It was our first KOA stay as we just bought our first trailer! We had an amazing stay. So impressed with all the amenities! We had everything there we needed. Tiffany at the front desk was especially amazing, helpful and nice! All the people were great down to the gentleman that filled our propane tank. The only thing I’d wish for is a jacuzzi ��

What a GREAT KOA!! One of the best we have stayed at! (mostly) level parking spot, shaded!!! and not to small, and the park is just far enough outside of town to be remote, while close enough to be convenient. Their onsite kitchen created pretty decent food (we did diner our first night and skipped breakfast the next day - to get into Yellowstone earlier), and their ice-cream was delicious!

Excellent place if you have kids. There are lots of fun facilities that kids will love, from kart and bike rentals to a bouncy playground and an excellent pool. Quiet hours are strictly enforced and it’s like a switch gets flipped. Perfectly quiet after 9 pm or a little after that.

Loved that we could have RV and camp site close to each other and Cabin not too far. Showers were great. Laundry room saved us after a sick kid. Employees were SUPER!

Lovely campground. Fun playground for kids. Nice sites. Perfect location for entering Yellowstone. Very friendly staf. Swimmingpool to cold for us.

So dusty. The workers go too fast and traffic in general. 10 mph is too fast with all the children. The laundry room was filthy.

It was great we got in late and went to the office to add a night and she was extremely nice and got us another night booked and we didn't have to move spots

Unfortunately it was not the Park I remembered for years ago, the premium sites we not was I have experienced at other KOA's and were disappointing.

nice family friendly place. If I had a complaint it would be that the trees need to be limbed up. They drag on the roof and or sides of any bigger campers. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the site. The bathrooms by the dog park could use a deep cleaning and updating. The crows that where throughout the campground are quite annoying. But otherwise it was a pleasant stay and lots of fun.

the crows come out at 6 am and start their loud chattering that wakes everyone - they crap all over everything and are there all day. this campground has been taken over by crows Be weary there is a busy highway that runs past town campground, and that is the first assignment for a camper until you ask to not be assigned there; if it is near full someone needs to take these super noisy spots

I was very impressed with all the employee's employed at this KOA. The young lady that checked me in was very professional, the site escort helped guide me into my site and the maintenence staff who helped setup my TV made for a wonderful stay.

This is a great KOA in many ways: nice store, good amenities, WIFI that works, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a back in site along the road side of the park, and of course the road noise from 65 mph vehicles was loud More concerning is the danger if a car leaves the highway. There is no barrier, not even a low curb, and only a few yards separating the road from the camp sites. Scary!

Nice, large KOA. Bikes and peddle carts for fun in the campground. Large indoor pool with lots of kids when we were there. Friendly and helpful staff. Our site had sewer connections although we were only able to reserve one without. Close to West entrance to Yellowstone. Definitely would stay here again.

The rate was reasonable given the area and accommodation availability. The staff in the office was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had an end spot that was loud - especially for five nights, with all the traffic, carts going by, and people coming and going to the restroom. The ladies restroom was not very clean. Our spot was level with a nice picnic table, trees, and some grass.

Perfect place to stay outside of Yellowstone's West Gate. Nice set up, great base camp. Bathrooms need re-doing and wooden floor mats would go along way for comfort, too avoid stepping on muddy floors.Don't miss the BEST FUDGE EVER!!!! (made fresh in-house by their own staff candy maker). I think all KOA's should buy the six types of fudge made by this genius to sell at their stores.

Spaces are way too close. We were worried about the fire pits right next to our awning, so we never put it out. Noise from neighbors often went in part 10 pm. Bathrooms were not cleaned very well. Mornings and evenings showers were gross with hair all over. Staff were very friendly but not helpful with WiFi issues. We never had it the whole time we stayed.

There really wasn’t much to do at the campground, especially for older kids. A pond for fishing would be ideal since it’s in Montana.

This was our 3rd stay at the West Gate KOA. Check in was quick and smooth, hook ups were easily accessible. The new paw pen sites are a great addition for campers with dogs, I wish we had known they were an option when booking our stay. The playground was revamped since our last stay, lots of options for young kids, but the mini golf is gone, so it leaves very little for older teenage kids to do.

Site was very difficult to get my 40 foot 5th wheel in. We had any couple we were with hurt and phone to office said closed. Camp rules were not enforced. Condition of roads were poor for the price of $180.00 per night.

The park was great very clean and staff was wonderful. Campground is very close to Yellowstone west entrance. Playground and bounce pad are very cool the only negative I have is the pool gets pretty rowdy.

We only stayed one night, since I fell in the bathroom and broke my kneecap. I wasn't able to get in the camper some ended up staying in a local hotel. The KOA staff was WONDERFUL trying to get me in the backseat of our truck. Tiffany was the mastermind how to move me. Thank you all so very much. The campground is very wooded and nice. We plan revisit West Gate KOA Holiday. �

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.

Very clean, nice showers, clean bathrooms, very friendly staff!! Tent sites were very nice and spacious and the cabins were also very roomy and cozy!! Would definitely stay here again!!!
