Looked the area and free shuttle along with beach front site. The issue I had was the cleanliness for the price I paid. The bathroom was not up to par and there was a broke glass bottle for 2 days outside of the rest room. Also, the site did not have much privacy and were small. Should plant some trees between sites to make it more private.

Excellent KOA. Friendly staff, and extra touches like delivery of firewood and ice to campsites. Our lot had a great view of the Ocean. Although a bit expensive, I would highly recommend it.

We loved our cabin site. What a pleasant surprise to be housed in the trees. We also loved how close we were to any island adventures and also ones off the island. Only wish we had more time.

Our water front site was beautiful. The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The shower rooms were clean and spacious. Hoping to stay longer next year at the same site.

The campground is great, we had site 406 which is huge, however 405 seems better since 406 is supposed to be oceanfront but far from the water. Lean-up kitchen and wifi are great to have. Bit expensive for camping though (150$/night).

KOA Bar Harbor is heaven on earth! From the nicest people at check in to everyone that works at the campground is awesome! We consider ourselves lucky to have found our little spot and will return ever year!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all our interactions with staff were great. While we love being able to rent a cabin, do wish the bathroom was a bit nicer. The toilet didn't seem to flush super well and the drain in the bathtub was a bit grungy looking. Also, would appreciate better toilet paper.

Our site was a little muddy and not very level, with a big tree in the middle. Other than that the campground was lovely. Very convenient to Acadia and great lobster restaurants. We were there for 4 nights and I wish it had been longer!

Everything was great from the site to the people who work there...Very helpful and being able to just send a text of what you need and they bring it right to you ..oh and I don't want to forget the fact that they show you to your camp site �ϋ��ϋ��ϋ�

Really liked the on site Lobster Trap Cafe! The lobster rolls and pancake breakfast were great. The overall setting of the campground was wonderful! We originally had a two night stay, but extended it to a third night and had to move lots which we didn’t mind at all.

The Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA is top on our list of KOA stays so far. We loved the camper cabins, and the location was top notch. The only improvement we would suggest is to have a port-a-john closer to the camper cabins (as shown on the map that you have). The bathrooms were very far away from our cabins!

Too expensive and the bathrooms left much to be desired. On the men’s side, one was broken and the toilet paper was so thin you could read through it. You had to fold it over many times to be safe.

It’s so beautiful, the staff is so helpful and friendly, and all of the facilities worked as promised. Couldn’t have hoped for anything better. It was great for us first-timers, and seemed like the experienced campers were having a great time too.

Many water pressure issues, a restroom door that still doesn’t line up/fully shut to lock the door (3rd year reporting this) and power concerns (lights flicker). Themed evenings should not start at 5PM. This is a family resort-dinner time activities are not ideal, start activities at 7PM. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the checkin. Cabin not ready until 5PM. Not acceptable.

We stayed in a camping cabin. The cabins are fairly close together but it still felt private and everything quieted down after 10 pm. We loved that there was a little beach area at the campground. Our only complaint was the distance from the camping cabins to the bathroom - it would be nice if that area had it's own dedicated bathroom.

Love that tent sites have both water and electric. Though I didnt use the service of delivery, I think its a nice feature. I did find your icecream to be expensive.

It was pouring rain when we checked in and dark, we appreciated that someone led us to our cabin, otherwise we would not have found it under the circumstances. We had Staff was always helpful with things and right on top of things. The facilities were clean and and there were lots of activities for kids to do.

This was my first time renting a cabin from KOA. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with any of my questions. I can’t wait to go back and try other KOA with cabins. Thank you Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA for make my 10th Anniversary with my wife memorable!

This is our favorite spot & campground in the US. The sites have beautiful views & the workers are friendly & keep the grounds immaculate. Jane is amazing at doing the mowing & gardening to make things pretty all the time. Lots of activities! Just wish cafe was not closed T-W. Also, cable was removed so if you don’t have satellite or streaming you have only 1 local channel of TV, w/antenna
