arrival,but obviously hadn’t been done in awhile because of the “hay” mounds. We enjoyed the campground for its location right next to the beach, the ongoing daily activities and the onsite amenities. Great place to spend a week. Exceptional bathrooms and showers.

We got 2 sites and tent camped here for 2 nights with 5 kids and 6 adults, including my elderly parents. Everyone enjoyed the trip. Beach during the day and pool time in the evening was great! The kids had a blast on the Glow Train. Our sites were thankfully next to each other and had a fire pit, grill, water, electric and picnic table with a cover. We'll be back!

Site 100 was pretty neat to people watch at the beach access. Not intrusive, but tje sewer hook up there was a challenge. High of our RV was not compatible with the hookup, but we made it work. Lots of activities and great pool and music. Beach areas are receding so be prepared for high tide when you set up out there.

The campground has a variety of arrangements including small cabins, dog areas, covered picnic areas on individual camp spot. It has a pool, hot tub volleyball sand area all that I didn't use. There is a small store where you check in. They also cook on site. They have activities during the day: bingo, train rides for kids, karaoke etc. The campground doesn't back up to the beach; its more like a narrow shoreline. The current access to this is a series of narrow multiple level steps. How would anyone be able to carry cooler, chair, towels etc down to just gaze at the water seems unsafe. I didn't see anyone do that. Instead I had to travel to visited another beach. People friendly. Bathrooms were alright. They also have washer/dryers (didn't use). The parking areas are mostly gravel. It has rain before I got there and some places had pools of water. It was nice to hear the ocean sounds at night when it got dark and quite. There was a nice breeze during my entire trip.
