We had a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Our campsite was very nice. The Lobster Trap food was delicious and the employees at the restaurant were friendly and provided great customer service. All the KOA staff we interacted with were really nice. We have traveled across the country and this was one of our best stays! Also a big thank you to the office staff for recommendations!

Such a pleasure to be here! Very friendly staff, super clean facilities, right by the water, great sunset view, happy people here! The restaurant serves blueberry muffins and ice cream and more! Already booked to be back next year!

We must have had the only hilly campsite in the park. We backed up the hill & were on a slant all night. Our soda bottles rolled down the middle of the camper. We would have appreciated a level site. Also there was a tree branch that scraped on the roof. And the water faucet was difficult to hook up to — almost on the ground. Staff was friendly. Campground was clean.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, onsite restaurant served awesome food, and very clean facilities. Stayed in a luxury cabin - extremely clean and well set up for our week long stay! Definitely a returned trip in the future!!

Most pleasant and helpful staff of any KOA we've ever stayed at. Water view sites were great even w/o full hookup. The park was very clean and conveniently located to Acadia N.P. and Bar Harbor. On site Lobster Cafe was great.

I had a good time exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. The cabin and bathrooms were very clean. My only complaint would be that there was not an obvious wash station for dishes near the rustic cabins. There was a sign for a utility sink, but I did not find it. I did my dishes with a bucket that I brought, but that left me dumping the water in the bushes.. I enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. Campsites vary in type. Ours was gravel and grass. Electric and water hookups are at the back of the campsite—we had to use extensions for both. No sewer, but the campground offers a honey wagon service for a fee. Very nice that there is a cafe on site where you can even advance order lobster! Laundry was pretty nice. Showers are individual.

Poor value for price. Short back in site made it very hard to position tow vehicle out of right of way. Campsites were much too close to provide any semblance of privacy or comfort. Couldn’t use fire pit without smoking out other campers. Barking dog left in adjacent trailer while owners left for day. Men’s restroom had no hand soap for 3 days. Kiddie train completely ignores 5mph speed limi

We were not given the site we booked on the water. Instead we were on a very narrow site facing the road, no view, as was advertised and no privacy since our camper door, picnic table and fire ring were only a few feet away from the main road. Disappointed in Vermont.

Awesome location. Very hospitable staff. Great physical layout of sites. Some sites did not have sanitary hookup because they were so close to the water but they do offer a ‘pump out’ service to such sites. We highly recommend staying here.

The only bad part which they can't do anything about is the road noise that comes across the water from the cars and trucks going over the bridge

The staff is incredibly helpful. From the phone call to make the reservation to greeting us upon arrival. The lobster roll is one of the best ever and the property is well maintained. Location is Peter t for kayaking and visiting Acadia!!

The sunsets were wonderful. The site was very level. We met some wonderful people. There were no trees in our area and there was no cable.

We love this KOA, have been here several time and plan to come back more times. A very friendly and helpful staff. This is a good location, easy to explore MDI and Acadia NP. Maybe a little upgrade to the restrooms near the patio sires would be nice, they are not bad, just a little dated.

Our stay was fantastic. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Staff was so friendly and super helpful. Anything we needed was delivered ( yes delivered) within seconds (literally) of requesting. Cabin was very clean, campground is very clean. Will definitely be staying here again.

First time with KOA Wonderful staff from actually answering the phone and not just talking to an answering machine �thank you Deana at check in was amazing , friendly and very knowledgeable. Loved everything about this campground, from the friendly guest to the employees at KOA. The very special treat was the food services that is open early and closing late to accommodate the hungry travelers. I WILL BE BACK….

The staff was great. Especially Eric and Westley. They were extremely helpful. The location is awesome. The type of site that we rented was extremely tight . I would not recommend that site type.

We had a nice stay except for the dog droppings left behind our camp-site by whoever is living on site 274 with the Irish Setter and other dogs. Other than that, staff was great, felt secure, and we hope to be back next year.

The airstream that we rented was fun but would have been a little cramped for more than 2 days. The campground was clean, beautiful and right on the water.

The camp site had a great assortment of cabin, RV & general tent areas to choose from so camping enthusiasts of all types could enjoy. There was plenty of activities on site, which makes this an ideal place for those traveling with kids to keep them entertained throughout the day. The site was a brisk 15min drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as well for easy access to popular sites.

Best campsite ever! Bar harbor and Acadia NP were amazing. After a week at this KOA I wish that I had stayed for another week… at least! The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had rented this as part of our wedding trip. We were originally going to be bringing our elderly dog Shadow, but unfortunately, she passed mid-July. In our grief we had forgotten to update our booking. We booked cabin 808, and when we arrived, we saw the dog bowls and mat laid out, and it hit us again, but in a good way. We've NEVER had an accommodation prepare for our dog. The cabin was spectacular and we had an Oceanview. It was so clean and neat and had everything you could ever want. The fridge was cold, there was a nice King Sized bed and two bunk beds in the second room with bedding should you want to use it. There was a nice deck out front and a private one attached to the primary room. With a grill and everything in the house, we wished we had stayed longer! The service was TOP NOTCH. My husband had left his prescription glasses there and we called and they said if we would email them a shipping label, they would ensure they got back to us. Well they did and I can't say enough about that! We did laundry the first night we were there and the machines were well cared for and worked fantastic. All in all, we will book this again and again!

Very nice campground on the water very close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. We greatly enjoyed our stay here in September 2024.
