5,316,000 Lobsters are eaten in Bar Harbor every year. Shouldn't one of them be yours? We think so and so does Dakota the Lobster Dude... serving them up 7 nights a week. Learn how to "Eat Like a Local" steamed not boiled of course. Or pick fresh Mussels fresh from the shore. Steam them up with a little bit of garlic and Atlantic Brewery's Stout and dipped in butter. Yum! Recipes and steam pots are available at the store.
When it's time to explore the island, jump on the free shuttle from Bar Harbor KOA campground directly to Acadia National Park. When you get back to camp the fun doesn't end there. Join us for the planned activities for the young and the young at heart. Bring the kids to Central Park every Friday night for S'Mores or one of the many activities.
