Stayed in back in site along highway. Very loud as traffic never lets up! Pool was very murky. Shower stalls very dirty! More shower stalls needed as the wait line was pretty long. Bathrooms were clean and staff very friendly and helpful though. Interior sites would have been quieter!

Very impressive KOA. Everyone was friendly but Scott at the grill was one amazing guy. He’s definitely the type of person you need around to chat with the guests. He was very helpful with explaining the area and where things are in and around the park!

Our sites were small but level! Our concrete pad was unusable and much smaller than some! To be considered a premium site, the concrete pad should be useable! Our friend had swing that was also very unstable wobbly!

Our stay at Yellowstone Park/West was absolutely great. Many pine trees for shade. Personnel were friendly and willing to go out of their way to help us. The upper sites could be a little bit leveler side to side. Almost everyone struggled to get level. We had to ask for a different site as our first site was about 5 inches low on the downhill side and I didn't have enough blocks to get level.

Great location to access the park. Sites are a little close and drive access was a little questionable but rigs are a lot bigger now than when the park was originally built I'm sure. Would love to see more Paw Pen sites, there were only 3 in this massive park. Everything was clean and maintained, people were friendly and helpful.

Loved our stay at the Yellowstone West Gate KOA. Del and the others at the office were extraordinarily kind and helpful. You can feel the pride they have in their job and their love of Yellowstone and it made it for a great experience. Our kids LOVED the ice cream, the oversized jump pad and park. We fell in love with the area and were thankful to have a great spot to come back to each day!

We stayed for one night on our trip to Yellowstone. The site we had was a very level pull thru. The bathrooms were very clean. The store was stocked with just about anything you’d need. Staff were really nice. It was a very pleasant experience.

The staff here is incredible!!! Especially Del. We love Del!! We drove in with damage to our travel trailer by hitting a patch of "rough road" in the park. The staff recommended a local mobile RV expert, Erik Dawkins. Highly recommend him as well. We had a lovely stay. The facilities here are exceptional. I highly recommend this specific KOA!!!

We would of gave it half star if we could. The showers were not clean we were put by the highway and for 2 days we had very little sleep. We will never stay there again

Way overpriced, charged for things that are free at other campgrounds such as metal recumbent bikes, charged $12 for a tiny bundle of wood (don’t buy it there, bundles are $5 each right next door to the campground). Had a sassy teen answering the phone who was unwilling to ask for help from other staff and just said she didn’t know when asked simple questions. Some of the staff were great, not

The facilities are first-rate. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. The scenic surroundings are breathtaking. The close proximity to Yellowstone is convenient. Though a little higher cost than other RV parks, every cent was worth it. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The site and all the hookups were as described. Being at a KOA you don't expect problems but I had a $100 camp chair stolen from my site when i wasn't there. Lock stuff up before you venture out.

Bathrooms feature dirty floors, no toilet paper, and plugged toilets. When I mentioned this to the several employees standing around the bathroom, they blamed the campers for not flushing the toilet correctly.

The place is nice, we unfortunately were in somewhat of a treeless site with dog feces and hair around us, that was a big disappointment

The swing at our site was not stable - broken chains. As we were packing up to check out on time, a worker decided to mow all the lawns around us creating a huge amount of dust. We found that to be a bit rude. When we checked in we were waiting for a bit for someone to take us to our site. Turned out we were waiting because he was just chatting. Definitely not as good as our stay here 2 years ago

Don was hands down amazing! Bathrooms need more attending to as they get real dirty later in the day! The dust was killer at the top of the hill between the wind and other campers not being considerate when they drove thru camp!

What an awesome place just minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone so much to do for the kids and adults but plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The staff was great and very helpful. We will be coming back soon.

With over 500 sites the bathrooms and showers always had lineups and were not clean. Our party of 4 waited in a line each time we went to the washroom or showered. I booked online not knowing what site we would have - arrived and our site backed onto the ditch of a main highway - we were 10 feet from the ditch of a very busy highway - which was noisy. Not returning or recommending

This is the best KOA we have ever seen! Spent 4 nights in a deluxe site. Sites were level, clean and spacious. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the campground was very family friendly.Lots of activities, but we especially enjoyed the Bearstream Beer Garden and live entertainment every evening and the restaurant had delicious food, especially the Huckleberry peach pie!

We have camped at Yellowstone Park/West Gate KOA many times. They are regularly making updates to the facilities. Nice pool. I like the bikes. It would be nice if they had some regular bikes to ride. The showers in the main building are nice. The showers/bathroom in the tent/cabin area could be updated. Staff is very helpful. Ricky helped us fix our broken awning.

I’m not sure how they choose which spot you get. I booked premium patio, highest price spot 6 months ago. My spot was much smaller than many others. Had a swing that was needing repair. The grass was sparse with weeds only. Dangerous holes in the ground. Ants were everywhere in the area where grass was supposed to grow. Somewhat disappointed for KOA standards and certainly for the price I paid.

Everything was great, except the concrete pad for our fire pit was broken and out of place. Also the fire ring was not secured to the concrete and couldn't move around easily, posing a serious risk with the pad already sloped. I never brought this up to the camp staff, because there was nothing they could do, the pad needs to be replaced

Pretty disappointed in our stay. It seems like it goes downhill each time. Bathrooms were DISGUSTING. Thursday, I went into the ladies' room, and it was awful, toilets overflowing, horrible smell (even my 4-year-old said "mom this is gross" and refused to pee in there). My husband said the men's room was no different. Friday morning, he said the toilets were full to the top with sh*t.

I spent 5 nights w/you. The campground, laundry, & staff were all GREAT! Bathrooms/showers were HORRIBLE. I voiced my concerns to Fred, who took ABSOLUTELY NO responsibility! The staff should have been checking the facilities “as needed” by the sign @ the door. Over 4th of July weekend, especially w/one facility inoperable due to remodeling! I am a long time KOA customer & feel very disappoint

The campground was beautiful & well maintained, with plenty of amenities for adults, kids, & pets. The staff here are all outstanding! Super helpful and friendly, going above & beyond to make our stay incredible. Hands down, the best interaction with staff we have ever had, at any place we have ever stayed. By the time we left, KOA staff felt like family! We hope to see you all again next summer!

Extremely close sites. Fire ring was about 2 ft from our RV so we couldn't use it. Paid for deluxe patio site. Swing broken and not useable. Workers in the park extremely rude other than the woman that checked us in and the coffee cabin woman. Everyone else was so unfriendly or just rude

“Upgraded” sites were unlevel. The premium patio sites were quite unlevel and narrow. Water pressure was very low as well (35-40psi)

Our stay was fabulous!! Don in particular was so friendly and attentive, he really made our stay even more fantastic with his friendly mannerism and making sure we had everything we needed. Britnie in the store was incredible as well, super friendly when we checked in as well as store visits. And listening to the others in the store interact with guests, they were amazing as well.

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
