i’ve been to this KOA 3 times and it never disappoints! the people in the shop and around the campsites are so friendly and kind. campground is super dog friendly too. can’t beat the nightly sunsets from the comfort of your campsite either!

I love the Bar Harbor KOA, we stay every year. I will say that the firewood this time was AWFUL. it was wet and would not burn.

We have been coming here for five years and love it! This year, things didn’t seem as well kept- bathrooms were often dirty, shower stalls not clean and just not as many staff circulating- they did not seem friendly either. We will keep coming back, but this year was not as nice as previous years!

Nice campground. Like the lobster food cart. The problem we had was no cable. They had internet, but as the campground filled, the internet was non-existent. We like to get local news and weather. We used our antenna, but only 3 channels and none were local. Wish they had cable.

The front desk staff behaved very strangely, and the supervisor was especially rude. We stayed for four nights, and for two of those nights there was no hot water. The main heater did not work during our entire stay, and several electrical outlets could not power the small heaters. The water quality was unsafe. There was a large amount of sand in the water.The supervisor said he drinks it himsel

Amazing stay! Very safe, clean and everyone is very friendly. Showers were a huge plus!!

The staff was wonderful and the grounds were well maintained. Many spaces had no shade, but nice water views! The men's room near the laundry needed some maintenance.

Beautiful, well-maintained campground on the oceanfront that we will definitely return to! Staff were very friendly & helpful, site was exactly as described, and we couldn’t have asked for a better home-base for our Acadia/Bar Harbor adventures.

Our first time in the Bar Harbor area, and everything was great! The rental cabin was fantastic and was much more comfortable than we anticipated. A complete kitchen, separate bedroom, sofa, dining area, outside seating, and a grill were some of the things we had with our cabin rental. Linens, towels, dishes were all in the cabin. Just a short walk from our cabin we had a great view of the bay.

We loved our stay with our pups. Perfect location - close to Acadia & town but secluded enough to feel peaceful & quiet. Loved how close it was to the water & the sunsets every night were beautiful.

Friendly and accommodating staff! Site access was very easy. The Crab food truck was great. The only complaint I would have would be the lighting inside the shower area at night.

VERY low water pressure in the shower. Dark, lined curtains in the bedrooms & bathroom would really help. Sun comes up before 5am & no one wants to be awakened early while on vacation. Sun coming thru unshaded bathroom window was so bright it lit up entire cabin. Responsive to customers (when calling for info or reservations after hours) was POOR & needs significant improvement. Otherwise great!

We stayed at an oceanfront RV site and it was great! I do miss the random texts that we used to receive during our stay, with information and events, the lobster cafe and other activities.

The cabin was so comfortable and cozy. We appreciated having the bathrooms close by. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee provided.

I had a nice stay in site 309, although I was hoping to stay in 405 or 406. Everyone I interacted with was lovely and helpful. The site was nice and easy to find. Just a bit of disappointment since 405 is my favorite site!!

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Everyone was super friendly and the campground was super clean with a nice amount of space between sites. Would definitely recommend! And very dog friendly which was also a huge plus.

Our campsite was nice and roomy. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were clean. I was very happy with that and our dog had such a good time. She really enjoyed it. We had a great time. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing stay at this little camping resort! The location, scenery and facilities were great, but it was the staff who made our stay extra special! Everyone was so friendly and dedicated and we really enjoyed all our interactions with staff.

The park's location is ideal for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It was easy to navigate to, check-in was fast and friendly & we were escorted to our site. The park is very clean and well maintained. Complimentary trash pick-up was appreciated. It's dog friendly with a nice sized dog park and plenty of pet stations throughout the park. There's an onsite cafe too. Overall, nice KOA.

Wonderful waterfront view. Should warn guests that the only showers with hot water are near the cabins. The ones near our site in the 200 section were cold!!

It was cold and rainy…not the best time of year…but we enjoyed the area anyway. We had never been here in our camper and would love to have seen the top of the hill, but it was not visible, so…such is life.

Advertised they had cable but they didn’t. This was important to me, as a special needs parent, to maintain as little stress as possible. I couldn’t even play Netflix on it. Also there was unexpected construction going on that woke us up early. The post was absolutely beautiful, though, and the cabin very cute.

I loved staying right by the water with the beautiful scenery. I wish I had picked a closer to the water cabin but The cabin was beautiful and perfect. All the staff was wonderful. I didn’t want to leave. Best Mother’s Day weekend maine trip.

The campground is clean. The view is lovely on the oceanside sites. We were in a deluxe cabin, too close to the road so we heard road noise all night. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the water barely got hot. The toilet didn’t want to flush in the mornings so no idea what was going on there. We blew a fuse in the kitchen using the provided toaster. The office closes at 5p

The location was great. For just opening we felt the campground needed a good spring clean up. I had a rake along and needed to rake our fire pit area of leaves and branches. Some really nice sites and some super tight back in sites. Unfortunately, we had a tight back in site.

Very convenient and close for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We go there every year with a very large group of friends. They all had the same feedback: the staff is very welcoming , very easy/simple to checkin. Wonderful and clean facilities. It is the best of the best, thanks to Michael the manager and his staff, they always make our stay magic, and very memorable. We love it, and we will be back soon !!

This campground is awesome! Acadia was incredible, Bar Harbor was amazing, and this place puts you right in the middle of all the action. You're just minutes from Acadia National Park and minutes from town, which makes it super convenient for exploring everything in the area. The service and people here are top notch—friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning. I would 100% recommend this campground to anyone visiting Acadia or Bar Harbor
