Awesome view from our site; the site was large enough to put up a tent far from the firepit; toliet was clean and not too far; ALL workers seemed interested in making the experience in and out of the campground as great as possible; the tent site had a great grassy area (not gravel, not pavement); the on-site lobster roll truck was delicious, convenient, affordable, and informative; stop the spam

Didn't get the camp site we thought, but we still loved being able to see the water from our site. We came here for our 50th wedding anniversary and stayed 9 nights. That was not enough time for us. We had with us my 84 year old Mom and our dog. I was hoping that my mom would enjoy herself because you just don't know when you could lose someone. My mom used her scooter to get around and loved it.

We stay almost exclusively at KOA, have for many years. This camp was the most I’ve ever paid for a KOA site and I had high expectations for our 51st wedding anniversary. The picture showed it by the water and called it a premium site, but it wasn’t as it was shown. And although it may not be their fault, parts of the campground had a strong sewer gas smell which was not pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay. The most pleasant thing was how quiet it was! Only thing we were not thrilled with was the food choices at the cafe :(. We will definately come back! We already have our spot picked out ;).

We booked a tent site that was perfect for camping with our tent and car. We could park on the tent site and we also had a nice partial water view! This was our second time visiting and we will be back to stay here again. It’s a great spot to stay and tour the national park.

It is a beautiful campground. We enjoyed our site but wished it was a little wider. The toilet paper could use a little upgrade and I had trouble getting out of some of the bathroom stalls and the doors would stick. It was nice to have onsite options for eating and ice cream. If it wasn't so far we would be back more often. It was also nice to have the island explorer as an option.

The campground was great-our cabin not so much. We paid for oceanfront, but unfortunately this cabin sits right on route 3 which is a main road and extremely busy all day and night long. Part of the view is ocean view and the rest is a bridge with heavy traffic. The cabin was also very musty smelling-there was mold all along the base of the trim around the bath tub. Staff were great

The honey pot support was sketchy. They drained our grey and black and when taking a shower the water came through the drain into the shower base. When asked why they didn’t drain as paid for, they said they had too many sites to service. Make sure you don’t need the honey pot.

We have stayed at the Bar Harbor Koa/Oceanside several times and it never disappoints. The campground is well run, the facilities are clean and the staff is very helpful. The views from the campsites are some of the best on Mt Desert. The Sunday pancake breakfast was a nice treat along with the homemade pies that were available to buy at your campsite. The store delivery service was a bonus.

WE enjoyed the area and all the activities available. The cabin was very nice and supplied everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to have more hooks for hanging towels and clothing and maybe a small stand or something for those who do not have the bedroom..

Being on a bus stop is a major benefit. For the benefit of anyone unfamiliar with Airstreams simple written instructions on how things work would be helpful

Reservations were easy . Very accommodating! Very quiet. Little difficult to find should be more signs for anyone coming in after dark. Would return for sure.

We reserve the same site every year at the same time even though this KOA. is a little pricey. We love the close proximity to the ocean, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The staff are always friendly and helpful and we appreciate their willingness to assist in any way.

The staff was great. Loved that the Island Exployer had a pick up at the KOA. Our site 116 was unacceptable. Every time you stepped out of our door we were in dirt. Never been in a more dirty site and I payed twice as much as other places at your KOA. I couldn’t wait to move on.

Facilities were clean and the campers generally abided by the silent hours. Getting things from the camp store was made easy by the free delivery service offered. The only downsides were (1) the campsites were very close together with no real privacy, and (2) the website made it seem as though the sand campsites were on the waterfront but in face that was not the case.

This year we stayed in 806. I chose it for the screened in porch! We loved the porch! We both feel that the cabin fell short of providing a comfortable MATTRESS. It’s time to get rid of it!! I was disappointed in what was included in the kitchen area! No running water, toaster or utensils to eat! We brought our own bread and could not toast it!! Also in the shower there were NO grab bars !

We booked the cabin with the loft. When we got there, we realized the loft was not gonna work for three adults went to the front office and asked if we could switch to another cabin and they were able to accommodate us.

We visit Acadia every year in the early spring and really enjoy staying at the KOA cabins. They treat their guests (both human and dogs) wonderfully. The cabins very in view and amenities. We love staying in the ones that overlook the water, but you need to reserve those months in advance because they are very popular. That said, it's worth the wait to sit by the fire as the sun disappears behind the tree line.

Best campsite ever! Bar harbor and Acadia NP were amazing. After a week at this KOA I wish that I had stayed for another week… at least! The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had rented this as part of our wedding trip. We were originally going to be bringing our elderly dog Shadow, but unfortunately, she passed mid-July. In our grief we had forgotten to update our booking. We booked cabin 808, and when we arrived, we saw the dog bowls and mat laid out, and it hit us again, but in a good way. We've NEVER had an accommodation prepare for our dog. The cabin was spectacular and we had an Oceanview. It was so clean and neat and had everything you could ever want. The fridge was cold, there was a nice King Sized bed and two bunk beds in the second room with bedding should you want to use it. There was a nice deck out front and a private one attached to the primary room. With a grill and everything in the house, we wished we had stayed longer! The service was TOP NOTCH. My husband had left his prescription glasses there and we called and they said if we would email them a shipping label, they would ensure they got back to us. Well they did and I can't say enough about that! We did laundry the first night we were there and the machines were well cared for and worked fantastic. All in all, we will book this again and again!
