The back insights are very close together. We got there right at five. They told us that they were closing and just gave us directions to try to figure out how to get to our site. Other KOA have driven you in and help you back up. Every time we went to use the shower or the bathroom house in the morning when you would want to use such things it seem to be cleaning.

We loved our stay at this KOA. Beautiful scenery, kind and helpful staff, clean facilities, and we had a nice campsite. The showers and bathrooms were nice and clean, we liked that there was recycling available, trash was picked up right from your site by staff, and VERY dog friendly. We are already looking forward to staying here again next season

Great stay! Convenient location for site seeing, with Island Hopper bus stop on site. Awesome Cafe, ocean views, clean restrooms and a friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

The campground RV sites and ocean views are amazing! The location is perfect for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. However, the check-in staff is rude and unfriendly. We avoided the general store for supplies as the atmosphere was not pleasant. This is the 2nd visit we experienced this. Also, the cabins could use better cleaning. The floors were sticky and the faucets were not very clea

Wi-Fi was nonexistent. Water pressure was very low and prevented more than one quick shower per day. The cabin was dirty and dusty.

We had what was probably the best campsite ever! The KOA crew as awesome every day of our stay. After we returned home, I was thinking that I really would have loved to stay another week.

We stay here each year, this year I made a mistake when booking. I didn’t even realize it until I received a text message asking him why we didn’t check in. I immediately responded about the mistake and they simply said no refunds. Also at check-in, they didn’t give us any information. I would’ve loved to have taken our dog on the scenic route bus that they now offer. It’s not peak seas

One of the top Koa we have stayed at. We haveen members for years. The cabin was immaculate. Staff was great. The layout was well thought out. Definately will be back. Cheers

Very beautiful location. Some sites are hard to get into. I would suggest an escort when people check in. We’ve been traveling across Canada, staying in many KOAs. Everyone has been so friendly, except for unfortunately this office check in. Hopefully it’s just an end of the season attitude. But boy did people seem unhappy, unfriendly and unhelpful.

Very nice campground. Mostly gravel roads and pads. Pads are close to level but not necessarily. Lots of activities for kids. Nice onsite “cafe”. Close to Acadia. Easy for big rigs to maneuver. Several without sewer connections. Lives up to KOA standards. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful and quiet site! We stayed for almost a week in October while we explored Acadia. This KOA has everything you need - clean bathrooms, individual showers, a place to get hot food, and amazing staff! The grounds were kept clean and we enjoyed being able to sit out and watch the sky at night. I highly recommend this site if you are camping!

Grounds were great and super safe. We've been going for years. The wifi was non-existent which was frustrating. Also, the cooktop wouldn't boil water. Think it might be the pot they provide isn't compatible, but it made cooking frustrating. They also dropped the ball on some other details but are quick to respond. Again just frustrating.

We enjoyed everything about our cabin at this KOA.We had a helpful and friendly staff. Our cabin and linens were clean and Everything was organized. Wished they did give enough kcups for the length of the stay.

Very nice spot! The personal is kind. Bathroom cleaned frequently. Super place to watch the sunset. The ambiance is good in the Camping. Very quiet.

Location is perfect for Acadia! Unfortunately the septic system in the park puts off a strong odor. Makes it almost impossible to sit outside at times. I got a headache at the laundry facilities due to septic smells. Laundry facilities need updating as well. Otherwise the staff is very nice and the location was great!

Amazing campground. We came in October so too chilly but we coukd just imagine how great it would be . Depending on the day, we could have fresh lobster dinners made right in front of you at their food truck area. Places to sit and eat or take back to your site. They do offer other menu choices also. We watched the sunset over the water right at camp. Alot of Halloween decorations due to holiday.

I was injured when our bed broke. I asked the office for a different bed. There was no concern for my injury, only that no one else had any problems. When I started to explain why it was dangerous, I was told again that no one had any problems and that I could leave. The 74" foam pad was on a 65" box spring frame with old ceiling boards for slats only 7" off the floor spaced incorrectly. More

Best campsite ever! Bar harbor and Acadia NP were amazing. After a week at this KOA I wish that I had stayed for another week… at least! The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had rented this as part of our wedding trip. We were originally going to be bringing our elderly dog Shadow, but unfortunately, she passed mid-July. In our grief we had forgotten to update our booking. We booked cabin 808, and when we arrived, we saw the dog bowls and mat laid out, and it hit us again, but in a good way. We've NEVER had an accommodation prepare for our dog. The cabin was spectacular and we had an Oceanview. It was so clean and neat and had everything you could ever want. The fridge was cold, there was a nice King Sized bed and two bunk beds in the second room with bedding should you want to use it. There was a nice deck out front and a private one attached to the primary room. With a grill and everything in the house, we wished we had stayed longer! The service was TOP NOTCH. My husband had left his prescription glasses there and we called and they said if we would email them a shipping label, they would ensure they got back to us. Well they did and I can't say enough about that! We did laundry the first night we were there and the machines were well cared for and worked fantastic. All in all, we will book this again and again!

Very nice campground on the water very close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. We greatly enjoyed our stay here in September 2024.
