We really like staying here as a quick getaway from Dallas. This is our 2nd time here. The sites are clean. The grounds are well maintained. The check-in is easy and the staff is very friendly. The Q & Brew restaurant was operating out of a tent after the fire but the food was great. We hope they are open and serving their brews next we come. We will definitely be back!

We were told this KOA had one slot left. The grounds we not even remotely close to full. Horrible location of our site compared to all the vacant ones. Office opens late, closes early. Staff was the most unfriendly KOA we stayed in.

We have been to this location several times always staying in premium sites facing pond.We were disappointed with the high grass and abundance of weeds on this visit as we had never seen that before. The sites are normally very tidy.There had been rain the day before but height of grass and weeds indicated mowing had not been recent. However we enjoyed our stay and will be back.Friendly staff.

Very well kept KOA. The sites had concrete pads and a grass area. Nice trial to walk the dogs on around the pond. The only thing that wasn’t nice is the air conditioner in the bathroom/shower house was way too cold.

Surprised that the BBQ place burned down and it isn't updated on the site. Was looking forward to the bar. This KOA had very good internet. We could not get free over the air channels to tune in..so, we watched netflicks on my tablet because there was no cable either. It was a very nice pond, site's were super clean, trash pickup and friendly folks in the office and the BBQ pit stand.

The park was great BUT, the wifi was horrible, couldn't keep phones connected, no cable tv, couldn't watch TV because wifi was so bad.

Camp grounds were very well keep and clean. Only things I wish different K9 Park a little bigger for larger dogs, sad to say camp maintenance has to check as some people don’t pick up after pets, and didn’t have cable, other than that park was great and owners and maintenance staff were very nice and helpful.

It's frustrating to make reservations a year in advance and can't get what we need. The staff I have dealt with are not very friendly. The Tornado sirens went off and not one staff person came to the campers and made them aware and tell them where to go to be safe!!! Their WiFi is terrible!!! Their prices are super high!!!! The concrete slabs are nice. We like this KOA but we're disappointed!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize if we let you down during the storm. At check-in we had a large sign about the expected inclement weather with shelter areas designated. We also had employees in these areas throughout the park during the storm. For safety reasons, we did not send our employees out to knock on doors.

Loved the clean areas and lots was large you can enjoy your stay with out be on top of the next lot/RV. Relax, quiet place, enjoyable Sorry the resturant had a fire we did not get to enjoy eating there. Place I would stay longer next time to TX

Noisy. Bad, terrible WIFI. They should state on their web site that the restaurant burned down. Most of the washing machines and dryers were out of service. The smoke house is a nice touch.

Unfortunately we were only there one night at the end of a long road trip. This campground is very nice!! The sites were large & clean. It was also very quiet yet close & convenient to town.

We love this KOA! Sites are level and well cared for as is the whole park. Their wonderful on site restaurant the Q and Brew had a fire but they were still serving a limited menu out of the patio. The laundry room this time had 2 out of the three washers down only 2 dryers worked. For a resort this size, it would be nice to have an additional laundry.

Beautiful property with wide green spaces between the concrete pull through sites next to a lovely pond with ducks and a fountain. Also nice area for walking. Restrooms were super clean with shower, toilet, and sink in each. One it the BEST KOA’s I’ve stayed in! Hope to stay there again when I’m in the area!

Best spacing between sites of any KOA. Level concrete pads. Great view of the pond. Very clean RV park. However, this KOA has the worst "Free WiFi" of any RV park we have ever stayed. This was our 2nd time to stay here. Terrible internet both times. We had others, in our group, at different RV sites. They had terrible WiFi, also. Something needs done about this.

Fantastic camping experience! The site had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from well-maintained facilities to breathtaking views. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our trip truly memorable. Can't wait to come back!

I booked the large Conestoga wagon for my family. We got to spend two nights there and had a chance to explore Canton “trade days” that is right down the road. We have been trying to go camping every New Year's Eve for the last few years. The wagon we stayed in was number 1 and is the closest to the bathroom. It had a king size bed and two bunk beds. There was a heater inside, that worked well, even with freezing temperatures at night. We did take extra covers, but all beds had pillows covers and sheets. They also provided towels for 6 ppl. The bathroom was suppose to be only for the wagon guests, and had a code. We did see other people (not staying in the wagons) using the code and going in. Maybe because more ppl were actually using it, they were not maintained clean. There was trash overflowing. We noticed that it was picked up, but it got bad again pretty quickly. We had a great time there. The location of the wagons is in front of the pond, and is separated from the other camping spots. Very pretty. The resort offers many options for family activities and has a restaurant on site.
