We rented one night. The tent lots were great; loved that they had water and electric! Would def stay again�

It’s obvious that this is a well cared for campground. However, We were placed in a “tent space” with a small gravel area for our tent, approx. 20 feet from a noisy and highly traveled public road. We had reserved and paid for a 4 night stay. We left after our first night. Per the campground rules we were given no refund. This campground should be for large RV’s only.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. You told us you were leaving due to family issues! You did not request anything when making your stay online. We would have gladly moved you to our deluxe sites in the back had you told us. We do not know there is an issue if you don't tell us there is one!!

Nice camp ground. The only downside was road and construction noise.

Thanks for staying with us. Not sure what the road/construction noise was that you heard but it was not on park. You should have let us know and we could have put you on a tent site at the very end of the park for more quiet. We don't know there is an issue if you dont let us know. Happy camping.

Awesome staff, friendly and helpful. Location is great and sites are very nice - wood patio, table w/umbrella, chairs, fire pit!

Rules are in place to keep you and the rest of our guests safe. When you break them we let you know. I guess you just think breaking rules is acceptable. Safety is our top concern. And you were not tolerated. Happy camping!!!!

The staff was super kind and friendly nature. Stay was awesome. They served us warm, fresh chocolate chip cookies, they gave us a fun KOA reusable sack along with two waters. The restrooms were clean, and the showers were hot and delightful.

Clean, quiet campground close to Acadia National Park as well as restaurants in Bucksport. Definitely would stay again when visiting the area.

If I could award more than 10 points I would. Good directions and signage. Clean and updated facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of activities. Other campers and dogs happy too. Well stocked store. I plan to return.

Good location. Beautiful & gated secure campsite. Clean bathroom with music playing when the light's turned on. Pool opened late the day we checked out. Friendly community & impressive welcome bag.

Good communication before arrival, wonderful friendly owners. Nice tent site we had. Gift shops has quilting supplies and hosts quilt retreats several times a yera if that interests you. Snack bar has soft serve ice cream daily. Would return.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and everything was perfect. Most people don't realize that KOA has a very steep ranking system. A 5 and 10 is the only ranking that gives us a good grade, anything below gives us zeros. Thank you for the kind words and we hope to see you again.

Nice campsite with shelter area for cooking. However the camping site was to close to 22 site.

Staff (a family) was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Kampground was clean, bathrooms were in good shape. Pool was clearly cleaned of bugs often. We would definitely stay here again

Very friendly staff and family friendly. Pool and playground were big hits. We highly recommend the deluxe campsite if tent camping. There are more RV sites than tent sites.

Just the right size park, the family is out going loving fun people. They will bring you camp wood to your site, they keep the bathhouse and pool clean. The new glamming tent.. adorable… and the new little bathhouse that was just installed. Perfection…so convenient for the tenters! Just a wonderful place to spend a week, located between rockland and Arcadia.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. The facilities like the snack shack are very convenient. My electric/water tent site was the best I have stayed at so far. The location is wonderful with easy drives to the NP, Deer Isle, etc.

The campground was clean, well run, and quiet. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool, I enjoyed the hot showers and laundry facility. Highly recommend this campground

This is the best KOA we have ever stayed at! The staff is very friendly, they have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever been in at a campground, and there are nightly activities for everyone. My only regret is we couldn't stay there longer.

bunch of wild plants growing in our tent site 22A and looks like weed killer was sprayed on them, made it ugly. Because of this i had to move the fire pit to a cleaner section of the site. Next morning the resort attendant walk to us and started complaining about moving the fire pit. “I don’t know what made you think you can move fire pit” were his exact words. This was rude.

It is not rude and it is in the guidelines and common sense that you don't move a fire pit! You moved the pit as you decided to park your vehical on the landscaped tent pad! Another common sense thing NOT to do! Don't blame the host because you got caught having NO camping etiquette whatsoever!!!!!

Campsite 22 - oh my goodness....what a wonderful place Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA is. Friendly and accommodating staff, nice laundry facilities, and the bath house is exceptionally clean. If we ever head back their direction...we will stay there. TN Travelers

Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Guests did not make noise. The only unfortunate issue was truck noise from nearby US 1. That's probably not an issue for RVs, but it's significant for tenters.

Outstanding Fall experience! David and Marlene were fantastic. So friendly and fun and went out of their way to make it special for us! We had a great site and it was right at the tail end of their season! The leaves are beautiful and it's just a fun place to be!

Campgrounds were great. Clean well kept. Actually gave us a welcoming gift when we checked in which is unheard of. Gentleman that parked us extremely helpful. They should have a 10but only given 1-5 to choose from.

One of the best KOA's I have been to. Beautiful campground, friendly hosts, incredibly well maintained. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was an awesome experience. Very nice, comfortable, and fun; the experience of tent camping with none of the challenges. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, refrigerator, propane grill, etc. The campground is in a great location relative to bar harbor and Acadia National park as well as other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting to go camping in Maine. Thanks David and Marlene!!
