We stayed one night on our way to Florida. The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived at 5:30 and the office was closed but our check in materials were easy to find. Our campsite was fairly level and the bathrooms were clean. There was a lot of highway noise.

From our first contact to our last, this KOA stood out. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is super clean. I appreciated the pet friendly touches. The pet waste stations were well stocked and maintained. The dog park was phenomenal. Great size and the gate was escape proof. The perimeter hike and scavenger hunt kept this 60 year old entertained. I highly recommend!

Always a pleasure to stay here. Staff is so upbeat, kind, and helpful. Bathrooms spotlessly cleaned. Common areas and camp spots are very well looked after.

The campgrounds were well maintained and clean. So we're the cabins. However, my biggest concern is the showers in the deluxe cabin. I've stayed at many KOAs before, most of the time in the standard cabin without a bathroom. Our deluxe cabin did not have hot or even warm water in the shower. We brought this up multiple times to the front desk with no resolution. Very disappointed.

We have stayed at this location before, and it is the reason why we returned. This place is amazing. The host Fronka (sp?) was so sweet and very helpful with places to visit during our stay. Cabin was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for making our weekend getaway perfect

Although my stay was just one night and just after a snowstorm, you could see that they are working hard to get back to normal after the ravages of Hurricane Helene last year. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I worked absolutely stay with them again..

The woman that checked us in this past Saturday was wonderful. She exuded kindness and helpfulness. We also appreciated the hot showers. It took no time at all for the water to be the appropriate temperature.

Site was very clean as were the facilities very clean and well-stocked. The staff was super friendly and very responsive! The only drawback is the site is very close to I-40 and traffic noise was a bit annoying, though not unbearable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very friendly staff, flexible and ready to assist to make my stay enjoyable. Clean campgrounds and bath house. The only complaint, my Granddaughter (and I) think the playground needs some improvements. Nice pavilion and equipment however, and I need to come back in warm weather to enjoy the pool.

We had stayed here before and made reservations on Dec 2 during a special promotion. When we arrived we discovered I had made the reservation with Asheville East not West. The management at West was very accommodating and allowed us to stay there. The next morning East issued a credit for that reservation. Thanks to KOA team for solving this situation.

Very clean facilities and laundry room. Everyone at the KOA were very pleasant and accomodating. Grounds were kept immaculate. Would diffently stay again when passing through. Thanks to all at this KOA and Merry Christmas to all.

Very nice campground, easy off and on highway. lots of shade easy pull thru site for 43 ft towing a vehicle. Close to many activities and stores. Very clean, will stop here again on my way back thru.

A convenient one-night stay. Easy access from I-40. Very well-maintained campground. Very clean restrooms. Nice office and store with some basic food, drink and camping necessities. Juliana was very nice and helpful, and it was an easy check in. Online reservation system worked great. I will stay here again.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Beautiful area. Clean and nice sites. Very dog friendly. And super friendly staff. Little noise from the interstate but not unbearable would definitely go bavk

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again. Edit: 2026 - We did visit again! And despite them having had to cope with the hurricane situation, this place still rocks! It feels like they took the opportunity to not just restore, but even improve. Sites are more level, and they have a great cabin area for a family reunion. And next time, we intend to make this a destination choice. Oh- and Kimberly and Heather are terrific!
