Lot was extremely small. Camper and vehicle couldn’t fit on one lot. Most sites appears to have people living there

I agree the site was small for your 32' fifth wheel. We recommended that you go on a different site since you had a large camper but you did not want to pay the extra charge. The site you chose is for a pop up, van or smaller camper, but you knew better! Less the 1/4 of our sites are long term.

My boys enjoyed the ping pong tables and activities. Holden A Cone was a delicious treat. One thing I would change are the dryers. The dryers worked in 15 minute increments.

The dryers run in 5 minute increments not 15. For every quarter you put in, you get 5 minutes. You can put up to 19 quarters in at a time for a total of 95 minutes. Glad the boys enjoyed themselves.

We were in a patio pull thru site. It was a great site with lots of shade. We were worried about putting our canopy out because of the sap from the trees but fortunately did not need it. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The only reason I did not give it a five was because it took us almost 2 hours to level up. Apparently they add gravel every year but it sinks.

Only stayed one night, would definitely return & stay longer. Hosts were very friendly & extremely helpful. Love the beer koozies. Great amenities!

the sites were very close together. Our neighbors campfire was about three feet from our bedroom. Wifi which we counted on to fill out Canadian claim forms etc was pretty non existent despite they’re attempts. so if wifi is vip for your planning this is not the place fir you.

As we explained to you our vendor Spectrum's equipment went down. They came out 3 days later & spend 2 hours fixing it. We offered you to have us print the paperwork for you & you refused. You complained 4 times to us and we explained that we were waiting on Spectrum. You had no one next to you.

This Campground had the basic amenities, however when checking in I was challenged about the amps our motorhome needed. I said my husband and I are not new campers - we've been camping for quite a few years. After double- checking with my husband, we were given the "ok" to stay at the site we had chosen. A little disheartening as a "welcome". No other contact with any staff over our stay.

We had a two-night stay and was very comfortable, sites are well kept and easy to inter, all the hookups were easy and worked fine. A lot for kids and adults to take part in and we had a great pizza delivered to our site. Will stay there again this season as it is only minutes from home.

Chris is extremely rude to his customers. He banned my mother for leaving an honest review and then continued to tell her that none of her family was welcomed back, including me who was not even part of that review. I called to let him know that I was not pleased with that. He was very disrespectful to me on the phone so as he raised his voice, I raised mine. Very disappointed with the disrespect.

I think the front desk is rude and argumentative. I wanted to cancel because I found out I had Covid and wanted to change my paid reservation to another weekend and was flat out denied any compensation. The Augusta KOA I found out the following week had the same symptoms and they gave them a full refund except 10$, that’s much better customer service.

When we arrived we found out that our site had an actual dump station on it. This should not be allowed. People across from us were partying one night and decided it was ok to walk through our campsite and then one of them decided to urinate on our site with us sitting right there. The wifi doesn't work, can't watch TV at all because it doesn't keep working. There is no way we would go back.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!!! We drove 1800 miles & picked Bangor/Holden KOA as our home for 4 nights. Would happily stay there again if our travels point that way!

In December 2021 l made an error to my Memorial Day stay. The owner, Chris told, no problem during a March telephone conversation. He offered to change my site and provide a cash refund for my KOA discount upon my arrival. Not only did I not get my refund, I was upcharged to 2022 rates. Not a good customer experience. They required removal of toads at checkin resulting in unsafe road access.

You threatened us with a bad review if I didn't discount the site. Stop blackmailing us! 2022 prices were established when we opened 2022 bookings! No error was made, you wanted to move to be with a friend. They booked a w/e/s site & you booked a w/e site. You wanted $20 back for an upgraded site?

We had a great time. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was great, and there many activities for kids AND adults. Everything was kept clean, pool was great and the kids loved the play area. We booked our next visit before we left. We will most definitely be back again and again!

Easy check in. Nice store, restaurant and icecream stand on site. Recommend leveling the back in sites as they are on a significant slope. Overall a very nice place

The staff was very welcoming and despite not having a reservation, we felt very at home. The camp store was very well stocked for all camper needs. Would definitely go back!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bangor/Holden KOA in late August 2021. We truly fell in love with the area during our stay and enjoyed the amenities at the campground. My husband and I really enjoyed our time chatting with you in the shop and we look forward to returning to Acadia NP & your KOA for our return visit!

Awesome Koa, the owners were great to work with friendly, game yard games and playground very nice. Ice cream shop and café was super. Only one thing I have a concern with is the restrooms could be remodeled. Great stop.

Our KOA hosts were the best. They were very helpful on places to see and explore in the area even drew a map for us to use on our daily trips to the coast. They helped us find things we otherwise would not have found. We will be returning to this KOA as soon as we can schedule another trip.

Really great KOA. Staff very friendly and professional staff. Location is pretty good to drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia for everything there. Sites and lanes are nice gravel and everything else is grass. Recommended.

Owner rude we were suppose to have a pull through we could not sling far enough out to get in the spot so we got stuck in the grass and had to be pulled out the park was empty but he would move us we had to get cars to move to back in and the camp dump station was on our site just 30 feet from our door and next to the picnic table and he would not let us use points to pay

You asked to use points AFTER you checked in and then said you would use them at the next KOA. You did have a pull thru, and yet you drove 15" off the road. The park was not empty; if it were why did you need cars to move? Dump station was 30'away.30'!! It must be somewhere and the table could move.

Site 32 was tough for our 35 ft travel trailer to be set up due to 2 trees, one on each side of site. we were not able to open our awning. The framework of the awning had about an inch clearance. Our bedroom slideout just cleared the tree on the other side.

Great KOA with all the normal amenities you would expect. The staff is super helpful, very friendly, and have great positive uplifting attitudes. When we first arrived, it rained pretty hard. We asked a neighbor if it had been raining a lot, and he said he had been here for 3 weeks and it hadn't stopped yet. We stayed for 2 weeks, and ended up with like 4 sunny days without rain. This meant that the entire campsite was pretty thoroughly flooded, and our entire yard had standing water with a nice big mud patch right at our front steps. It was so wet that the staff couldn't even mow until our second to last day, so the grass was getting pretty long and soggy. Despite all of the negative weather, the staff maintained their positive attitude, and did not cancel any of their fun events and activities. Even though the pool and bounce pad were out of commission, they more than made up for it with indoor crafts, events, and fun hangouts at the club house. The entrance is EXTREMELY tight. If you are towing a vehicle, I highly recommend you disconnect before pulling in. We did not, and we did not make it through the entrance either. Staff was once again super helpful in getting us unstuck, and gave us the time and space to maneuver safely, instead of rushing us out of the road like we have experienced at other camps, including some highly rated KOA's. The park store here is probably the biggest and most well stocked store we have seen in over a year, and the pizza, sandwiches, and ice cream are tasty and worth sampling. Jones Lobster Company right down the road really does have the BEST lobster rolls, and the best tasting lobster we had during our entire stay in Maine. We camped at Bangor / Holden KOA in a Motorhome. Detracting 1 star due to the water becoming non-potable during our stay due to their septic overflowing into their well contaminating it with e coli.

Stayed here for the Summer 23 Season. Lance and his crew really worked hard all season upgrading the place and if you ever needed anything they were great. Disregard the negative old reviews from prior ownership. Would of signed up for next season but work isn't gonna have me up there.
