Staff friendly and professional. Sites large, well lighted, grounds always neat and clean! Sorry restaurant was closed due to fire, hope it will be back in operation next visit but BBQ offered in tin porch was awesome!

You have set the bar high..our first time to a RV park and I am afraid we are going to have hi expectations for all future RV campsites. It was better than we imagined.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The grounds were clean and spacious and we loved the ponds! Everyone was super friendly and handled all our needs quickly and professionally! Will definitely stay again!

Very nice park and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The only negative to this park is the Wifi, it was almost useless. That along with poor cell phone reception made using the internet extremely furstrating.

I gave it 3 stars because it was just a 'blah' 5 day stay. It could have been the weather. It could have been the lack of contact from staff (no one riding around saying 'hi', etc.) . The office wished us a 'Happy Thanksgiving' when we checked in on a Tuesday and that was it. At other KOA's we stayed at over Thanksgiving they have done a pot luck to make it festive, not here. Restaurant closed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately our restaurant had a fire recently. We are in the process of rebuilding it and hope to have it back open in the next few months. We do generally have a large Thanksgiving meal and hope to continue the tradition in the future.

Restrooms were never cleaned the entire 5 days we were there. Trash was not picked up for 2 days. Restaurant operating out of their smokehouse would close hours before 4 pm. Very disappointed.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The park is tidy with ample spacing between sites. The concrete pads were level, wide, and long, with the utility connections easy to reach.

You need WI-FI the cost for your site needs to reflect this. We could not stream anything. The lights were off so we could not see from the road on the first night. We had no fire ring ....

Nice, friendly check-in. Good spacing between sites. Unfortunately, our site, 23, was totally flooded with the rainstorm that occurred overnight ... 2" of water all around our rig ... not pleasant! Also, the grass had some weeds that caused a huge rash on me when I knelt down to attach the water hoses, and our dog also go a rash! We'll stay again, but we'll be very careful outside our rig.

We are in a 38’ travel trailer pulled by a GMC 2500 Denali. We had no problems with the site other than being able to park our vehicle with our camper. Staff was responsive with any and all requests. We loved the campground and will definitely stay again.

Very friendly person working the desk! Made the check in super quick and easy. Wish the entire loop was all paved so you didn’t have to walk through the mud when walking the dogs but the rv sites are paved and very well maintained.

The young man that checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Well kept park with very nice amenities that is hard to find. The location was perfect for us.

Great walking path, nice BBQ fire pits, well lit. WiFi needs some improvement, but we did have good Verizon service.

Everything was wonderful EXCEPT we could not get on the WiFi the entire time. So No TV ! We were planning on streaming and was not possible !! We told the owner/ manager he said it could be that someone had turned something of and he would check it but never saw him do that and we never was able to get on ! Phone service was bad also ! Was very clean, and friendly !

We really like staying here as a quick getaway from Dallas. This is our 2nd time here. The sites are clean. The grounds are well maintained. The check-in is easy and the staff is very friendly. The Q & Brew restaurant was operating out of a tent after the fire but the food was great. We hope they are open and serving their brews next we come. We will definitely be back!

We were told this KOA had one slot left. The grounds we not even remotely close to full. Horrible location of our site compared to all the vacant ones. Office opens late, closes early. Staff was the most unfriendly KOA we stayed in.

We have been to this location several times always staying in premium sites facing pond.We were disappointed with the high grass and abundance of weeds on this visit as we had never seen that before. The sites are normally very tidy.There had been rain the day before but height of grass and weeds indicated mowing had not been recent. However we enjoyed our stay and will be back.Friendly staff.

Very well kept KOA. The sites had concrete pads and a grass area. Nice trial to walk the dogs on around the pond. The only thing that wasn’t nice is the air conditioner in the bathroom/shower house was way too cold.

Surprised that the BBQ place burned down and it isn't updated on the site. Was looking forward to the bar. This KOA had very good internet. We could not get free over the air channels to tune in..so, we watched netflicks on my tablet because there was no cable either. It was a very nice pond, site's were super clean, trash pickup and friendly folks in the office and the BBQ pit stand.

Very nice RV park. Beautiful, clean grounds. Easy pull through sites with plenty of room. A lot to offer on site.

I booked the large Conestoga wagon for my family. We got to spend two nights there and had a chance to explore Canton “trade days” that is right down the road. We have been trying to go camping every New Year's Eve for the last few years. The wagon we stayed in was number 1 and is the closest to the bathroom. It had a king size bed and two bunk beds. There was a heater inside, that worked well, even with freezing temperatures at night. We did take extra covers, but all beds had pillows covers and sheets. They also provided towels for 6 ppl. The bathroom was suppose to be only for the wagon guests, and had a code. We did see other people (not staying in the wagons) using the code and going in. Maybe because more ppl were actually using it, they were not maintained clean. There was trash overflowing. We noticed that it was picked up, but it got bad again pretty quickly. We had a great time there. The location of the wagons is in front of the pond, and is separated from the other camping spots. Very pretty. The resort offers many options for family activities and has a restaurant on site.
