Quiet night, grandchildren love the playground and pool. When we had a maintenance issue the workers came and fixed it there was not a long wait.

I was really disappointed. I have stayed at other KOA‘s and always had a positive experience.Here the pool was cold and dirty, there were cobwebs all throughout our cabin, the light on the fan was full of bugs in the bulb-they took up the bottom of the bulb. The second room had no air or fan, which provided zero cooling on a very hot day. The bathrooms were clean, but the smell was awful.

CG is beautiful with lots of amenities, just DO NOT get site #28. It is very narrow, our awning was about 2' from the rig next to us, dump station was 10' from our door (not pleasant when they were duming the facility dump tank) and it was to be a pull thru. We probably could have gotten our 41' 5er thru but didn't feel safe with tree at end of site and rigs across the street. CG good, site not

We only stayed one night, but this is a really nice campground. Very well maintained, nice sites, lots of amenities. It shows that the owners take great pride in their campground and in providing an excellent camping experience. On a future visit we'll plan a longer stay.

This campground has a theft issue. A simple warning at check in- ‘we have a theft issue we are working to resolve, please make sure your property is extra secure’ would cost the campground nothing. Instead that omission cost us nearly $700. After the fact, staff admitted to us that it’s an issue. This is a beautiful, well kept campground with friendly, attentive staff. Take care of your cam

The cabins are cute but the beds are pretty awful. Mattresses are so thin i could feel bed frame. For $120 it should have a decent mattress at least. And also, $9 for a small bundle of wood is highway robbery!!!! Other amenities are good tho, pool, mini golf etc.

Great campground with a couple of issues. One of the shower buildings had a terrible sewer smell. The main building shower area was busy and messy/dirty. I think people used the toilets in the showers because the others smelled like a pit toilet, which led to the showers being constantly occupied. Additionally, the camp kitchen area was closed off and looked like it hadn't been usable in years.

We loved everything about this place, except they wouldn’t allow late check out. My husband missed my son’s last game because he had to go check out. If we knew in time we would’ve just purchased another night.

I think the campground has some sort of sewer backup. The entire campground smelled like sulfur. The showers did not have hot water.

We entered 36ft travel trailer when booking. We were put in one of the smallest “deluxe patio” sites in the campground. Grass was dead, plants and shrubs dying or dead. Mini golf course in disrepair, dirty, and water features not functioning. This place was so great 3 years ago! Disappointing

Love everything about this KOA. The dog park was amazing and the bathrooms were super clean! The only problems we had was the campsites being really close together and being given no picnic table.

Very nice campground and very friendly staff. Only stayed overnight so couldn't tell much else. Wish we could have stayed longer as there was a super dog park and nice mini golf plus other fun activities.

We were only there for a night, but wished we could stay longer. The staff was very friendly and informative. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

When we made our reservation a week in advance our credit card was charged $157.68. When we checked in for our stay I was asked if I wanted a receipt and said,Yes, please.” My receipt said my stay was $146.00. Not sure why I was charged a higher amount??? Overall our stay was great!

The staff was friendly and the campground was clean and well maintained. Dropped off of 10 because the spacing in the fire pits for the grilling is way too high. Hard to cook over properly. Also the breakfast is a nice idea to aid those leaving from dealing with making breakfast before leaving. Problem was, the fruit was moldy and the pancakes were crispy like potato chips.

World's 1st KOA what a nice place! This is by far the best dog KOA patio we've seen at a KOA. Super friendly LOTS of nice shaded trees which helped on that very hot day when we arriveed. loved their premium koa patio with red concrete pad. Wish we could have stayed an extra day but we had to keep traveling would recommend.

It was clean, people and staff friendly, love that they showed us our spot by following them to the site. A yearling deer would come out to say hi. Lots of activities for kids and families. We would come again!

The staff and amenities were great! The only negative was we went to get ice cream when it said it was open until 7, at 6:50 the team member was already cleaning and said "we are already done". If the staff is instructed or not allowed to serve until 7, the time should not read 7. (Made for a sad kiddo)

Location is close to Downtown, very nice area, trees and shadow for the tends, no hot water for coking or dishes found, restrooms have full equipped individual cabins (which smell a little). Very nice Minigolf area, worth to spend more time there.

It started not so good. Camper next to us had sewage leak. I kept breathing this awful smell now and then. There were flys galore around our area. The maintenance man Ricky Martin went and got a lawn spray and hanging fly traps which solved that problem. He also covered the sewage with dirt. Bathrooms were clean , also laundry room was clean.

Our space was at the end next to an empty lot that they removed and people walked thru our space the entire time as if it were the path to the bathrooms. Signs need to be put up not to walk thru someone's campground. Designated paths need to be created with signs for this reason. It's common sense not to walk thru peoples campground and unfortunately our space was invaded the entire 3 days there.

Was jammed into a spot that was supposed to be pull thru. Staff came out to make sure I fit twice. I fit of i did not unhook. If I unhooked I would have to park my truck I. Overflow parking. Only way to get out with the rig was to back out the way I came or pull into the tent camping area and then back out of that. WORST KOA I have ever seen. Staff at front desk was rude and of no help. Bye KOA!!!

As I was traveling back from Skagway, heading towards Illinois, with stops in between, I wanted to do a bit of tent camping. I called from 2 hours away, and even tho the camp was filling up, the lady on the phone was so nice and we decided I would just swing in when I got there and see what was available. I got a nice spot, impressed with the bathrooms, and activities going on.

We had a great time here from the moment we checked in. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The facilities were clean with lots of amenities. We took advantage of mini golf and the laundry. We were here on work meeting so did not get to swim. We would certainly stay here again!!

Camp site was clean, KOA staff was friendly and war, camp store was great, dog park was excellent. Pool looked fun but we did not partake. Showers and bathrooms were great.

Stopped for one night. Have stayed at many KOA's nationwide. This KOA is definitely starting to show its age. It's definitely more for families with kids, many things for the kids to play and do. The Bar B que on site was also very good. They staff at the front desk were externally nice. With that said, they unisex bathroom with kids coming in and out were less than clean. The trash dumpsters were overflowing with trash. The rules and polices appear to be more of a suggestion, many dogs off leach and kids running through our campsite. If your a light sleeper bring ear plugs, the HWY, Airport and 3:30 am train can be an issue. Glad we only were passing trough.

America's first KOA. They do it right! Staff is super helpful and very friendly. Great campsites. Level and services work perfectly. The dog park was a huge plus for our pup to let of some steam from a long road trip. Great campground!

The people in the store and check in are super nice. The staff is very helpful and respectful. The campground is well taken care of. Very nice place to stay.
