The best KOA we have stayed so far. We will definitely stay again! I absolutely love being on the rocks and watching the sunset. Staff are very helpful. What a perfect place to stay in Bar harbor, thank you so much!

Such a cool location! You are SO close to the park but have minimal traffic getting to and from. The cabins were very clean and well maintained. By FAR the cleanest camp bathrooms I have ever seen and the staff were extremely attentive and kind. We didn’t get a good sunset during our stay BUT there are great spots to catch one on a clear day!!

We’ve been camping before in a camper and had no idea what to expect from Maine or a cabin at KOA. We were so incredibly impressed! Everyone was so helpful and kind! When our son left his stuffed animal behind, they mailed it to us from our cabin!! We loved our stay and the island! Already planning our next visit to another KOA!!

First visit. Stayed in cabin, which was perfect for our family of 4 adults. KOA is well staffed with kind & helpful employees who enjoy their work! Our young adult kids said they’d have loved the activities & location when they were younger. Food purchased on site was delicious!

We stayed at one of the deluxe cabins. The shower was either burning hot or cold; the hair dryer didn't work; the TV didn't work and the WiFi was spotty, at best. We let the office know (the "text" feature went unanswered and we left a VM). Otherwise, it was pretty good. We've stayed there 3 times; this one was the most disappointing but they aren't "off our list."

Excellent accommodations very well maintained campground and an awesome food truck, which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be going back up there again!!

The campground overall was great; staff were friendly, the cafe was excellent and sold great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The only thing that was slightly negative was that the cabins were in a separate area, and the toilets there always had a line of people waiting.

Everything was exceptional. Yaniv, the maintenance guy, went above and beyond with all of our needs. He would come back to ask if we needed anything else. He was friendly and helpful along with the other staff members.

This campground offers activities for both adults and children - fun stuff. We found the staff pleasant, helpful and active in trying to maintain the grounds. Overall, a solid experience!

Lovely campground and nice folks. Nice cabins. Great store and food place and playground dog park and other facilities. Decent activities. Some major issues to work on: absolutely terrible water pressure, heated water, and drinking water quality. Satellite Tv was useless. Effectively no wifi at all and granted location: still abnormal for most koas.

I think the staff was nice and friendly. When going into the store it was a little irritating waiting so long when there were five employees standing around.. they had a great service as far as delivering items you purchased at the store. The bathrooms were nice and close to the rustic cabins. I was disappointed there was no pool. The ocean was beautiful, but it was cold.

Our stay was mostly wonderful, the view was great and the bathouse showers were worth going too. The main issue we had was new guests from NJ who checked in two sites down on July 4th were setting off what sounded and felt like m80s that shook our cabin until a little after 10 pm. A minor inconvenience was the lack of water pressure in the cabin but the bathouse showers were a good alternative.

We stayed in one of your Airstream campers. First experience. Very clean. Water pressure was hit or miss, so we didn't use the shower, but enough to wash face and brush teeth. We liked the quiet section of our site. And was overall surprised of quiet the whole campground was. We enjoyed riding our bikes and exploring the trails in Acadia including CM. Visited local businesses and Repatory Theatre.

I booked a deluxe cabin with 2 queen beds and 1.5 baths. I got a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin. When questioned I was told there was a disclaimer saying the cabin may not look exactly what I booked. It was false advertising no matter how you sum it up. Then I was told that campground does not have any 2 bed, 1.5 bath cabins. Really dishonest. I would not stay there again and would not recommend it.

The cabin was not what we expected from photos or descriptions. I don't think you should show cabin photos that are not on site. I would have rented a larger cabin if I knew the deluxe was what it actually was. You described a full kitchen, we had a dorm fridge and microwave. During my check-in three other people were angry about the same thing. Seems very dishonest of your company. Won't be back

We had a fantastic time. There were a couple of minor maintenance but, but they were dealt with almost immediately when they were reported. The staff was very on top of things and incredibly responsive to any requests or needs. The facilities were fantastic, and we will definitely be back. The style of cabin with the little bunk room was a fantastic fit for our family of five!

Very disappointing stay. Tent site description on the website is not accurate for the site we received. I actually upgraded to a camping cabin because of this when in reality I should have been offered some sort of refund for false advertising. Sites are too close together. The camp store was not stocked well. Overall experience was poor. Won’t return and won’t recommend.

We stayed in a deluxe Oceanside cabin. We did have some water pressure and a plumbing issue, however everything else was great! The facilities were clean and all the staff were super pleasant and accommodating! We will definitely be back when we come back to MDI.

We enjoyed our stay very much-the staff were all very courteous, the grounds were clean and well-kept and the views to the ocean were lovely. We enjoyed the Lobster Trap Cafe and wish we’d checked it out earlier in our stay. The lobster roll there was better than the ones I enjoyed at Abel’s or Thurston’s!

It was our 3rd year and we will be back! The staff were super friendly and very responsive. Quickly took care of our requests such as a leaky heating/cooling unit and firewood. The floors of our cabin weren’t the cleanest and the WiFi was really not useable. However, the cabin was VERY comfortable for us and the family. Such a nice stay!

I had a great time! The cabin, bathrooms, and bath houses were very clean. This KOA is in a great location and very close to Acadia National Park. I would definitely stay again.

A wonderful, helpful staff. The grounds were well maintained. Nice water views from many spaces, but many spaces lacked any shade. The men's room near the laundry needed some maintenance and repair.
