Bathroom not always clean and no activity for young adults nor music of any entertainment! Food and firewood way to high when you can buy across the street for $5.00! The view was nice though. I think overall the camp site is priced to expensive! I felt bad that my children didn’t have anything to do while staying here.

Our stay at the Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA was incredible! From the delivery of ice and wood, the kid activities, the Lobster Trap Cafe, the train rides around the park, it was nothing short of spectacular! Waking up to the smells, sounds, and views of the ocean was breathtaking. We would highly recommend!

We had a beautiful site, however, there were sites in the campground that were much less appealing. I guess it depends on the pricing level you choose. We have camped at many KOAs and this one has some amenities that I've not seen at other KOAs such as a Honey Wagon service that will come to your rig and pump out your sewer system. Staff and service was great.

Great location, great shuttle bus to Acadia and town. HORRIBLE WiFi Patio sites were shoddy, some sites were nice, but others were tucked in in a weird orientation. Grounds could be better manicured considering the money coming into this place. Great snack bar, laundry and dog park.Loved to ocean view positioned Adirondack chairs. No swim pool,or decent beach access . Kid park dangerous,no fence

What a great experience here at the KOA Bar Harbor/Oceanside. Our cabin was clean and well taken care of, the bath house was always kept clean, and the view WOW is just a beautiful site to see. Someday we will be back to visit this amazing distention.

Gorgeous campground, we had one of the best sites near the ocean. I totally understand you should expect dogs at campgrounds but there were people walking them THROUGH campsites, which is totally not cool/not proper campground etiquette. One woman walked her dog through someone's site who had their own dog and gave THEM dirty looks when THEIR dog started going nuts. I'm coming back in off season!

Bathrooms were not clean as normal. Paper towels never worked The grounds were not maintained very well These are the things that always impressed us before.

Everyone was friendly, the cabin was clean, the location was close to Acadia. We would recommend this location and would enjoy staying here again! Thanks for a great visit!

Deluxe studio cabin was just right for our fam of 4 (two adults two kids under 10) and we also enjoyed the screened-in porch to have some additional room to spread out and relax. Campfire area was perfect setup for our extended family to join us at the fire and roast mallows. Staff were super friendly - even stopped by our site & adjusted our kiddo's bike seat for him as we didn't have tools! A+

Very pleasant stay at Oceanside KOA in Bar Harbor area. Close to all the things we wanted to see and do. Offers amazing views. Clean campground, soft green grass for the dogs. Lobster truck onsite was a bonus. Received a chewy package with ease, the office called and left me a message. All in alll the best place to stay if you want to visit this area. Free public transportation stops here.

Checkin went smoothly. We found several issues with our cabin as well as the cost we paid. We stayed for 5 days with another family who stayed in a deluxe cabin like ours for the same amount of time. They paid significantly less and had a full sized refrigerator, a stove and other accommodations that our cabin did not have. We found it hard to believe we paid more and yet received less features.

Beautiful spot in the "cozy oceanfront" site #308. KOA has a fabulous property there along the coast. Great views and activities for kids and adults alike. Just wish everything wasn't so expensive...I've had oceanfront sites before in the last 25 years and here I paid more than double the cost of my previous most expensive site. This area is for those with deep pockets who don't care about price.

Very friendly staff and our site right on the water was outstanding! Great location too. However, the shower/bathroom situation needs improving. Our biggest complaint is that we waited in line every night to shower. There were only three showers on our side of the campground, which was shared by numerous RV sites and tent campers. The tent area needs its own showers. WiFi was nonexistent.

We had an awesome 11 day stay at the KOA. The waterfront location is spectacular. The staff was very helpful, the daily communication was great. Plenty of activities for the kids. Te on site lobster shack is a nice touch. I’d rate this location a 5 star except the wi-fi is spotty, our site was difficult to level and had a little too much dirt for our liking, overall we had. We’ll be back.

We stayed two nights in a camping cabin while visiting Acadia National Park. The cabin suited our needs perfectly. We appreciated the mini fridge and the coffee pot that takes kcups. The mattress was a little thin for us. We did end up putting the twin mattresses underneath to make it more comfortable! We also recommend putting signage on the gravel road leading to the cabin parking. Thanks!

We were very impressed by all the amenities that the deluxe cabin came with. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay. Thank you for quickly helping my other group with their cold water and lack of a porch door. That quick attention really makes an impression. Having things like a lobster bake offered is a huge plus. We will certainly be back.

We had horrible customer service by the three women at the desk on 7/20/25. Large branch broke off over our tent (that happens, I understand) and the women at the desk laughed at us, called it the widow maker, belittled us and refused to even move our firewood. There were cabins available and they refused bc of the 2 night req.Incredibly rude, you lost a loyal customer.Manager did help eventually.

Location is amazing, right on the waterfront, close to Acadia National Park. I was disappointed in the layout of the sites, very close together and at odd angles. Picnic table/firepit placement made it very difficult to get into my site correctly even with very small trailer. I had to move my tow vehicle (which was inches from my trailer) for another trailer to be able to park.

We had so much fun in Acadia and our cabin was outfitted perfectly for our needs. Loved having the mini fridge and coffee maker, electricity to charge our devices and cozy enough beds to sleep in to be in prepared for the next day of adventures. The staff were kind and helpful. Lovely beaches at the campsite too!

Everything was perfect! The campground had everything we needed, great location in relation to Acadia and downtown, all the facilities were clean, and the staff was beyond friendly! I’ve already recommended this KOA to multiple people, before even leaving to head home from our trip, and I can’t wait to return again in the future!

We liked our cabin, but for some reason it smelled like a barnyard. I went and got a candle and air freshener. It helped some. Our clothes even picked up the smell. Otherwise everything was great.

I love this campground, specifically site 373. We've been staying here annually for the past 10+ years. Staff is very engaging and friendly, the site has the most gorgeous sunsets. My only issue (especially the past 2 years) people come down into the site to "look around" or even watch the sunset. This is not ok. Maybe there should be a sign reminding people of campers etiquett?

This was our first time at Bar Harbor Oceanside but we frequent other KOA’s and we absolutely loved our time here. So many great Amenities and it was almost like Hotel service with how helpful the staff is. We loved the Lobster trap cafe and the beautiful views and sunsets. Staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The sunsets were spectacular. The sites were very tight and needed more gavel. The WiFi was awful and the only tv channels were 4 PBS.

Our family had a great time at this campground. There were a lot of activities and things for the kids to do. They loved the golf cart train ride and the bounce pad. The location was great as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We would love to spend more time here next time we come up from Florida.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Items ordered from the store were delivered promptly. When we requested two extra dining chairs for the cabin one evening it rained, they were more than accommodating. Would highly recommend for an affordable hotel alternative.

Very convenient and close for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We go there every year with a very large group of friends. They all had the same feedback: the staff is very welcoming , very easy/simple to checkin. Wonderful and clean facilities. It is the best of the best, thanks to Michael the manager and his staff, they always make our stay magic, and very memorable. We love it, and we will be back soon !!

This campground is awesome! Acadia was incredible, Bar Harbor was amazing, and this place puts you right in the middle of all the action. You're just minutes from Acadia National Park and minutes from town, which makes it super convenient for exploring everything in the area. The service and people here are top notch—friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning. I would 100% recommend this campground to anyone visiting Acadia or Bar Harbor
