We have stayed at the Bar Harbor Koa/Oceanside several times and it never disappoints. The campground is well run, the facilities are clean and the staff is very helpful. The views from the campsites are some of the best on Mt Desert. The Sunday pancake breakfast was a nice treat along with the homemade pies that were available to buy at your campsite. The store delivery service was a bonus.

WE enjoyed the area and all the activities available. The cabin was very nice and supplied everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to have more hooks for hanging towels and clothing and maybe a small stand or something for those who do not have the bedroom..

Being on a bus stop is a major benefit. For the benefit of anyone unfamiliar with Airstreams simple written instructions on how things work would be helpful

Reservations were easy . Very accommodating! Very quiet. Little difficult to find should be more signs for anyone coming in after dark. Would return for sure.

We reserve the same site every year at the same time even though this KOA. is a little pricey. We love the close proximity to the ocean, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The staff are always friendly and helpful and we appreciate their willingness to assist in any way.

The staff was great. Loved that the Island Exployer had a pick up at the KOA. Our site 116 was unacceptable. Every time you stepped out of our door we were in dirt. Never been in a more dirty site and I payed twice as much as other places at your KOA. I couldn’t wait to move on.

Facilities were clean and the campers generally abided by the silent hours. Getting things from the camp store was made easy by the free delivery service offered. The only downsides were (1) the campsites were very close together with no real privacy, and (2) the website made it seem as though the sand campsites were on the waterfront but in face that was not the case.

This year we stayed in 806. I chose it for the screened in porch! We loved the porch! We both feel that the cabin fell short of providing a comfortable MATTRESS. It’s time to get rid of it!! I was disappointed in what was included in the kitchen area! No running water, toaster or utensils to eat! We brought our own bread and could not toast it!! Also in the shower there were NO grab bars !

We booked the cabin with the loft. When we got there, we realized the loft was not gonna work for three adults went to the front office and asked if we could switch to another cabin and they were able to accommodate us.

I stayed in KOA camps in the past and always have had a good experience. Your camp is no different, everything went good, cabin was nice and clean, the only downside was one of the toilets clocked in the morning. Overall, I had a great time

The stay was fine. We had the power we needed for the night. But we ended up paying 145 US dollars. It was one of 2 that were available when I booked. The view of the water was not worth that much money. Sorry!

Spots are a little tight but the campground is neat and clean. We had a great spot on the ocean. Camp staff very helpful. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Our cabin was moldy (including on the doors and in the AC unit) and all four members of our party got sick because of it.

It was so nice to have an ocean front all to yourselves. Watching the sunsets each night was amazing! Will be returning in June 2025.

Had an amazing site right on the water. Ended up staying more on site than going into town. The people running the place were extremely helpful and accommodating. Hope to be back again next year.

A great time at a very nice place. We had a beautiful oceanfront site that made a weeks stay not long enough. The office and grounds staff were all very friendly and helpful in every regard. I'd highly recommend Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA to everyone and look forward to visiting again myself.

Loved the location! 15 minutes to the Acadia National Park entrance! So many great hikes! Great dining in Bar Harbor! Great sunsets from the campground every night! Right on the water! Lobster Truck on site! Great experience!

A little pricy, but we did enjoy our oceanfront site. The firewood was way to expensive.

The campground is really nice. We enjoyed the sunset patio and the Lobster Trap Cafe. All of the staff were very friendly. Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

Nice facility with a beautiful view and solid services (food, bathrooms, etc.). We were disappointed by management’s response to a noise complaint. A neighboring couple decided to bring a portable speaker to the beach during sunset and blared the music for 90 minutes. They continued doing so from their camp site for another 120 minutes. Management did not respond to two requests to deal with it

We got there early after driving a very long distance and we weren't allowed to check in until allowed time. They were also not friendly. Couldn't even stay in the parking lot. Also had to leave a day early and wouldn't refund the day. Life happens and they couldn't have been a little compassionate. Bathrooms dirty, runned down and small. Site was overgrown and blocked water views.

The service was so friendly and crazy fast (I think they were just waiting for me to order wood or ice �) And the cleanliness was great. More amenities than I could use in a month. And the beauty of the area soothed my soul.

We have a large, level pull-through site with a gorgeous water view. The staff members were helpful and very polite, and the campground was immaculately clean. A perfect “10”!!

Five stars! Great service, great staff, great location!! We stayed in a ocean view (premium site) for our stay to say location, location, location WOW what a view sunrises and sunsets every day! Quiet location! Clean restrooms and showers and less than 20 min away from Acadia! Worth every penny we will be back!

We loved LOVED loved this campground. The staff was friendly,informative and made you feel like lifelong friends in conversation. The views all around were stunning. We loved the rock fire puts but not all sites had them. Ours didn't and that made us all very sad as they are super cool. The kids had fun hunting for crabs in the shallow waters and I really enjoyed looked for little shells. The bathrooms were nice and clean. More clean in the morning than evening, obviously. And the water was HOT. I liked the individual showers. My son could go with me and I didn't have to send hi. With his brother. He is still not at the size I want to send him in a male restroom alone to shower. So, that was nice, we could get showers next to each other and I didn't have to worry. This place is located close to acadia national park and bar harbor. We were all over both lol The campground has its own little restaurant which is also a nice perk. We would definitely stay here again and for longer next time.
