The campground, cabin, and bathrooms were all super clean. The cabin had a sheet on the mattresses which is nice and different. 99% of the KOAs I have been never do that in the non linen cabins.

This KOA is lovely and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful! Some people commented about road noise but it wasn’t that noticeable to us. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers have been updated and were very clean. Best showers I’ve used at a KOA in a while! It would be helpful if all KOA cabins had mini fridges to make it easier than having to keep buying ice. We will be back!!

The campgrounds were well maintained and clean. So we're the cabins. However, my biggest concern is the showers in the deluxe cabin. I've stayed at many KOAs before, most of the time in the standard cabin without a bathroom. Our deluxe cabin did not have hot or even warm water in the shower. We brought this up multiple times to the front desk with no resolution. Very disappointed.

We have stayed at this location before, and it is the reason why we returned. This place is amazing. The host Fronka (sp?) was so sweet and very helpful with places to visit during our stay. Cabin was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for making our weekend getaway perfect

Our deluxe cabin overall was great. Spider webs showed in corners and around bathroom lighting. No active spiders, just a few pesky stink bugs. Cable for the living room tv didn’t work. Shower was poorly designed but more convenient than walking to an outhouse. We would stay here again.

The campground is in a very private location although quite close to Interstate 40. There are lots of lovely shade trees all around the campground. The campground is on a little hilltop and so there was a nice breeze. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable, with a large deck and a gas grille, and also a fire ring and chairs. The KOA staff welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay, however, prior to our stay, I checked their website and it said "bring your own linens" and we showed up and all of those things were supplied as well as a fully stocked kitchen. It would have been nice to have left my items at home. The other thing I want to mention is that there were spiderwebs all over the ceiling rafters and the ceiling fan. I actually cleaned them up :(

Staff was very friendly. It met our needs when we were displaced from our house for a couple of days. Walk to bathroom was easy and bathrooms were clean. For price would have liked tv and mini fridge and our own fire ring. Would stay again

Enjoyed the park. Very clean, very quiet. 1st time ever staying in a camping cabin. Unfortunately that little of a mattress made for a restless and sore night sleep. I didnt like the community fire pit for the cabins. Unfortunately was full of people and kids all night. We were wanting a more intimate quieter fire, but oh well.

We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe cabin and enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great including the pool and the trails. We brought bed linens but the bed was all ready for us so we didn't have to use ours.

Absolutely amazing ! Peaceful, relaxing ! The campground is 5 minutes from Dollar general 15 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants and approximately 25 minutes from downtown! Staff is great! Campground is clean and quiet ! You occasionally hear the noise from the interstate but it didn't bother us at all. Thank you ! We had an amazing stay ! We will return !

I have stayed in the cabins twice at this KOA (with and without bathrooms). Both times I found the cabins, showers and bathrooms very clean and the grounds well cared for. The staff has been exceptionally kind and helpful. I have stayed at many KOA campgrounds over the past 20 years and found this one to be one I would gladly return to.

This campground is very clean and I know it is older so space is a little of an issue especially with parking. However, all facilities are super clean and well kept. I do wish the playground was closer to the pool area would be more of a convenience for adults and kids. The community garden and store has a lot to choose from and there is a Dollar General less than 2 miles.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the smaller cabins. I've stayed in many KOA cabins over the years, and I really like the layout here. Five cabins surrounding a common use pavilion with a grill, stove and sink. There is also a fire pit with swinging benches. We used the grill and sink to make dinner one night. The bathrooms and showers are close by. The campground is quiet and well maintained.

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again. Edit: 2026 - We did visit again! And despite them having had to cope with the hurricane situation, this place still rocks! It feels like they took the opportunity to not just restore, but even improve. Sites are more level, and they have a great cabin area for a family reunion. And next time, we intend to make this a destination choice. Oh- and Kimberly and Heather are terrific!

We used a campsite with an awning and a 30 amp outlet. The owners and staff are very competent, friendly and accommodating. We took a dip in the pool before we turned in. We used the laundry that new machines. We had a look at a cabin. The cabins have a shared cooking facility. I think we stay there again. Fantastic experience.
