Nice park, mostly level gravel sites. Close to I40 but the road noise was not an issue for us. Be sure and follow the park’s directions from their website, do not trust your GPS.

For an overnight stop, it was okay. The facilities were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, but the campground is very tight and compact for larger rigs.

Great one night stay! Employees very friendly and helpful. Easy in and out. Campground just a little noisy due to proximity to the highway. Office handed out ear plugs but we didn't need them.

Freeway truck traffic noise makes this the worse KOA we have ever visited. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Was an overnight stay…2 of the 4 showers were out of order, and 1 of the 2 working ones had no shower head. The campground seems more rundown than previously. This was our 4th visit to this KOA.

We do prefer an escort to our site, which was not provided. And the site was not very level. The road noise is loud. But was a fairly pleasant campground.

The traffic noise from I-40 was an issue for us. The staff was wonderful and gave us tips to assist us with this issue, but nothing that would work. The setting is lovely- we love the trees and fauna.

Road noise very bad. My site was probably closest to I-40 …. Not more. Than 100 yards away and did not sleep much.

Beautiful park, well maintained and super friendly staff. Really enjoyed our 4 day stay and will definately stay again next time we are out this way. Thanks for a great experience.

Super friendly staff. Horribly unlevel sites. Pretty muddy after a rain. Pitiful WiFi and cell service. Fairly close to Asheville, Biltmore, Maggie Valley, Cherokee. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they improved the leveling of the sites and their WiFi service. Many other options available in the area.

Had this been my first KOA stay, I'd never camp at another KOA. Two of the showers (50%) were marked out of order and the other two had posted signs to take a military bath, whatever that is. This problem with water or equipment it should have been disclosed prior to reservation. The roads are more dirt than gravel, the area for campsites is sloped and the grass needed cutting. Not KOA quality.

We had a great stay! The campground was extremely clean and well managed. I read some previous comments about the sounds from the highway. We barely noticed them! Oh, and my pup loved the nature trails!

Arrived in the afternoon and was able to check in. We got set up and looked around at other sites. These were kinda tight but did have enough room to move around. The dog walking area was large enough. We found everything clean and well kept. All in all it was a very positive stay, staff was friendly and was eager to attend to any needs. We would recommend staying at this KOA.

We enjoyed our Asheville KOA visit! Your location made it easy for us to visit the Biltmore Estate, as well as access to the Blue Ridge Parkway!! One of our favorite experiences was the opportunity for taking a balloon ride near Asheville!! Thanks The Anderson’s!!

Lovely staff-just a joy to talk with as well as very helpful. The park is clean and well maintained. Road noise is high, yet not a mark against the park but one of its characteristics.

Heather was soooo helpful with changing plans we cannot say thank you enough. the park is surrounded by wonderful trees. nice gravel sites in our area. we did not need to level.

The area is perfect for sightseeing some nice trails. The noise from the interstate is a problem, but we used earplugs and it was fine to sleep. Very clean and the staff was very, very friendly.

Staff are very nice, well stocked store. Thumbs up on the banana pudding ice cream bar!! Pull through site was large enough to stay hooked up. Reviews mentioned highway noise but this didn’t bother us at all. Ear plugs are given out in the office if you need them. We would stay again.

Convenient and the staff is very friendly. Campground needs a makeover. Sites are gravel and not very level. Road noise is very loud to the point of having ear plugs for you. But again the staff is very friendly.

The park is cute. Easily accessible off the highway. The park grounds are a bit hilly. The owner -Heather - was most hospitable. She even helped up with a wood and ice delivery after hours. I couldn't get it all on my bike:)Our site backed on to a bit of a gorge, quite pretty. Checkin super easy. Overall our stay was very nice and convenient. Thanks!!

It was nice, the staff was friendly. The sites were a little tight for our rig! And the sewer hole wasn’t close to the other valves. It was hard to fit the truck and trailer on the site without disconnecting which is what we wanted because we left early in the next morning.

Pros: friendly staff, convenient to freeway Cons: tight spots, not many amenities for price Bottom line is location, location, location Ok for 1 nite stay.

The staff was great to give us the best spot available. She was incredibly welcoming. The river was really pretty and a nice quiet place for fishing. I would stay again. Lots of beautiful trees and a good size dog park the pups loved.

Many trees around the campground blocks most of the highway view. Nice walking trail for us and the pups. Very clean and nice sized dog park. Staff is efficient and friendly.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...
