We have been coming here for almost 20 years. Now off road vehicles are allowed on site so it’s more noisy, which I can live with, but not after 11 pm. I find that behave rude and inconsiderate. The bathrooms used to be a lot cleaner and we kept. I only say I would recommend this KAO because it’s close to Calico. The lady at the front desk is very good.

We are repeating guest. Stay was as expected sites were large with plenty of room for ohv vehicles, pool was cold but it is the end of October wifi was great for our site.access to trails was great

A surprisingly great KOA in the middle of the dusty side of CA. We laid out, great separation of sites and it's obvious the owners are constantly making improvements. Additionally, the staff was awesome - friendly and helpful. A definite shoutout to the lady behind the counter and the gentleman who topped off our propane. Thanks very much!

The campground is very close to the hwy and you hear the traffic very well. Wifi was good.

Staff and services were great. The big downside is the ingress and egress to the R V spaces. If you are over 35 feet it can be a real problem. If the RV directly in front of me would not have moved first, I would have had to ask two people to move their vehicle. I was not the only person who had the same issue.

Besides 2 of 3 showers not working everything else was fine, I would go there again.

The park is nice, with plenty of shade trees which was a help in the hot weather there. Lots of spots to walk the dogs, with poop bags provided. Also a fenced in pet area. We did not use the bathroom facilities. The laundry room had multiple washers and dryers that were out of order. Only three working dryers, one which screeched and didn't dry well. Pleasant, helpful staff.

Easy straightforward check in. Well spaced maintained spots. Some noise from I-15 but bearable. Would stay at Barstow KOA again.

We stayed 14 nights in a monthly spot that was very private and had shade most of the day. Other than the road noise, which is to be expected when camping right along side a freeway, the campground was quiet and clean. We had our grandkids come spend several nights with us and they really enjoyed the hammocks and the pool. The office staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is the best place to stay between San Diego and Las Vegas. Easy to get to - near gas & restaurants. Not so fancy, but has everything you need. Look for the train Caboose. Friendly people running the park.

Not a single thing was missed! We rented the deluxe cabin for 5 people and 2 nights. The staff was diligent from the beginning with a checklist to make sure lights, air conditioning, fan, and running water worked. We had plenty of t.p. and they delivered a fire ring via golf cart to our campsite. Our microwave was clean, we had clean mugs for K-cup coffee in the morning. High recommendations!

We use it as a one night stop over normally. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is also nice to be able to walk through the desert.

We have stayed in many KOA. For the price it was okay. Men's bath room had out of order sign on 2 of 3 toilet and shower stalls the entire 3 days we were there. You could hear I-15 from our location. We will most likely stay at the Ghost Town Campground next time, their prices are better and much further from the freeway

Great location! Very nice campground. Office is stocked well. Camp site is pull thru and very clean! Great campground! Dale was so helpful! We are grateful to him. We had trouble with our truck getting stuck and Dale was so kind and helped!

Large pull in sites. Clean and quiet park. Close to Calico Ghost Town and off road 4x4 park. Easy on and off the Freeway. Motorhomes can be re-fueled just up the road.
