Location, location, location ! Watch the sunset every night at the designated viewing areas. Close proximity to Acadia National Park and the NPS bus stop is right at the campground store. Very convenient. The KOA employees were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

This is a gorgeous and large campground. The views around the harbor can be seen from nearly every side of the camp. The rustic cabins are a little too close together, yet provide you that little intimate space in the outdoors. The cafe and store were easily accessible, and if you needed something, there was always someone around to help. The bathhouses and showers are some of the cleanest around.

Too crowded for what we like. Dogs were left during the day and howled . Staff was very friendly and polite.

I thought the check in staff were the worst I’ve experienced at a Kia because of the corporate rules. Corporate should come visit and see what customers are asking. The little train going thru the campground a worp speed with a flat tire was very concerning. Where was corporate then?? Otherwise nice campground.

We have stayed here several times both tenting and in the cabins. This last stay we asked to move sites and we're accommodated. The staff is friendly and they have everything you could need. Beautiful ocean frontage and they cook lobster.

We stayed in the Deluxe Camping Cabin, absolutely the best! So comfortable, clean and well stocked for us! Glamping at its best! Full kitchen was great! Had breakfast there daily and was able to make lunches for our hiking days! This is my 4th time staying in the cabins, will be back next Fall! Thanks KOA!

Our stay was great! The KOA staff was AWESOME! We love to take our pups on walks around the campground. The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating was due to the bed. The mattress in the cabin, cabin 812 was way too soft. It was so soft that we left a day early just because we were so uncomfortable when it came to sleeping. We will definitely return, just hoping for a better mattress.

We really enjoyed our stay at KOA Bar Harbor/Oceanside, the view from our campsite (224) at sunset was amazing!!

We had a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Our campsite was very nice. The Lobster Trap food was delicious and the employees at the restaurant were friendly and provided great customer service. All the KOA staff we interacted with were really nice. We have traveled across the country and this was one of our best stays! Also a big thank you to the office staff for recommendations!

Such a pleasure to be here! Very friendly staff, super clean facilities, right by the water, great sunset view, happy people here! The restaurant serves blueberry muffins and ice cream and more! Already booked to be back next year!

We must have had the only hilly campsite in the park. We backed up the hill & were on a slant all night. Our soda bottles rolled down the middle of the camper. We would have appreciated a level site. Also there was a tree branch that scraped on the roof. And the water faucet was difficult to hook up to — almost on the ground. Staff was friendly. Campground was clean.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, onsite restaurant served awesome food, and very clean facilities. Stayed in a luxury cabin - extremely clean and well set up for our week long stay! Definitely a returned trip in the future!!

Most pleasant and helpful staff of any KOA we've ever stayed at. Water view sites were great even w/o full hookup. The park was very clean and conveniently located to Acadia N.P. and Bar Harbor. On site Lobster Cafe was great.

I had a good time exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. The cabin and bathrooms were very clean. My only complaint would be that there was not an obvious wash station for dishes near the rustic cabins. There was a sign for a utility sink, but I did not find it. I did my dishes with a bucket that I brought, but that left me dumping the water in the bushes.. I enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. Campsites vary in type. Ours was gravel and grass. Electric and water hookups are at the back of the campsite—we had to use extensions for both. No sewer, but the campground offers a honey wagon service for a fee. Very nice that there is a cafe on site where you can even advance order lobster! Laundry was pretty nice. Showers are individual.

Poor value for price. Short back in site made it very hard to position tow vehicle out of right of way. Campsites were much too close to provide any semblance of privacy or comfort. Couldn’t use fire pit without smoking out other campers. Barking dog left in adjacent trailer while owners left for day. Men’s restroom had no hand soap for 3 days. Kiddie train completely ignores 5mph speed limi

We were not given the site we booked on the water. Instead we were on a very narrow site facing the road, no view, as was advertised and no privacy since our camper door, picnic table and fire ring were only a few feet away from the main road. Disappointed in Vermont.

Awesome location. Very hospitable staff. Great physical layout of sites. Some sites did not have sanitary hookup because they were so close to the water but they do offer a ‘pump out’ service to such sites. We highly recommend staying here.

The only bad part which they can't do anything about is the road noise that comes across the water from the cars and trucks going over the bridge

The staff is incredibly helpful. From the phone call to make the reservation to greeting us upon arrival. The lobster roll is one of the best ever and the property is well maintained. Location is Peter t for kayaking and visiting Acadia!!

Five stars! Great service, great staff, great location!! We stayed in a ocean view (premium site) for our stay to say location, location, location WOW what a view sunrises and sunsets every day! Quiet location! Clean restrooms and showers and less than 20 min away from Acadia! Worth every penny we will be back!

We loved LOVED loved this campground. The staff was friendly,informative and made you feel like lifelong friends in conversation. The views all around were stunning. We loved the rock fire puts but not all sites had them. Ours didn't and that made us all very sad as they are super cool. The kids had fun hunting for crabs in the shallow waters and I really enjoyed looked for little shells. The bathrooms were nice and clean. More clean in the morning than evening, obviously. And the water was HOT. I liked the individual showers. My son could go with me and I didn't have to send hi. With his brother. He is still not at the size I want to send him in a male restroom alone to shower. So, that was nice, we could get showers next to each other and I didn't have to worry. This place is located close to acadia national park and bar harbor. We were all over both lol The campground has its own little restaurant which is also a nice perk. We would definitely stay here again and for longer next time.

The view alone is worth 5 stars! ⭐️ We are sad we were only here two days! The location was breath taking! The little stand next to the water with the electric was a life saver as it had a roof on it to help protect devices as they charge. We were right on the water and it was magical
