Nice location and view on the ocean, about 30 minutes drive from hikes in Acadia Nat Park. Halloween activities looked very fun even though I didn’t have the time to participate. Tent sites are nice and cozy.

The campground is beautiful as far as the setting. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Planning on returning for another stay.

Yellow jacket nest next to the site was a real nuisance - 2 campers stung, unfortunately staff was limited in what they could do to help. Fantastic facility and kind employees.

Les toilettes étaient excessivement sales. La fan était pleine de poussière et de mouches ��� les cadres de porte étaient vraiment sale. Il y avait des pansements souillés sous le banc de la salle de bain. De plus, le couvre-feu n’est pas respecté par les autorités. Musique et crie jusqu’à 2:00 am!

Reserved a prime ocean site but the picture shown on the website was not the site we were assigned, which was deceiving. Could barely see the ocean from our site because of all the tree branches. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay. Restrooms and area for trash disposal were not too far away. Staff at check-in and the store were very friendly and welcoming.

It was great being by the ocean and the staff was great! Very well maintained. The only thing I would have said is missing is a pool.

The campground is great, we had site 406 which is huge, however 405 seems better since 406 is supposed to be oceanfront but far from the water. Lean-up kitchen and wifi are great to have. Bit expensive for camping though (150$/night).

Love that tent sites have both water and electric. Though I didnt use the service of delivery, I think its a nice feature. I did find your icecream to be expensive.

Good location, friendly staff. However, our tent site was located directly behind registration and was pretty terrible. It 200 ft away from a main road, which was noisy throughout the night, taking away from the camping experience. It was also a shared site with 2 sites placed on an open field with little to no privacy from any side. These site details were not communicated at booking

I didn’t know I needed a reservation to see the sunrise on Cadillac mountain. I went to the store wondering where else I could go because we really wanted to see it. A very kind employee gave me a business card for a woman who drives a shuttle bus up there. Also, there was a very helpful man who rode in the cart. Sometimes he had his dogs with him. He helped me with the buses and more.

We stayed for 2 nights and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The staff is friendly and we loved that there was always an activity available for the guests and children. We highly recommend this place and we’re definitely coming back.

Advertised a water front site. Did not get a waterfront site. Very small site surrounded by people. Not relaxing. Way to many children.

Loved or tent site and loved that there is water and electric on site .We were in 422. I would have liked to have been able to reserve a site before we got there. There were only 2 to chose from. There was a cabin next door and the dog had a long rope and came on our side of the fence to potty. The owner did clean it up, but was a jarring note. The staff was friendly and everything was clean.

We loved our stay at Bar Barber KOA. Customer service was excellent, the activities & amenities were great. We would come back for sure!

I’ve been coming here since it was Barcadia, and while I don’t like a lot of the “corporate” changes since the new ownership, it will always be the campground that I knew and loved as a child. I wish you could book out more than 11 months ahead, you used to be able to do a year at least.

Overall I love this place and have come back a couple times. However, I was disappointed in our site this time. I prepaid for an oceanview deluxe campsite. However, we were not truly oceanside, but had a view of a swampy marshland. Not nearly as pretty and more full of mosquitoes than an oceanside site would have been. Staff are great! Very fun for kids.

This place was awesome! The staff were really wonderful & I love that we could just text the front desk & get ice, fire wood, etc delivered right to our tent! Loved the live music & beer tasting feature one of the nights we were there as well, what a fun touch. Tent sites are cozy & close to the water. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our time at KOA Bar Harbor! Quick drive to Acadia and the people could not have been nicer! They had everything we needed and then some. We will definitely be booking for next summer!

Very accommodating. When we showed up in the middle of a rain storm, they were very welcoming and upgraded us to a cabin for the night so we didn't have to try and hang our hammocks in the rain, also found us nice wooded site that made hanging the hammocks really easy. Will definitely be back again.

Staff and accommodations were excellent. The camp and bath houses were clean and stocked. the only suggestion is more trees at group site 420 to battle the road noise. The radio in the bathroom is a nice simple touch to get the morning news from the local "Bear" country station.

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
