This is NOT a park for 45 foot Class A Motorhomes. Roads are narrow in the park along with the sites. Pines tress make turning very difficult and on top of it rocks are strategically placed to damage your rig. Falling pines needles make it mandatory to clean the roof before pulling in your slides. I will give it one thumbs up for a very nice camp store. 45’ Class A, STAY AWAY.

Nice quiet park with good amenities. Loved the laundry room. A little expensive for a full time RV’er but a great place to stay

Disappointed that some of the amenities were not available at the end of the season, however the rate was not discounted

Greeted at check-in an hour early but a very cheery Sheila was very nice, friendly, & accommodating in getting us our site. Then, an equally cheery Janice took about 5 minutes to explain all I wanted to know about the area & best way to head southeast in 2 days when departing. All facilities here were clean, site was level & just a great camping experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! We liked it so much we extended for 1 more day. My only suggestion was dog waste stations throughout the park would be nice for dog owners to keep your campground clean. Our site was not level and we felt too close to our neighbors. We will definitely be back.

First I would like to give a shout out to Janice at the desk she was so helpful helping me find out where in town I needed to pick up my tour she was so great ! Then I came back an hour later to book another night and she was able to let us keep our site spot!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful and having them escort you to your site is helpful! Perfect for Yellowstone Park and town.

We enjoyed our stay with you and your location is great for access to Yellowstone. A couple of items I was not particularly happy with during our stay include tons of dog poop around your facility and people exceeding the 5 MPH posted speed limit. It is obvious you are not enforcing your dog pick up rules nor the speed limit. Each time I went into your little dog park I had to pick up poop.

We were there for two nights. It was a nice campground.

Great location, well kept, very friendly staff - reason for 4 stars - I rented a unit with a paw pen, more expensive than the average nightly rate - several guests kept using the paw pen on my reserved lot, although the signage clearly stated it is specifically for my lot - maybe better signage right on the gate and explaining during check-in not to use the paw pens on other's lots would help.

Wonderful campground! So close to Yellowstone. Quiet, clean, very friendly staff.

The RV spaces were narrow. It was hard to level the trailers. We had a time getting close enough to the concrete patio/walkway, so we didn’t trip stepping down out of the the trailer.

Excellent base camp to see everything Friendly staff. Wish pool was open past sept 1 as we arrived on the 30th

We stayed here 5 nights. Nice place, got very crowded on Friday night, which is expected. It was a Holliday weekend(Labor Day). We had stayed in 3 different KOA's before this one. This one seemed over priced. I paid more for this one than the Mount Rushmore KOA and it had more activities. Overall, besides price, nice camp ground.

Staff was great. Showers needed attention. The camper behind us looked as if he lived there with 7 dogs. The site was a mess. The smell of dog poop was a bit overwhelming. The barking was non stop.

Disappointed the swimming pool closed on Sept 1st. Just when us retirees arrived. Keep it open a week longer.

The staff was friendly, very informative of the area, genuinely just nice. The campground itself considering it was the day after a major massive holiday weekend was pristine. It was a very nice stay and very close to the entrance to the Yellowstone park. I do wish they had more “maps” (detailed) of inside the park for me to review before we went in - my only suggestion, They had other stuf

A large campground located 6 miles west of the Yellowstone NP West entrance. High Price point for a campground that did not have a level pad (wheels off the ground on the low side), low water pressure, narrow roads, and cloudy pool water. Nevertheless, overall, an acceptable solution if you are unable to secure a campground spot inside the National Park. Stayed there 5 nights.

Everyone was so very nice and helpful. The kids loved it and we all felt comfortable

We were disappointed with our stay this year. The main bathroom was closed during our stay, you would think you would do repairs after the season. The pool, restaurant and coffee cabin closed the day after we got there, which I understand, but do feel like fees should decrease when you don’t have as many amenities. The bathroom in the middle of the campground was gross, it didn’t look like it

It was very enjoyable.

It was a great stay. The main bathroom wasn't the cleanest all of the time and the pool closed the day before Labor Day. It would have been nice to have it open through Labor Day. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Friendly , helpful staff. Clean and quiet park. Only 10 minutes to west gate Yellowstone.

The park is a nice park. The only downside was we were right by the hwy and the highway noise was a bit much being a light sleeper.

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
