Very nice snack shop and pool The family that owns this KOA are very friendly and helpful . Would recommend a stay here. Close to Acadia National Park lots to do and see .

Loved the Deluxe Patio Site! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful and take great pride in their facility. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The entire staff/owners were very friendly and outgoing. Just made you feel at home and comfortable. The premium site was large, well equipped with nice furniture and fire ring. Enjoyed my reading time in the hanging swing at our site.

From the moment we arrived to the second we left. The owners couldn’t do enough. They are very friendly and willing to do above and beyond. The campground was the best that we had ever been too, Marlene and David are the nicest people along with the rest of staff. We differently will return to the campground again. Two Happy Camper’s

In and out. Stayed 1 night very accommodating in leaving a key etc. for after hours arrival. very clean, very nice people running the campground. Great job!

Bucksport/Fort Knox KOA is our favorite campground in Maine. Owners on site.Staff is pleasant and helpful. Continuously making improvements and updates.Responsive to needs. We absolutely will stay again if in the area.

Just the right size park, the family is out going loving fun people. They will bring you camp wood to your site, they keep the bathhouse and pool clean. The new glamming tent.. adorable… and the new little bathhouse that was just installed. Perfection…so convenient for the tenters! Just a wonderful place to spend a week, located between rockland and Arcadia.

We had a wonderful time. The campground and facilities were clean and well kept up. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this campground!

One of the best KOA locations we have ever stayed. The staff was top notch. The layout was camping friendly. The utilities and cleanliness sets a standard for other locations.

Owners and.staff are welcoming and are constantly making improvements to an already very nice facility. Location is perfect for exploring Maine's gorgeous mid-coast.

Great family run campground. We had a nice stay, the staff is was friendly and helpful. They have a nice food shack with ice cream and pizza ( the pizza was very good ). Nice size pool.

Fantastic place!!! Super nice owner/workers/campers. Can’t say enough nice about this place. Small but extremely nice. Wish we could have stayed longer.

XCelnt' customer service! We loved the location as it relates to Acadia and Easternmost Point (A little farther away, but perfect for a nice ride on the Harley!) All facilities were clean, well marked, and conveniently laid out. Only small issue was the dryness of the camp wood. Our neighbors had a difficult time lighting their fire (I kind of enjoyed watching them struggle). I thought it was fine

The extremely loud party music that played non-stop for 6+ hours made our stay unenjoyable. I can understand maybe for 2-3 hours but 6+ hours was excessive and it was extremely loud. We came for relaxation and calm, and this experience ruined our first night at the campground.

We are sorry you didn't notice our activities calendar online. Quiet hours are from 10pm till 8 am and the music was off by 9:30 pm. We are a very quiet family campground and pride ourselves on that fact. Many families enjoyed the music and dancing. It was a great family time. Happy camping.

So clean and so quiet. A very special place. Staff was helpful, kind and thoughtful. There were so many extra touches. We were not given directions to our lot.... WE WERE PERSONALLY ESCORTED!! We thought that was so nice. We arrived in our motorhome and simply had to follow the golf cart. We received a goody bag with water and cookies. Our stay was perfect. We will go back.

We are very happy with the KOA in Bucksport. The owners are always friendly and helpful..The campgrounds are clean and well maintained. Marlene and Dave go the extra step to keep this a happy place to vacation.

Outstanding Fall experience! David and Marlene were fantastic. So friendly and fun and went out of their way to make it special for us! We had a great site and it was right at the tail end of their season! The leaves are beautiful and it's just a fun place to be!

Campgrounds were great. Clean well kept. Actually gave us a welcoming gift when we checked in which is unheard of. Gentleman that parked us extremely helpful. They should have a 10but only given 1-5 to choose from.

One of the best KOA's I have been to. Beautiful campground, friendly hosts, incredibly well maintained. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was an awesome experience. Very nice, comfortable, and fun; the experience of tent camping with none of the challenges. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, refrigerator, propane grill, etc. The campground is in a great location relative to bar harbor and Acadia National park as well as other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting to go camping in Maine. Thanks David and Marlene!!
