Perfect family camping trip! Location, amenities and staff were all superb! Our 3 year old daughter absolutely loved the train rides and we made memories to last a lifetime! Thank you!

The campground was clean and the staff very accommodating. We were prepared for rain and fared just fine. Our only issue is that tent site 375 had no sand/gravel/grass pad for our tent. The entire site was dirt and roots. That matters when you know you will be packing up in the rain and mud. Campers who like to tent appreciate those details.

Not great for tenting unless you get one of the few sites by the edge of the campground. Noisy and hot otherwise.

The setting was beautiful on the bay. I loved watching the sunsets at the harbor with my son. He enjoyed picking for crabs in the tide pools and watching seals swim by. The Wi-Fi, cafe, and deliveries of ice and firewood right to our site made it very convenient. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff!

Tent site had a nice level , even ,sand gravel space. Neighbor were too close, no privacy. Bathrooms/showers were very clean.

This is our second stay at Bar Harbor. Our first experience was amazing. We enjoyed it so much that this time we brought our friends along. However, when we arrived we were placed between cabins in site 421. Why is this even a site? In all the communication with this KOA I thought we would be in our previous site down near the water. It was awful, staff were not helpful, and we were kept up!

Facilities were clean. Sites were nice. Staff was amazing. We've camped all over and this was the best staff we've ever come across. We especially loved the lady who runs the lobster cafe.

Our 1 night stay experience was an absolute nightmare. The tent site 424 is located right beside a parking lot, which is a busy area during the day and night. When we were sleeping in the tent, many people trespassed our campsite, pointing their flashlights at our tent. I didn't have the change to confront them as they didn't stay long so I'm not sure what they were doing. It's totally horrible.

The ocean sites are where it’s at! I do not recommend the other tent sites- very small and limited shades. Beautiful landscape and views.

Beautiful tent site with water views! Site wasn’t very level but it was big and the water view made it so much more worth it! Staff was very nice! Bathrooms were hot but very clean as well as grounds and showers. Cute things in the store to purchase with all the essentials. We would recommend and return again especially recommend for those with pop ups or campers.

Everything was great except we rented bikes for a couple hours for my 3 kids, paid $90 and walked to the store for laundry soawith one of my kids following. I was scolded loudly by a staff member for being on the short stretch of main road. We were not told any area was off limits. I am a rule follower and would not have let my daughter ride with me while I walked had I known. Kindness goes far.

Good facility with tremendous views. Great customer service with delivery of goods to our site by staff from their store free of charge. Half of the laundry machines were o.o.s. Although we improvised, we got what seemed to be the only site not suitable for parking our motorcycles. Showers were tiny compared to other KOAs we’ve stayed at on this trip. Food trailer on site was a bonus.

Briefly misplaced our kiddos (they decided to leave playground and go to tide pools) and the staff were quick to help and get a text out to entire campground. Facilities were clean. Activities were fun. Store had everything we needed. Love KOAs and this one did not disappoint.

Every staff member worked hard, was accommodating, and pleasant. The facilities were nice, the extra bathrooms were appreciated and very well maintained, and the overall location was outstanding to explore the Acadia National Park area. I hope to be back soon.

Everyone went above and beyond. Clean facilities, ocean view, close to Acadia. We were planning to stay a single night we ended up spending three nights here

We have stayed at Bar Harbor KOA for years, and found it not as good this year. Our site was very dirty when we arrived, with raw eggs under the table and food on the picnic table. There were spiders in the showers. People bring their dogs into the bathrooms and leave them loose in there.A dog at the pancake breakfast that put its face on my table.Camp store has been rearranged, not as good .

The experience was great, staff is super friendly. The only negative experience is we had a lot of campers cutting thru our campsite to get to the oceanfront, and not using the public access areas. This was definitely disturbing to our experience.

The staff is very nice. I wish the playground was nicer And the activities were not so expensive. We paid extra for one of the water front camp sites but it was not actually water front (406) the site along the road by the store have much more shore access and water view the. 406 does. Very disappointing

Best campsite ever! Bar harbor and Acadia NP were amazing. After a week at this KOA I wish that I had stayed for another week… at least! The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had rented this as part of our wedding trip. We were originally going to be bringing our elderly dog Shadow, but unfortunately, she passed mid-July. In our grief we had forgotten to update our booking. We booked cabin 808, and when we arrived, we saw the dog bowls and mat laid out, and it hit us again, but in a good way. We've NEVER had an accommodation prepare for our dog. The cabin was spectacular and we had an Oceanview. It was so clean and neat and had everything you could ever want. The fridge was cold, there was a nice King Sized bed and two bunk beds in the second room with bedding should you want to use it. There was a nice deck out front and a private one attached to the primary room. With a grill and everything in the house, we wished we had stayed longer! The service was TOP NOTCH. My husband had left his prescription glasses there and we called and they said if we would email them a shipping label, they would ensure they got back to us. Well they did and I can't say enough about that! We did laundry the first night we were there and the machines were well cared for and worked fantastic. All in all, we will book this again and again!

Very nice campground on the water very close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. We greatly enjoyed our stay here in September 2024.
