Everyone was very nice and helpful. This place is fantastic and now that I’m back in Michigan, I keep thinking about the great time we had there. We are going to reserve a spot for the same time next year.

This is the worst year. They haven’t cleaned the showers in days, the depends laid there for at least 3 days, each day the person added one more pair. The wi-if no longer works, even by the office. The hot tub doesn’t bubble and is cloudy. Lots of cleaning and upgrading needs done to be a “Resort”. My check-in was horrible, dog in car over 90 degrees, couldn’t find a clean cabin for ov

The spots are close together, it’s loud, and the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Seriously, I don’t know if I’ve elver seen that much mold in a bathroom and I do a lot of traveling. You need to clean them!!!

The staff were amazing! The amenities for children in particular were darling. The glow train was so fun and she loved the bouncy balloon. The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 and gave it 8/10, was because the hot tub needs to be regularly cleaned out. It was a bit….”used”. The pool, however, was sparkling and clean. Highly recommend this KOA!

Loved the staff (Gretchen, Susan, etc), the cleanliness, the pool, the activities, the laundry, shower, the restaurant, and, well, everything! I just wish we didn't have to be there in person to set up a guaranteed site. If we could do that over the phone or online, KOA would be perfect.

Awesome time as always. A few things that could make it better are to heat the pool so that it can be enjoyed longer into the season (water was freezing) and to add the water slides or something similar that were there in previous years. Staff was excellent as always and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Cabin & weather were great! I stay there a lot for work & y’all are my favorite place to stay��� I had a flat tire & a rough morning & the staff was so patient & amazing in helping me. I really won’t stay anywhere else on the island. The staff make the experience so much more homey. Y’all are my home away from home.

site was great, staff is pleasant. This is our 4th year at this KOA but the last 2 years the bathrooms are not being cleaned and maintained, showers are dirty and need DAILY cleaning.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I do like the campgrounds. Cottage 1444 had a huge crack in the bathtub and all the flooring was rotted inside of the bathroom. The bedroom TV was Fuzzy. You get maybe 10 minutes at the most of hot water for a shower. Also the washer and dryers were out of service in the bathhouse. It's not the end of the world I will stay here again.

We had a great time, however the bathrooms need to be cleaner, at times they were very dirty and looked not they had not been cleaned for a couple of days . Also on cabin one of the deck rails was loose and falling out of place , which was dangerous Otherwise the entire campground and staff were amazing

We stayed for 4 nights. Enjoyed our stay. Loved the ocean access. Got to watch the surf and see the area although Hurricane lee kept us out of the water. Beautiful pool with Tiki bar. Only negative - bathrooms are nice but need a more thorough floor cleaning once in awhile. Still, wonderful KOA. Would go again.

This place is great! I like that a lot of the sites are still gravel, sand, grass or some blacktop, not a concrete jungle radiating heat. Loved the pool. All the employees that we met were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and enjoyed. Campground getting run down and needs lots of maintenance and improvements. Staff RVs (assuming) looks like an RV graveyard.

Staff was great, facilities outstanding, our site was a very short walk to the ocean (which was wild due to hurricane Lee off shore) the area is beautiful.

It was a great stay. Everything was just as described except no internet until the last day of our stay other than that it was perfect. We will go back to this campground

In the past 4 years, I have traveled across the US in my motor-home 8 times and stayed at about 100 campgrounds. I have stayed in other KOAs, State Parks, private campgrounds, farms, museums, and even church parking lots. This was the BEST I have ever stayed in! Excellent staff, superb maintenance, stunning location. I will return.

Lisa is one of the nicest people I have ever met that works at a campground. Enjoyed the heated pool. Marin who works at the restaurant and Tiki Bar is great. Already looking forward to next September Best Mike& Karen Schmidt

Great amenities! Really enjoyed the live music and the tiki bar. Text messages about events ie, power or water issues were very helpful. Good time!

The campground was very nice. Lots to do and peaceful. The pool was great! The only negative thing was that the spots are very small. We had a corner lot so our front yard was big. However, our slide-out was right on top of the people behind us. Thank you

We had another great stay at this KOA. The staff, as always, was great. It was easy to get the site we wanted and everything worked perfectly. I really appreciate the text updates on campground events and unexpected power outages.

I have too say this KOA is by far my favorite! We have stayed at numerous KOA for vacations but this one is over the top , the place is beautiful, the staff was amazing, the pool is excellent, the cafe food was excellent at a good value and the Beach was Gorgeous! Plus it’s all dog friendly!! The sites are a little close but hey our neighbors were great! The park was very well kept and safe.

Staff were fantastic in all respects. The campground really kept neat and clean. The only thing to be improved is the cable TV service.. Needs to be looked at . We will most definately be back.

The campground and facilities are great. The beds were not comfortable at all in the deluxe cottages. We did not have a remote to the bedroom TV and when the staff brought one out to us, it would not work the TV. We rented a golf cart and instead of charging me $78.97 for 1 day the lady charged my debit card $787.98, which in turn had my checking account screwed up the rest of the vacation.

We were down for my son’s 9th birthday…we loved all of the members weekend activities! As always the facilities were clean, staff was attentive, kind and helpful! Our favorite place to stay 30 minutes from home! We can’t wait to come back soon!

EXCELLENT, Except for lousy WIFI. All the years coming down here you think you would improve it like the other KOAs such as Wilmington, Ashville, Cherokee and others.

I was there for a property inspection, and sadly, not for a stay, but it's a nice place. Cabins to rent, a great pool, snack bar, very clean, very neat, and from a professional standpoint, very safe.

Camped with friends and kids in mid September, and the campground was absolutely perfect. It was very quiet at night, you can hear ocean waves crashing while you sleep in your tent. Campground is very kid and toddler friendly, with many activities through the day, in addition to a very large pool, playground, and a jumping pillow, which all adults enjoyed as well. Having a pool side restaurant and bar made it very easy to feed tired hungry kids without ever leaving the water. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. Bathhouses and grounds are kept very clean. We will definitely be back many more times!

Beautiful location. Probably the best in Buxton. Simple, basic, no frills accommodation. You pay for the location. You can hear the ocean at night. Beautiful sun rise. Accommodations need some upgrades and renovations. Especially the water supply that has a weird smell and taste. But you cant beat the location.
