Perfect location and perfect site

I stayed two days in a tent site. I needed a rest and this park was what I needed. Great staff and close to Acadia National Park so it was the perfect spot for me to see the park and to relax.

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Very clean and well kept. If only the wash sink by the bathroom would actually have hot water. Otherwise great stay.

Campground is well kept but their system is absurd. Physically called to book two tent sites next to each other. Went thru the whole booking process on the phone. Upon arrival, our sites were opposite ends of the campground only to be told we were supposed to pay $50 per site to “lock in” the sites. FYI that does not go towards your deposit. Truly just not like it used to be, and may not retur

It was an excellent 5 day stay in a tent, little pricey, but other than that it was beautiful. I loved you could call and wood or ice or anything that you requested would be delivered����� the only thing I would recommend is the solar lights that are at the end of each campsite they don’t all work but mine did� would help if you have to get up in the middle of the night .

Our stay was short, but easily accommodated! We didn't arrive until 10:30pm and getting into the campground and to our site was fairly easy. The only recommendation I have is to add more signage at the opening of the actual campground because we drove past it many times and down the side road. Other than that, our stay was great!

Beautiful campsite! Hospitable and friendly staff. We messed up our checkout date and they were very understanding with us. We really appreciate the time we got to spend at the Bar Harbor KOA!

For a Holiday KOA, I found it somewhat below standard. I found the site pricy for what you get for a tent sites. Very rough terrain and difficult to park. The shower facility was in disrepair repair. The location and text service was excellent, but I have stayed in far superior holiday KOAs for a lot less. The location and convenience next to the park, drives the price not the campground itself.

Stay was great. The kids had a blast with the activities. Fire/ice delivery was great as the store was on the opposite side of the campground from us. Checkin was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the size of the site that we got. Seemed as though it was the smallest of the ones in our area and we struggled with two tents and two cars (but we made it work!!).

It’s was great! The facilities were clean and easy to get to. Very pet friendly and the staff were very helpful and friendly as well. We will be staying again.

The site was very uneven, rocky and too small for a family of 4. Site 424 was way too close to the road/parking area. Other visitors frequently backed up their vehicles into our site to get out of the parking spots creating a dangerous situation for my two round children. The site was not raked to remove broken glass, plastic pieces' and other small trash. Very disappointing with a $90/night cost.

We prefer campgrounds with privacy/trees, but understand this campground caters more to RV’s. Still disappointing to see clearcut land with very little tree canopy outside of the small tented site area. Tent sites too close together, we were kept awake 9-11pm with a large family arriving in the dark to set up. (They were very nice.) Would be great if ocean sites had a path for access to swim.

The staff and services are very responsive. Staff will deliver wood or pick up garbage at your site. Bathroom and showers are clean and modern. The sites are very expensive and crammed together. There is little or no privacy.

Bathroom not always clean and no activity for young adults nor music of any entertainment! Food and firewood way to high when you can buy across the street for $5.00! The view was nice though. I think overall the camp site is priced to expensive! I felt bad that my children didn’t have anything to do while staying here.

Our stay at the Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA was incredible! From the delivery of ice and wood, the kid activities, the Lobster Trap Cafe, the train rides around the park, it was nothing short of spectacular! Waking up to the smells, sounds, and views of the ocean was breathtaking. We would highly recommend!

We had horrible customer service by the three women at the desk on 7/20/25. Large branch broke off over our tent (that happens, I understand) and the women at the desk laughed at us, called it the widow maker, belittled us and refused to even move our firewood. There were cabins available and they refused bc of the 2 night req.Incredibly rude, you lost a loyal customer.Manager did help eventually.

KOA Oceanside was the perfect place to stay on our trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia! It was only about a 20 minute drive to downtown and the parks. Everything was clean, staff was super friendly, and it didn’t feel crammed. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was fantastic the employees are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. One of the showers in the big bath needs to be addressed - stall #8 - the water was cold and the drain stunk and I dropped my towel. I moved to another shower that was hot but the stink of the drain in 8 was unbearable.

Very convenient and close for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We go there every year with a very large group of friends. They all had the same feedback: the staff is very welcoming , very easy/simple to checkin. Wonderful and clean facilities. It is the best of the best, thanks to Michael the manager and his staff, they always make our stay magic, and very memorable. We love it, and we will be back soon !!

This campground is awesome! Acadia was incredible, Bar Harbor was amazing, and this place puts you right in the middle of all the action. You're just minutes from Acadia National Park and minutes from town, which makes it super convenient for exploring everything in the area. The service and people here are top notch—friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning. I would 100% recommend this campground to anyone visiting Acadia or Bar Harbor
