We stayed one night in a basic cabin. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Bathrooms a very short walk away. Swing on porch was a nice touch. Campsite was quiet and clean. Would stay again.

My husband and I stayed at one of the cabins and we loved it. Beautiful surroundings, toilets and showers were always clean. The location is great to explore the National Park.

We arrived safely and had a smooth check-in. The ladies upfront were great. Our cabin was clean and nice. But unfortunately it had no hot water, plugged shower drain and broken bathroom faucet. We requested maintenance on day 1 after our first round of freezing cold showers. The next morning, tub was still full of water and freezing cold water poured from the faucet. So disappointed won't return.

The campground was beautiful and our cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The staff took great care to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. We will be back!

This is our second time staying there and again, we had a great time! Both times we stayed in a camper cabin and were pleasantly surprised to see that they added 3 additional bathrooms (private) closer to the cabins. One suggestion for KOA is that they mention at check-in the free shuttle bus that takes passengers from KOA to various locations, including downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Here's the thing. The campground itself is beautiful and THAT is why people keep coming back. I've been coming to this campground for over 40 years, long before it was KOA owned and that's why I come back. The prices to rent cabins is insane. $350 a night for a non ocean view? Come on. It would be one thing if they were nice, but nothing has been upgraded in years. Lower the price.

We l have been coming to this spot every summer for 40 years. My feedback: the water situation in the cabins needs to be fixed, we did not have adequate pressure or hot water for our entire stay. We understand what happens in the morning, but it didn't matter the time of day. The manager took care of this by helping us with a refund. The attitude of staff in the store was bad, RBF all day!

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we were very impressed with the experience. The staff at the store were incredibly friendly. The delivery service to our cabin was great. The texting communication was excellent. During our stay there was a child who was briefly missing and the whole campsite was notified via text. Our cabin was clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful campground right on the water. The Lobster Shack cafe has great food and delicious ice cream. Staff was very friendly. Wish there was a pool due to the fact there really isn't a beach for swimming. The bed in our cabin was pretty creaky, could definitely use a new box spring. These minor things though do not detract from the great time we had at this KOA.

Something has to be done to improve water pressure for the showers. When many are showering there is absolutely no water in our cabin , not even enough to flush the toilet. We pay $315 a night and at that price hot water and decent pressure is expected . Beautiful views and family keep us going back .

Bottom line is that we pay way too much for way too little. Cabins are dated, the water system is overtaxed and we rarely had hot water.

Staff was friendly, lots of things for kids to do, all including crafts, games, a bounce pillow, riding carts, bingo, tie dying. Sunset view is spectacular, and Sunday morning pancakes were delicious. Only complaint is that we arrived at 11:00 a.m., and they told us we weren't allowed in until because of cleaning. When we finally got in at 4:00 p.m. the floor was dirty.

They sent a text that the store was about to close and asked if we needed anything - firewood, ice, etc. We were out of the are and they delivered firewood to our cabin. Our cabin wasn't cleaned out when we got there. The previous people's garbage and even KOA map with their name on it was still there.

What a great experience here at the KOA Bar Harbor/Oceanside. Our cabin was clean and well taken care of, the bath house was always kept clean, and the view WOW is just a beautiful site to see. Someday we will be back to visit this amazing distention.

Deluxe studio cabin was just right for our fam of 4 (two adults two kids under 10) and we also enjoyed the screened-in porch to have some additional room to spread out and relax. Campfire area was perfect setup for our extended family to join us at the fire and roast mallows. Staff were super friendly - even stopped by our site & adjusted our kiddo's bike seat for him as we didn't have tools! A+

Checkin went smoothly. We found several issues with our cabin as well as the cost we paid. We stayed for 5 days with another family who stayed in a deluxe cabin like ours for the same amount of time. They paid significantly less and had a full sized refrigerator, a stove and other accommodations that our cabin did not have. We found it hard to believe we paid more and yet received less features.

We stayed two nights in a camping cabin while visiting Acadia National Park. The cabin suited our needs perfectly. We appreciated the mini fridge and the coffee pot that takes kcups. The mattress was a little thin for us. We did end up putting the twin mattresses underneath to make it more comfortable! We also recommend putting signage on the gravel road leading to the cabin parking. Thanks!

We were very impressed by all the amenities that the deluxe cabin came with. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay. Thank you for quickly helping my other group with their cold water and lack of a porch door. That quick attention really makes an impression. Having things like a lobster bake offered is a huge plus. We will certainly be back.

We had so much fun in Acadia and our cabin was outfitted perfectly for our needs. Loved having the mini fridge and coffee maker, electricity to charge our devices and cozy enough beds to sleep in to be in prepared for the next day of adventures. The staff were kind and helpful. Lovely beaches at the campsite too!

Everything was perfect! The campground had everything we needed, great location in relation to Acadia and downtown, all the facilities were clean, and the staff was beyond friendly! I’ve already recommended this KOA to multiple people, before even leaving to head home from our trip, and I can’t wait to return again in the future!

We liked our cabin, but for some reason it smelled like a barnyard. I went and got a candle and air freshener. It helped some. Our clothes even picked up the smell. Otherwise everything was great.

This was our first time at Bar Harbor Oceanside but we frequent other KOA’s and we absolutely loved our time here. So many great Amenities and it was almost like Hotel service with how helpful the staff is. We loved the Lobster trap cafe and the beautiful views and sunsets. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Items ordered from the store were delivered promptly. When we requested two extra dining chairs for the cabin one evening it rained, they were more than accommodating. Would highly recommend for an affordable hotel alternative.

A wonderful, helpful staff. The grounds were well maintained. Nice water views from many spaces, but many spaces lacked any shade. The men's room near the laundry needed some maintenance and repair.
