Great customer service at the Billings, Montana KOA. We arrived after hours, and our paperwork was ready for late-night check-in, which made everything easy and stress-free. We stayed in the tent site with water and electric. Site is big and close to the bathrooms. Some of the restrooms very dirty and no toilet paper when we arrived around 5pm. Shower rooms ok but the light turned off while you’re in the shower. You’ll need to stick out your arm and wave to activate the sensor. Kind of annoying. Not the best KOA I stayed in because of the restrooms.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, on our way to Wyoming and South Dakota and a 2nd on our way back. The campground was really easy to find, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the campground was clean and the bathrooms were really nice. Loved that you have a miniature golf course there.

Lovely grounds, many amenities. The restrooms were not well kept and the laundryroom was locked when the brochure indicated it should be open. The grounds are unsupervised btwn the hours of 5pm-9am, which became a problem when a family allowed their 3 dogs to roam the property without leashes and the dog owner yelling, for one of those dogs at 7:30am, to come back. Not my best KOA experience.

The drunks at 2am were ridiculous. I'm grateful someone dealt with them and they got quit. Everything else was wonderful. The Autumn party seemed like everyone enjoyed it. The extra parking seemed to be an issue and extremely unorganized. I let a couple with little ones with strollers park in my space since they were struggling finding a place to park. Very cute couple.

Enjoyed the miniature golf. The cost to do laundry was very reasonable. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Nice grassy area next to our site.

Hey we have been coming to the Billings KOA at least once a year. We have always had a good time, but this last time we couldn't get the light and electric services working at our tent campsite and we specifically pay for that campsite to be able to use them. Please fix it.

Great location of I-90 for ease of arrival and departure, and a short local drive to downtown restaurant. The sites are on the bank of the yellowstones river with no traffic noises.

We got a level 10 site which was a bonus. However there was quite a walk to go to a restroom. I'm surprised by that because generally when you're in a tent restrooms are pretty close to walk to since you have no facilities to use. That was an inconvenience for us. The park seemed pretty nice and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and welcoming when I checked in which was a bonus.

I love the campground. I wish I had more time to stay and visit the different things they offer like the mini golf and the pool. The bathrooms were clean and cool. Since I have a small trailer, I was offered a tent site that was all grassy and wonderful.

It is apparent this KOA is geared for the big RV's. We were in a tent site (outer edge) while the big RV's are in the middle with the best sites and amenities (better picnic tables, shade trees and umbrella's). Most RV'ers have these amenities themselves where tent campers don't. Spread the wealth. The cooking/cleaning gazebo was "Out of order" and the bathrooms were over crowded with RV users.

Check in was extremely smooth and simple. Disappointing that the camping areas are cramped and headlights into our tent were a constant. Love that it is family friendly and pet friendly. Amenities are nice but not very welcoming for adult use. Showers and bathrooms were kept as clean as possible but often used as teen lounges until well after 1am. If camping with kids, this is a place for you.

We had a wonderful stay. Got a premium tent site which had personal access to electricity and water which was a necessity for our needs. The campground is quiet and definately relaxing.

Bees. When staff were alerted, they said it would be addressed - 2 hours later we were still unable to get into our vehicle as the bees had swarmed it. I alerted staff again and was told they couldn't do anything. My kids didn't get to swim because we couldn't get their suits from the car. I got stung twice. Woke up with fire ants all over. Kamp Kitchen not functional. We camp a lot. Worst ever!

This KOA is one of the best for small kids. The whole setup is well designed. The pool, playground, and umbrella tables are all nearby, allowing parents to sit and watch over both areas at the same time.

We overall had a wonderful weekend. I only have two complaints. 1) the amount of bees was crazy! I’m talking hundreds of bees we had to fight off everyday. 2) we went to use the bathroom around 9pm and none of the bathrooms had toilet paper. When we told an employee they said they were leaving for the day and no one would restock it till the morning leaving everyone without for the night.

Stopped for one night. Have stayed at many KOA's nationwide. This KOA is definitely starting to show its age. It's definitely more for families with kids, many things for the kids to play and do. The Bar B que on site was also very good. They staff at the front desk were externally nice. With that said, they unisex bathroom with kids coming in and out were less than clean. The trash dumpsters were overflowing with trash. The rules and polices appear to be more of a suggestion, many dogs off leach and kids running through our campsite. If your a light sleeper bring ear plugs, the HWY, Airport and 3:30 am train can be an issue. Glad we only were passing trough.

America's first KOA. They do it right! Staff is super helpful and very friendly. Great campsites. Level and services work perfectly. The dog park was a huge plus for our pup to let of some steam from a long road trip. Great campground!

The people in the store and check in are super nice. The staff is very helpful and respectful. The campground is well taken care of. Very nice place to stay.
