Very nice! Beautiful facilities, concrete pads with easy hookups, WiFi, individual bathroom/showers, convenient for traveling but looks to be great for a longer stay. Rate was affordable in the winter. Would definitely stay again.

This is a nice, wide-open RV park. The staff is friendly, and the campground is perfectly located for our needs as we head east from Texas.

Great stay! We love the facility! Only bad thing, which was not their fault, was it was too muddy -- the weather had been rainy and icy several days before we arrived which caused all these issues. GREAT PLACE! I will be excited once the restaurant opens back up.

Long story short, the problem was at the electrical panel on the pole. The after-hours number was called and a maintenance man came and suggested we move to another site. By now it is dark and misting rain. He did get another breaker but feared changing it because water was standing in the area. My husband ended up installing it while I was sitting in the dark. Stressful!

Really 3.5. Nice park, but needs roadwork badly. Pavement stops and turns to mud. Our 42’ fifth wheel could not make the turn on the pad and buried up in mud. In fairness we were there during an ice storm and everything was a mess. Power went off three times. Called the emergency line to report the outage but no one answered and the recorder said voicemail was full.

We journey to East Texas several times a year and always stay at the Canton KOA. Simply put my wife likes it so we stay there.

Overall a nice campground but definitely needs to provide cable TV service. For being close to Dallas, TV reception is very poor.

We came in for a wedding and found our cabin to be just what we needed. Comfy bed. Coffee for the morning. Hot shower. Nice deck with view of the pond. Fire pit. Staff was very helpful at check in. We really enjoyed the stay

Came for a wedding, stayed in the tiny cabin home. Perfect for the night, do wish the bathroom barn door was a little more covering, but it was fine

We had a wonderful couple of days at the Canton KOA. The sites are well maintained and the pond is lovely for walking around. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I love to stay at the Canton KOA and always request The Coop; it's the perfect size for me and comfort for me. On this trip, The Coop was unavailable due to maintenance so the staff moved me to a larger cabin for the same nightly fee, C08 The Cozy Cabin, which much larger and surprisingly, just as cozy and comfortable feeling as The Coop but with much better views. Thank you! See you next trip!

The stay WAS awesome. It was quiet and beautiful. We had just come from a bad La Quinta experience in Albuquerque I'm sure you've all done that and we thought what the heck let's try a KOA cabin and we're glad we did. It's the first thing we look at now, I wish there were more of them.

Disappointed in the amenities in our cabin. No cups, dishes. Couch uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable. Overpriced for what was provided. Location was good. Parking right next to cabin was nice.

Just stayed overnight since passing through. Arrived late and welcome packet was in box as they informed me it would be. Shower was hot and clean. Nice campground! To bad it was winter!!

The cabin was very nice the beds were super comfortable. The overall facilities were clean and well maintained. The only suggestion that I would have is that for a deluxe cabin a TV would have been nice to have. I have stayed in basic camping cabins at other KOAs that have TVs. Other than that overall great experience

There were a lot of Pros and Cons with our stay. The grounds were very well maintained and the KOA had a lot to offer. However, the staff needs to work on their communication skills. Sometimes how you word something makes all the difference. Also, the staff did not know you had a dog park or community fire pits so the training could use some improvement.

Cement pad large and flat, easy pull through. Nice walking trail and ponds. Nice staff. Easy access. All in all a good park.

The prices are way to high And they have raised the rent 2 times in a year I don't understand the raising of the rent when the park is 75% empty all the time

No fault of the KOA we had some hard rain event. The site we were in had pad standing water pretty bad. Our problem was that we received no response when we ask for some help from maintenance to aide us in pushing some water off. Left a message- no response from management.

Great campground. We showed up after hours without a reservation and Really appreciated how the after hours registration worked. So smooth. There were a few roads within the campground that could use some fill but campsites and roads in front of sites were concrete and this was nice since there had been a lot of rain.

The camp grounds were nice, but We had no phone service no TV reception at all. We stayed 3 nights and first time very disappointed.

Park was quite and the concrete parking pads for our site was level. Some of the roads had lots of pot holes, but other than that we enjoyed our overnight stay. We would stay again if traveling through the area.

We had got there and another trailer was in our spot. Do not know if it was the cold weather but the Wi-Fi was not working as good as our last trip. We couldn’t get anything most of our stay. But it was a quiet peaceful stay and will visit again.

Good overall experience! Two areas for improvement, 1) pave the unpaved internal roads and fix the potholes 2) we could not get on the campground Wi-Fi the entire stay. The guy at registration told us on the way out that the Internet cannot support a full campground.

I booked the large Conestoga wagon for my family. We got to spend two nights there and had a chance to explore Canton “trade days” that is right down the road. We have been trying to go camping every New Year's Eve for the last few years. The wagon we stayed in was number 1 and is the closest to the bathroom. It had a king size bed and two bunk beds. There was a heater inside, that worked well, even with freezing temperatures at night. We did take extra covers, but all beds had pillows covers and sheets. They also provided towels for 6 ppl. The bathroom was suppose to be only for the wagon guests, and had a code. We did see other people (not staying in the wagons) using the code and going in. Maybe because more ppl were actually using it, they were not maintained clean. There was trash overflowing. We noticed that it was picked up, but it got bad again pretty quickly. We had a great time there. The location of the wagons is in front of the pond, and is separated from the other camping spots. Very pretty. The resort offers many options for family activities and has a restaurant on site.
