This is my second stay. I really enjoy this particular park, it has beautiful walking trails, is convenient to Asheville, & grocery stores. The staff is SO friendly & helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful campground with well maintained big rig friendly sites. Staff were amazing - kind, helpful, and hard working! They were incredibly accommodating when we had to stay much longer than anticipated, due to our motorhome having mechanical issues. Highly recommend!

Most enjoyable KOA I’ve stayed. Everything is clean and tidy. Quiet but for sound of nearby interstate. Look forward to visiting again next year.

Other than the semi-level spaces and running out of ice, the stay was nice and uneventful.

We needed blocks to level our coach, they provided for us, we had a question on our bill, they explained, . everyone there is so nice and helpful.. we'll keep going back. Some names are Sandy, Heather and Gary.

Sites were large and level. Store was well stocked and pool was clean. Workers were about taking care of things. Very nice stay!!

We stayed only one night on our way home to Raleigh. Everything was great. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Site was exactly as expected. Very quiet. Do not follow GPS on the way out. Follow sign from KOA.

The grounds were clean and well kept(except for the root my wife tripped over and fell) the people were helpful and friendly. The weather was great.The price was very reasonable. The only drawback was the constant road noise from the nearby freeway. 8 out of 10

Beautiful campground and excellent staff. Only subtle gripe is the highway noise in the distance, but they don’t hide it, they make sure you are comfortable.

The stay was beyond amazing. We had our family gathering at the pavilion. Thanks to Julia for helping us to make this happen. It was the best gathering ever and EVERYONE was so accommodating and treated us well. We will be doing this annually.

Very nice KOA. The staff is friendly and so helpful. They went above and beyond to find us another spot for our 5th wheel in their park when we were cancelled by our next destination with less than 24 hours notice. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are very clean. The grounds are very well maintained. Nice pool area. It's a great place to stay if you are visiting the Asheville area

The overall stay was nice. However, I'd recommend that all of the utility posts be replaced with higher posts to allow guests to use their surge protectors. The post was so close to the ground that our standard power cord had a difficult time plugging in. I'd also recommend to scrutinize the site sizes when it comes to assignment. Our site was very small (despite providing RV rig dimensions).

Friendly and accommodating staff. Game room was cozy and fun. The laundry room needs more machines since 2 were down for repair. WiFi service is weak in the lower RV sites down the hill. Would be interested to see how this KOA compares to the one west of Asheville.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Beautiful area. Clean and nice sites. Very dog friendly. And super friendly staff. Little noise from the interstate but not unbearable would definitely go bavk

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again. Edit: 2026 - We did visit again! And despite them having had to cope with the hurricane situation, this place still rocks! It feels like they took the opportunity to not just restore, but even improve. Sites are more level, and they have a great cabin area for a family reunion. And next time, we intend to make this a destination choice. Oh- and Kimberly and Heather are terrific!
