It was a nice place to stop for a night on our journey home. They have a pool and some trails, staff are very friendly and helpful. Not sure I would stay for too long but makes a good stop along the way

Staff very friendly, campground clean, gave 2 stars based solely for the highway noise. Had to sleep with ac fan on instead of being able to enjoy the cooler weather with windows open. While sitting outside couldn’t enjoy the sounds of nature just heard highway traffic all day & night. They should at least put on their website that very loud highway noise can be heard to give people the option

Them staff in the office was AWESOME, we got there early and they let us check in so we could get to Biltmore Estates for our tour. But after arriving my wife was out walking the dogs and one of the camp host yelled at her from her camper that she couldn't walk the dogs there that they had to be on the outside of the perimeter! My wife didn't know we just got there and they didn't tell us that.

The best thing about this stay was the staff. They were super nice, very friendly. The campground itself left a lot to be desired. Plenty of room for vast improvements. Level sites would be a great place to start. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done for the horrible highway and travel center noise.

We booked a tent site but due to weather related conditions and traveling with children, they were able to accommodate a stay in a basic camping cabin and it worked perfect! Thank you so much for the great hospitality!!

The staff was excellent and even called us to make certain we would still be there due to numerous accidents and construction zones that we encountered. The camp was clean and well maintained as were the restrooms and showers.

Very nice stay, clean and spacious. Only drawback was our neighbor stared at us a lot which made us uncomfortable. But there are a lot of trees for privacy.

I arrived early and they were able to accommodate me. The KOA is a very nice and well kept property. They are still recovering from Helene but they did a wonderful job. Some of the businesses haven’t recovered yet so if you go to this extremely beautiful area support the local business. If you’re traveling near to Asheville stop in you won’t be disappointed

Always pleasurable with beautiful grounds and people. One of our favorite places to stay. We love it there as well as the close proximity to Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Lovely all around.

The campground was clean and neat. The raised flower beds were already up with tomatoes 6 inches high. Flowers starting to bloom. The trees were so thick I could barely see the road. It was a nice stay.

Not a fancy stay. Rock pads but very well mantained. Bath house was clean. Pool was well kept. Camp store had basic needs. Check in was great and staff were very nice. Camp is close by Ashville but out of the crowds. I would definitly stay again.

You need to post a sign to walk on roadways and not through campsites. Everyday someone was walking through our site.

This rating is completely based on the road noise. We were in the F section and the noise was incredibly loud. It’s right next to the interstate. Sites and roads are gravel. Landscaping needs some improvement. Woman at the office, Lisa, was very nice.

We had a great stay, staff was awesome. We ran out of forks and even though the store didn’t have it, the girl was able to find a handful to help us through the stay. Sites were very well maintained and trash picked up daily. THANK YOU!!

The cabin and camp grounds were well maintained. The only issue was the toilet in the cabin was too small other than that the stay was great.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Beautiful area. Clean and nice sites. Very dog friendly. And super friendly staff. Little noise from the interstate but not unbearable would definitely go bavk

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again. Edit: 2026 - We did visit again! And despite them having had to cope with the hurricane situation, this place still rocks! It feels like they took the opportunity to not just restore, but even improve. Sites are more level, and they have a great cabin area for a family reunion. And next time, we intend to make this a destination choice. Oh- and Kimberly and Heather are terrific!
