We love the adult section! Very clean with great BBQ's, firepit with grate, tables with chairs (not a picnic bench), level concrete pads and trees for shade. We keep coming back. Yesterday, we had an issue airing up our coach when it was time to leave (11:00 am). I called the office to inform them that we had an issue and they were very understanding of our situation. No additional fees!

It was fantastic! The park was clean, it had lots of amenities and activities happening for the kids, a little cantine that sold things like pizza, nachos, and ice cream and a store the sold some essentials and little kids toys, etc.

This wasn't our first stay at Barrie KOA, and it will not be our last. We stay in the Cedar Creek adults only section of the park and love how quiet and peaceful it is. Incredibly attentive and friendly staff with all the amenities you need. Perfectly level sites with clean and fully functional hook ups. Just 15 minutes from Barrie should you want to venture out and see the waterfront. A+++

My family rents a cabin every year for one of the Halloween weekends and we have an absolute blast! Year after year we have family join in the fun and are now up to around around 20 people spread out acorss the campsite. The kids love the park, the activities and especially the Halloween candy. They love showing off their costumes to hopefully win a prize. Highly recommend!

Newly discovered beautiful campground in our back yard. We have stayed in many thru the years and this one is rated very high. One does not need to go far to find excellence.

Just a quick stop on the way to storage. Always feel comfortable at this KOA. Always has everything I need. We’ll be back in the spring for a longer stay.

We were only able to stay one night in June as we travelled westward to Saskatchewan. We liked it so much we stayed again on our way home in September.

We always enjoy our stays at the Barrie KOA. This was the Halloween weekend which we have attended for many years. This year there were some changes made that changes the feel of the weekend and were not communicated well. 1. No pumpkin carving contest. 2. The change in the costume contest from having photos taken to an actual contest. 3. Early trick or treating made the wk end early

Great stay. Absolutely surprised at all the features (wood delivered to site, garbage pick up, well stocked store). Will definitely come back and stay at other KOA locations.

I loved the location, but your internet service is terrible. I am new to trailering, so i haven't stayed at many KOA sites, but the ones I have stayed at had excellent internet service. On raining nights there were no issues watching movies, etc. At your location I couldn't even read news apps until after 10pm. And even then I had constant interruptions down loading the content. Its 2024 not 1924!

We love the Halloween weekends at Barrie KOA. We camp with three-four other families and this is typically the way that we all wrap up our camping season. The staff, service and cleanliness of the park are second to none. The kids (big and small) appreciate all of the hard work, planning and effort that goes into making the 'spooktacular' Halloween fun! Well done Barrie KOA crew!

This was our 3rd Halloween camping and really enjoyed costume contest a pumpkin carving, and haunted house. What I was disappointed about was the Friday night movie was turned on, while it was playing bigger kids were running thru jumping on picnic tables and yelling, my grandkids were scared. The Saturday craft was too short and kind of lame in my opinion. I did not book to come back next year.

We didn't quite enjoy our Halloween as much as previous years however due to the lengthy costume contest at Prentice Hall and the long lineups with limited seating. We also really missed the lack of picture taking as this was the highlight of our efforts The park device was excellent as always otherwise.

Grounds are well maintained; environment is relaxed and quiet. Major issue is that the WIFI needs work. Many people, seasonal or transient, still have to work and therefore rely heavily on WIFI and cellular; neither of these services work well. Please consider installing more WIFI signal boosters around the adults only campground especially.

We love everything that went on and better this year. We love the way they showed everyone’s costumes under the big patio. The only thing we would very much like is for the pool to be opened. Why not closing the pool on the 1 st of October? Beside that, everything was good. Thank you for everything

Updated on May 5, 2025. We just returned from our third stay at the KOA Barrie. Once again, we found a very well-maintained and full-service campground near Toronto. The campground is safe, well-groomed, and the staff is always willing to help. We absolutely love the KOA Barrie, and I strongly recommend it.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Lower section sites are a good size but you are close to neighbours. Very quiet at night. Pizza was descent. ice awesome. Lots of space and activates for kids. Have been here several times this summer at different sites. Full hookup sites in the pines are a larger size. A little on the sandy side. Pools are a good size. Lost the kids for the weekend and stayed in cedarwood country adults only area. Oh very nice nice washrooms and shower and lounge area. Perfect spot for a big rig. Update. Finished our first season and have committed to next year. Photo of next year's spot can wait.
