Great facility and the new playground is great for kids. The deluxe cabin worked well for our family of 3 but dose need some sort of window fan to help cool it down in the summer months and the range is low enough power it struggled to boil a percolator of coffee. Otherwise is would have been a 5 star stay.

The cabins in the front are next to the highway and are very noisy and have bad air flow. The cabins out the back are much nicer. Shower block needs to be redone.

Despite having contacted the campground months before our trip, they failed to assign an RV site close to a cabin (family trip - half staying in RV, other half staying in cabin). When we talked with the staff about this, they were completely unwilling to find a solution and even went so far as to blame us. They then proceeded to talk amongst themselves about us. Very rude, unhelpful staff.

Booked cabin 07/24 Family of 5 By far the worst KOA I've ever stayed at Cabin dirty, spiders & smelt awful Mattresses were flat as pancakes Literally felt like lying on the logs the bed is made out of No AC/fan No screen to help air out cabin outlets were black like caught fire the community bathrooms are disgusting Store is WAY overpriced $12sm bundle of wood $5 bottle water NOT WORTH IT ��

The cabin we stayed in was not the best. The floor had a small slant to one end. The mattress pad was very very thin and due to fact that there was a bed rail on main bed made it very hard to get in and out of bed. Been staying at KOA for many years and prob most uncomfortable accommodation to date . Showers and bathroom were ok as well as store amenities.

We had a great time but price is somewhat prohibitive. Most of our timecwas spent outside of the campground so the price seems a little high in that case. It is a nice campground though.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Yellowstone West Gate KOA. We rented a Kamper Kabin, and my kids loved it so much, theynever want to tent camp again. It was clean, cozy, and we all loved the porch swing. The amenities were great too. It was fun having access to ice cream while camping as well.

This is the perfect location to the West Entrance of Yellowstone. The facility is well maintained and the bathrooms were kept decently clean for the amount of people staying at the campground. We received a friendly text from the staff every evening reminding the general store was closing. The pool is amazing! The mattresses in our cabin could have used an update. They were very thin.

For the first 2 nights of our stay we have no hot water in the showers close to the camping cabins. I know there was other showers in 2 other locations, but they had lines and pretty dirty in my opinion. I got feedback that do to the location of the KOA it was difficult to get needed parts? Also this Kampground was louder than any KOA I have ever stayed, no one was quiet after 10pm.

The majority of the cabins are too close to one another. Very difficult to have privacy. The staff was friendly and courteous. The bathrooms and showers were clean.

Beautiful location, very well maintained and managed. Lots to do. This was one of my best KOA experiences so far. My only complaint is the inability to leave the "Kabin" doors unlocked. It's very easy to lock yourself out when going to the restrooms, or even just out on the porch

The Deluxe cabin we rented was awesome. The amenities inside of it were great and so cute with the double swings on the porch plus grill. We had a little seating area and fire pit as well. The camp itself was fun and exciting. We had our dog with us and he was in absolute heaven. Only 10 minutes from the west gate entrance of yellowstone which we took advantage of.

Very little for kids to do, all facilities were very dirty, everything in their store was extremely over priced and our cabin was full of dirty diapers and garbage when we arrived at 7pm. The worst KOA we've ever visited. Won't be back.

Loved the activities for kids. Ice cream available in evenings was a fun treat with the grandkids. Suggestions include more electric outlets in cabins and training for morning coffee barista on how to make a good latte

Staff and campgrounds were wonderful. Only issue we had were the cabin mattresses were rock hard. Would stay here again. I would just bring an air mattress next time.

Campgrounds were beautiful, playground was fun, good was good and filling, coffee was hot. The showers were lukewarm, definitely could be hotter. Bathrooms needed a few more cleanings with hair but overall nice facilities. Staff was great.

This was my first-time camping at a KOA. The stafff was really nice and answered all my questions. They even came and checked on the outside grill we were using. And also brought fresh towels to our cabin.

The cabins, kitchen and bathrooms were clean but the prices were high and there was an infestation of squirrels under the cabins that really disrupted our stay- also the playground was under repair. We enjoyed our stay but those few things really impacted our stay.

The new layout of the store /office is open and welcoming. Children really enjoy the bounce pad; sand box; etc. When we had a question or problem, we were responded to. The staff was very friendly and took an interest in what we did on our vacation.

Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Friendly and very helpful staff. Pretty quiet considering how many campers are there. Clean bathroom facility. Bring mosquito spray, or if you forget they have some good spray available in the store. Great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone.

I enjoyed the stay...but our camping cabin- 246_smelled smoky. All of our belongings reeked of smoke even on our return home. There was not a flow of smoke into the cabin from outside. The cabin air was smoky smelling even when both door and windows were closed. I have stayed in cabins in the past, and this was not an issue.

Mattresses in the cabin were extremely thin and uncomfortable. Lots of smoke in the air from all the campfires triggered a sinus infection. Showers and bathrooms were dirty at times and mold was visible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool and amenities.

This is my 3rd stay there and it never disappoints. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean, and so are the restrooms. My grandkiddos enjoyed the indoor pool. It's only a hop, skip, and a jump to West Yellowstone and the National Park. I love this place and can't wait to come back!!

Loved the bigger kabins. But very disappointed in response to a complaint about spiders. ����. They promised to fumigate and we stayed away all day to allow them to do that. They failed to show. Might not want to stay there again because of that. Staff was friendly but maintenance person”Ed”, did not do as he promised about fumigating.

If the park is closed, West Yellowstone is a fun place to run around in. I-Max , Wolf habitat, live stage, and a BBQ place that is killer.

No electric vehicle / EV charging is allowed. Would be 5 stars except there is/was no mention anywhere that any kind of EV charging is prohibited due to an older electric infrastructure. It should be explicitly stated on the RV site descriptions or website. Other than that, everything including staff and location is excellent.

It wasn't too far from Yellowstone, and the facilities were generally good. There were enough shower facilities, and there was a simple area for doing dishes. The playground was well-maintained, so it was great for kids to run around and play. However, the swimming pool needs better water quality management, as it was quite dirty. I would strongly suggest that they improve the pool maintenance. The staff seemed to work hard, and overall, it was a decent place to stay.
