This was one of the most beautiful KOA's we stayed at on our trip. We only stayed overnight but I wish we had more time there. The dog park was amazing, it was big enough for us to throw a ball and play fetch with our rambunctious Labradoodle. The showers were nice, the store was great the privacy and spacing between sites was perfect.

Great staff and beautiful property with lots to do with your family. Prices are a bit high - $77 for one night but all in all a great experience.

It was a very crowded night. We were set right next to the miniature golf and just by the office. It was very very busy. There were a few loud kids but later on it was quiet enough. We choose KOA because they are wooded. Not this place. We loved the KOA in Deadwood.

This was one of the best campgrounds we've stayed in. The facilities were very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were plenty of things to do, including walking along the Yellowstone River.

This is our 3rd stay at this location and it was just as impressive as our first stay almost a decade ago. Beautiful facility and wonderful people

Great spot! The RV spots are fantastic with more than you need for a great stay. Incredibly clean and the staff is always helpful. The facility is great with the pool, mini golf, and a playground for kids. It is also incredibly quiet and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their facility. We will definitely be back and will tell all of our friends going through Billings to stay here!

Just an overnight stay. Staff was extremely friendly and energetic. Apparently, this is a family-owned park. It is well maintained and clean. There is no cable, it is setup for streaming television. There is a good steak house almost next door and another one about a mile down the road. Also, there is Crazy Woman Valley drive.

There was more to do with the pool, mini golf. We appreciated the large dog area and the paved roads to ride our bikes around the park with our dogs. It is one of the nicest KOA we have ever stayed in.

First site was too short for trailer and tow vehicle. Second site was back in and not much better. Staff made a big deal of having to move us to a more appropriate site, telling us we had to unhook even though we were only staying one night and leaving early. Dump station closed. Had to use another site to dump. Sheriff showed up to deal with some bad actors. Just not a stellar experience.

New bathroom locks require a code be entered. There are no lights above the door so you can't see the keypad in the middle of the night. Aside from that, restrooms were clean and the locks likely kept non-customers out protecting patrons.

Our site was not worth the $$ we paid for it since there was not much room for our trailer and tow vehicle. On top of that, our electrical cord kept falling out of the camp 30 Amp plug. Still, the camp amenities made up for those shortfalls.

Excellent. This was not our first time here so we knew what to anticipate. The site was clean and ready for us. The escort, however, didn’t get off the cart to speak (I typically expect some friendly contact even if through the window of our motorhome). Since this is not an OAK location, I was expecting that. My wife, however, said that her visits to the office were friendly and welcoming.

The site was very narrow and too short for rig, even though we had given the dimentions when we made the reservation. We had to move the swing to be able to open our door. The park gave us a claustrophobic feeling--too many sites for the size of the property.

Overpriced, as all KOA campgrounds are. Was told full hookups but no sewer hookup. Because no sewer hookup and dump station not working, had to go to an empty site with sewer to dump. Website said last site, lots of sites available. Tired of misleading information on website.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Just wish the cost wasn't so high. Making it harder for retired people on fixed income to continue RVING with higher fees and fuel costs.

Bathrooms & shower rooms very clean. Dog park one of the nicest anywhere. Camp sites are clean & spacious. Could use a little more gravel in numerous sites.

This KOA is not big rig (Class A Motorhome - 45’) friendly! Everything is extremely narrow, plus the KOA was full, which made it a challenge to maneuver the park. Could not get into our site! Left and stayed in the Cabela’s parking lot.

Perfect weekend for bringing the preschool granddaughters on an adventure close to home (we live in Billings). All the fun of a KOA experience with a playground, pool, mini golf, and even evening ice cream. Looking forward to next season when they will be bigger and the trek to the river will be added to our activities. We appreciated the alternative "dumping" situation provided by staff.

Camping here at the 1st KOA in the world in 1962. Passing thru for one night. Nice park as most KOAs are. It's next to Yellowstone River. They have playground, mini golf, pool, laundry, nice showers & restroom. Sites seem pretty level. Not all sites have a grill.
