We loved the campground and the cabin! We will definitely be back. We explored the area as well. We spent time on the beach, the kids rented tricycles, we did ceramics and made whoopie pies. The location was great for the things we wanted to do off the campground.

We had a cabin stay and while we enjoyed our time there, there were a few things that would keep me from staying here again. Bathrooms: Semi-clean but foul odor. Showers - only three and very hard to get into. Facilities too far away. To pay for a cabin and have to walk at least 2/10 of a mile to get there seemed a bit much. Not much for activities for teens and adults.

We loved our studio camping cabin! It had everything we needed, and great proximity to the water and campground happenings. This is my favorite place to stay in Bar Harbor!

We were so pleased with Cabin 801. The waterfront site was so nice. Anytime we came in contact with a staff member, there was always a smile and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. Only drawback was the sewerage odor which seemed to be often. We would not hesitate to stay again in the future as the campground is beautiful and well maintained.

Love the location and the site. We stayed in a camping cabin, which was perfect. I'd love to give a better rating but the bathrooms need some attention, the cafe not open Tuesday and Wednesday is a bummer and there weren't any activities on those days either. The location is amazing though, so we'd love to come back if the bathrooms were addressed (water leaking from toilets left it gross &smelly)

We understand your pet friendly and think that's great BUT our Kozy cabin #14 smelled of DOG SO BAD we slept with the door open (after spraying air freshner). Almost slepted in the car! THAT CABIN NEEDS A DEEP CLEANING! Not enough restrooms or showers for the number of people! Ladies room was out of soap half the time and the toilets all seem to leak...floor ALWAYS WET!

We have stayed in the same cabin for over 5 years. Time it was upgraded! The bathroom door won’t close, ceiling fan loud and looks ready to fall off, ants in bathroom , refrigerator freezes my food and bad smell from bathroom sink. Need more hooks in bathroom to help dry towels. The view is amazing and Wi-Fi is good . Please let me in early as a kindness if cabin is clean ! Good vibes this way.

The KOA is located at a great spot. We enjoyed our ocean view cabin. The staff was very friendly.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Our initial cabin had some issues and the staff remedied them immediately and the rest of our stay was wonderful. The cabin was clean, the grounds beautiful and well-maintained and all the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.

The walk from the camping cabins to the bathrooms was far too long and dark. They were having sewerage problems during my stay so the smell was unpleasant a lot and eye watering/vomit inducing once.

We love it here! My only complaint is that the toilet paper in the bathrooms is like tissue paper! Too thin! Otherwise berthing was excellent!

We stayed at the basic cabin ( No Bathroom). The cabin was never cleaned. Spider web everywhere, socks from previous guests, dusty. Cabin is so dark inside, not enough lighting. There is no clearance between first and second level of the bunk bed, it was impossible to sit there for an adult. Cabins are too close to each other, no privacy at all! Overall campground was very tight and crowded.

Such a Beautiful and clean campground, So peaceful and in a natural setting on the water, we loved our rustic cabin(fancier than I expected) so comfy and the fridge was a huge help,the Keurig made my day ;) The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the shuttle was so easy to use and a great service, We can’t wait to come back!!!

Stayed in non bathroom cabins. Was not here for a camping trip(more sightseeing) The cabins were nice The site itself could use a little bit more upgrade by the fire pit and stuff (seating). The bathrooms could use more of a cleaning. The staff was friendly. Not much for teenage kids to play with. Weekly activities are more towards the end of the week. Bring bug spray. More KOA in our Future.

Very clean camp ground. Personel friendly. We stayed in cabin 809. The cabin was clean and conveniently located. The only drawbacks are that the bed was noisy creaked when sitting or sleeping. Also, grab bars in the bathroom would help getting in and out would add a safety measure. But we had a good time. Thanks.

We only stayed for one night didn’t get in til 7 as our whale watch was canceled in the am and had to go in the afternoon instead over all super cute the camper didn’t smell the best but for one night and the camp infront of us barked the whole time we had a fire so we put it out and went to bed. Maybe we will try again at some point

The extra bathroom by the wagon corral (that is not there) on the map needs to be taken off. Distance to bathrooms is something that is a huge consideration when booking with my little ones. The kabin area could use a little more mulch during big rains but other than that, we had a great time! Loved having a food option on site and the kids loved the activities!

Good: location, scenery, staff were great. Bad: cabin stunk like filthy wet dog. Huge negative for me. Why am I paying full price for a cabin that smells dirty wet dog? Staff advised they’ve had many complaints. Never would stay at a KOA cabin again that allows pets.

The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were wonderful. Nice cabins. The activities for kids were great too. Our son absolutely loved the train!

We’ve been coming for years, but this year was tough. It’s getting too expensive to stay here and it felt kind of empty (maybe people are priced out?). It has so much potential and is a special place. It would be great to see it more “alive” again. Staff were mostly new and we missed former favorites.

Cabin with two rooms was clean and nice set up. Late arrival was easy. Enjoyed texts from campground about KOA activities and our stay/ not too many but just enough. Friendly staff. Close to Acadia and Bar Herbor. Would stay again.

It is great. The only 2 problems is that you have no parking next to cabin so everything has to be lugged and at dark it’s not fun ( carts are convenient though.) the other is lack of restrooms. I’m the middle of the night having to walk such a long distance is not fun.

I really enjoed the campground and all the amenities and water access. What I didn't love was my cabin. I don't know if when I booked I chose a pet friendly one or not? Anyway it smelled terrible. We tried to spray the inside and that didn't help. Also the dog in the cabin next to us wouldn't stop barking for 2 hours straight. This meant I couldn't enjoy the screened in porch. I really try

Our cabin was great and the staff very helpful. Overall we were quite pleased. We wish our view was better (pretty much just looking at RVs). A pool would be nice.

The site is perfect and right outside all of the major attractions in Acadia. The workers were so nice and very responsive. I loved the text feature to order ice and wood and ask questions. The only downside is the cart system for the cabins. Will likely not return for that reason. Was an absolute pain.

-The site was beautiful and extremely well cared for. -My cabin was immaculately clean, as were the grounds. -I appreciated the decorations around camp. -I was surprised how many goods were packed into the camp store. -The staff was really friendly. -I liked how the staff sent me texts to let me know what was going on around camp.
