Amazing place, beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, great staff. Park and facilities are well maintained and clean. We will be back again next summer!

The location was listed as Oceanside. It is not, it is along the Western Bay. There is no beach just a muddy, rocky outcropping. The staff was not very friendly, nor is there very much organization to the sites&, as people walked through your sites. Veh were not parked in an orderly manner.

We had a wonderful experience, our favorite features are the personable staff, bay views, layout and cleanliness of the grounds and proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

The WIFI was useless. For the price we paid for our site, I expected functioning WIFI. Everything else was very nice.

Staff were very helpful. Showers/bathrooms/laundry were clean and well kept. Appreciated the text updates and ability to "order" ice and firewood for delivery to our site. Location is gorgeous. Island Explorer bus was handy.

Your experience at this campground somewhat depends on where you are located. Last year we stayed at a great spot with a great view. This year we were in the middle of a tight row that was more of a parking lot with no view and on top of all our neighbors. Facilities were average for a KOA with the standard mediocre wifi.

Way too many sites crammed together. The sites are small. There is no open space anywhere. It’s lost its charm. I camped there in the 70’s and 80’s and it was lovely. Now it’s a parking lot for RV’s

We stayed in our Winnebago on a premium price site by the ocean. Nice view except for the truck and RV across. Some campers would walk right through the water sites and hang around at sunset. Very rude. The staff at this KOA was extemporary. A young lady escorted us to the site and stayed to make sure we were settled ok. The store is well stocked with helpful staff. Trash pickup everyday is great.

We supposedly had a pull-thru site for our 37 ft coach towing a car making it 56 feet. The site was NOT a pull-thru. I measured a total of 46 ft. Since campers are allowed to park trailers, boats and multiple cars on their site you can hardly see the "Oceanside" over all the junk. Additionally, the staff that guided us to the site had the driver pull in to the site and scrape the side of the RV.

This is our favorite campground yet in 3 years of camping with a 24ft travel trailer. We somehow got a last minute ocean side spot that i thought was gunna be a slight view backed in and packed. We got a spot (341) that was a full side to the water! Even though the park was busy, it felt like we were the only ones there when at our site. Great staff, great amenities, great food. Just a great trip.

The campground needed maintaining. Our fire grate was bent. The grass was not mown. One of the men’s room needed cleaning of the worst kind for a few mornings in a row. Someone had apparently been ill. My husband started using the facilities farther away from our spot because they were cleaner. I chose to do the same. The friendly staff never asked us why we chose to leave early.

grass parking area, older picnic table, bathrooms need an update. on a peninsula so sunsets were spectacular. quite pricy. service staff was the highlight, top notch. text communication is brilliant idea.

Good stay as usual for our 4th trip here! Things did seem different from previous years though- this year the barrel rides for kids were limited and there were less kid-friendly activities like water days. The staff seemed stressed out

We stayed in a pull thru full hook up patio site. We have stayed here for the last 25 years. It is right on the water with easy access for kayaks and swimming.

We loved outside and the beautiful views. We would love to see the sites have more gravel. When it rained we had a huge mud puddle outside our door. Also the bathrooms could use some love. The rope mats outside stall….. yuk! The floor under the mat was bad as well. It needs a serious update!!

Great stay, gorgeous views, clean campground and well maintained. Very attentive and friendly staff. A bit pricey for a campground without a pool and hot tub, but probably typical for this area.

Can't wait for each year to come around. I think we just completed our 8th year, and are booked for 2027. Love the campground, and the whole Bar Harbor experience. KOA staff are great, and very helpful. See you next year.

The staff & view make this place. The staff was attentive to all our needs & this KOA puts service first. Peter was especially helpful with everything! He let us know we had a leak & offered to fix it. He helped anyone with anything he could. He went above & beyond & obviously cares about doing a good job & helping others. Kim at the front desk was also helpful & we appreciate everyone there!

The view from the koa was beautiful with sunsets & so close to downtown bar harbor & Acadia. With that being said the disappointment was there was no grass on the front of our our site & I mean none. There were weeds on the back of the site. The staff was so friendly & helpful I would give them a 10.

Wonderful staff! Very helpful and courteous. Location is great with easy access to Acadia. The cafe was excellent! Only suggestion is to improve the patio sites as the stones need some leveling and filling in.

Very loud w/ kids roaming. My site was next to common area, was not for me; intrusive & loud. Staff were wonderful, all very kind & helpful. When I checked in I was warned of other campers walking thru my site.

We love camping here! The campground is clean, the staff are courteous and responsive, and the location is amazing!! Would love it if recycling were an option. Also, having some rental RVs ( like when you had Airstreams) would be nice.

Our site was perfect. A beautiful view of the water,shady and roomy. The staff communicated via text and delivered our ice and wood. We will definitely be back with friends !!!!

This was are 5th year staying at this campground and it was the BEST experience ever here! The manager Michael was warm and welcoming upon our arrival. The staff, Geoff, Zach, and Shiela, just to name a few of the many names that I remember, were all outstanding in providing professional & caring assistance with all our needs. Thank you all for a great stay! Our site was clean and level too!

We had an amazingly marvelous stay. This is a gorgeous on the waterfront campground with a very welcoming, caring and helpful staff. Some local transportation we had reserved failed to show up at the last minute and staff member, Peter, offered us a ride--during his time off!! The whole camp, staff and other campers were caring, welcoming and friendly. Absolutely recommend this campground.

We are a frequent visitor. Love this place. This year was different in that the activities were more limited to just a couple of days and very short and timing. I remember that being very different. Also the staff that ran the activities were a little too firm for kids that were camping and having fun. I do appreciate a good strict person, but I feel there is a time and a place for that.

We’ve been coming for years to this location. Staff is always friendly and the facilities are clean. This trip, we felt that there were a lot fewer activities for kids, which was disappointing. There was nothing on the agenda Monday through Wednesday. Also, the showers were a bit unpredictable in terms of water pressure and the warmth of the water.
