We had some frustrating camper issues and had to extend our stay. They did everything to accommodate us during this time!! Thank you so Much!

The office staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave us treats (for us and our dogs) when we arrived and were helpful when we needed to extend our stay. The road noise from I40 was much louder than I expected. It was hard having conversations or listening to music sitting outside. Also, the guy directing us to our site didn't know where our site was and got lost. We went on without him.

This KOA is lovely and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful! Some people commented about road noise but it wasn’t that noticeable to us. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers have been updated and were very clean. Best showers I’ve used at a KOA in a while! It would be helpful if all KOA cabins had mini fridges to make it easier than having to keep buying ice. We will be back!!

This is our second stay—last time was before the storm. While some construction was still being done, our experience was fine. Spot was level. All amenities and services worked fine. We were very satisfied with our stay and will not hesitate to stay here the next time we are in the Asheville area.

Just overnight but the communications were really good. Site was very suitable for overnight stay. Convenient to highway and local services and attractions.

The campground in all is very nice. They are still rebounding from Hurricane Helene after 2 yrs, we stayed in site B17 which is a pullthru and we struggled to get our camper level. Biggest hurdle and of no fault of the campground is Highway (I40) road noise. Staff very friendly and working hard to help campers.

We realize they are still recovering from Helene damage. Our first site was so not level that we had to move to another site. Also it was very hard to back into. Our second site was nicer but we lost power on the second day. The only solution was to use an extension cord and plug into the site next to us. The staff was helpful in that they left that site open so we could have power. Needs work.

Great staff. Nice tree canopy and well spaced sites. It is a little far from Asheville very limited restaurants and no grocery stores nearby. Noise from adjacent I-40 was not a problem when inside our rig, but sometimes quite loud outside. This park was quite dusty due to recent drought, then muddy after rain finally arrived this week. Paved pads would be helpful, at least on premium sites.

Excellent staff! We got a late start due to mechanics and weather abd Kimberly kept in contact with us to make sure we made it there safe and sound. Only reason I gave 4 stars is due to it being a smaller campground and right on I40 so traffic noise can be a bit much. Great place to stay, though, for a couple of nights.

We loved the nature trails and how peaceful this stay was. The game room was stocked and the covered patio area has some life size games to play as well.

A quick overnight on our way to Chapel Hill, NC. Nice, friendly clean, close to Interstate 40 so a little noisy.

Loved the chocolate treats for us and the treats for the dogs. Trails in the woods were a plus. Water pressure was great.

We had a great visit to Asheville & loved having a clean & convenient place to come back to & relax. This KOA has a cute, well stocked store, friendly staff, INCREDIBLE coffee, super clean retrooms & some good trails & grounds to explore. We love this KOA & are looking fwd to enjoying the pool & having some ice cream on our visit later this summer.

Park was very nicely maintained. Used laundry, clean and reasonably priced. Staff wonderful. Aim to please. Realize they are still in recovery from Hurricane Helene. Site very rough, not level. Would still go back when in the area.

The location is great for visiting Asheville; however, highway noise at night from tractor trailers is very loud. Such a beautiful area to be ruined by noise pollution. Bathrooms were very clean and all staff were helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, due to night time traffic, would not return nor recommend.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Beautiful area. Clean and nice sites. Very dog friendly. And super friendly staff. Little noise from the interstate but not unbearable would definitely go bavk

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again. Edit: 2026 - We did visit again! And despite them having had to cope with the hurricane situation, this place still rocks! It feels like they took the opportunity to not just restore, but even improve. Sites are more level, and they have a great cabin area for a family reunion. And next time, we intend to make this a destination choice. Oh- and Kimberly and Heather are terrific!
