This was our second time staying at this KOA. We just love it there - the people are so kind and helpful. It is so close to the west entrance of Yellowstone and the amenities are awesome. We will be back for a third time in another couple of years. Highly recommend this KOA!!

Clean cabin, clean restrooms aside from all men's toilets near us clogged first am. Quiet location. Tight parking spots. Hard mattresses. Lovely grounds. Friendly staff. Kids activities. Indoor pool closed after labor day? Coffee shop closed too? Odd. Cute gift shop and shop with some food essentials, snacks, + RV hoses and fluids etc. Close to town and the park. Already recommended to a friend.

We stayed in dlx cabin.This KOA is corp owned. You’d think it would be top notch. Opposite is true. Really nice camp store. The cabin unfortunately was a major disappointment. Bed shoved into a corner, no shelving or hooks or tables. Dirty bathroom with disgusting shower curtain. Filthy kitchen & utensil bin. Just yuk. Make sure you find a family owned KOA for your stays. They’ve all been amaz

we had a good experience overall, but my mom slipped in the shower because the floor was so wet and slippery, and she fell and broke her arm. this was at 9pm and urgent care was not open until the next morning. it would be beneficial to have a first aid kit onsite with the night host or accessible to campers, as we had flown in so we could not bring our own.

Staff was very friendly & helpful with both location requests and recommendations for outside activities. Cabin had all the necessary items (towels, pots/pans, heaters, linens). Deluxe cabin was just a tad tight for a family of 4 but we were able to make-do.

The showers were the dirtiest we have come across on our travels. The bathroom counters were always full of liquid soap which was always leaking and dripping. The shower faucet was hard to pull out and turn on. The cabin door was only opening halfway at best making it difficult to carry luggage and cooler inside. The twin mattress needed replacing. Overall this koa is not up to koa standards

Cabin was dirty. Frig was dirty. Soap dispenser in bathroom had black dirt smeared all over it. Grill didn't work( we.reported it to staff twice but was never fixed). Lots of spiders inside cabin. Windowsills had lots of dead bugs).

The desk help was terrific. The tent cabin was awful. The door would lock outside. Inside, the bolt was usable. When we left, our door would fly open. The bed squawked. The pad was super old and we both still have back aches on our shoulders blades. Thanks for asking. We’ve stayed here about six times. Never felt this way before.

I expected more from KOA. The cabin floor was filthy and turned your socks brown, sheets were stained, pullout bed was rickety and squeaky, dishes were put away dirty and greasy, microwave had splattered food in it, the stove barely got hot enough to cook anything. For $300 a night, I expected things to at least be clean. Worry less about providing Keurigs and shower gel and clean up your act.

The people are very helpful, friendly, and eager to answer any question about places to see, and go. The KOA was very clean. The pet area was perfect. There were supplies there to clean up after your pet, a bench to sit and let them run. They would deliver your wood if you bought it. Cabin was clean, easy to get into. They gave us an extra key to put in the truck so we didn't lock ourselves out.

A big problem was the mattress. Oh my gosh, it was like laying on boards. I had to compensate by moving another mattress on top of my bed. Lay on it and you will understand. Also, on the funny side, how tall was the mirror installer?

Loved the cabin, mattress was not very comfortable. Bathrooms could use some more cleaning, especially the showers. On the upside, loved the hot water and the dishwashing/kitchen section. Laundry was great! Proximity to Yellowstone was good. We would definitely return in the future.

I enjoyed staying at the West Yellowstone KOA. The only problem is that the mattresses are razor thin, which makes for a difficult sleep. The staff were so nice and helpful and everything else was great.

I’d never stayed at a KOA in the past. We booked a cabin with electricity for three nights. My family’s experience was great! The cabin was clean. The space heaters kept us cozy in the cabin. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay again!

We were welcomed and provided with all the campground information and given their latest promotion. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. The store has many items available. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We plan to return in the future.

Our 4-day stay was very satisfactory. We occupied two of the small "log" cabins, as we have done before at this KOA campground. It should be realized that these cabins, while very nice, are small and quite spartan in their appointments. As well, they are spaced very closely together. Restrooms are conveniently located, and we found them to be clean, well-lit, and well-supplied.

My cabin was clean warm comfortable the grounds were kept up places very clean it made my camping experience in Yellowstone so much better. I will be coming back twice a year with my family for having love for Yellowstone and camping here.

This was first time staying in a cabin, they could use a little thicker mattress as bed werent very comfortable but it is a nice Cabin. People next door stole our firewood while we were in the park so we couldn’t have a campfire

I rented 2 cabins #210 & #211, #211 the floor was dirty, bathroom was not very clean, we cleaned the sink and shower with our own cleaner. Everything else was good. Service was good, when we needed anything people were prop to get it to you. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained, I would stay again.

Restrooms were always closed "for cleaning" (or working?), so the way to the others was more far. Even we recommended a shorts distance to the restrooms, we got a cabin far away �� There was a good water refill station at the reception. �

Prinzipiell ist es ein schöner KOA und sehr gut gelegen! Super freundliches Personal, schöne Lodges, großer Spielplatz und schöner Einkaufsladen! Nur die sanitären Anlagen fand ich nicht so toll. Besonders die Duschen und der Duschvorhang waren einfach schmutzig. Bei anderen KOAs ist dies nicht so!

Everything was great until my son scraped his head on the edge of the roof. The placement of the parking space, the picnic table, the walkway and then the darkness made for a somewhat dangerous experience. Perhaps a reflector or some type of indicator that there is a sharp corner in the pathway to the door would be helpful.

My two sons and I stayed in one of the basic cabins for three nights. I was pleasantly surprised how sound proof (when windows are closed) and insulated it was - I was worried it would get too hot with no a/c but it stayed very cool even during the hottest part of the day. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, we played in the pool and rented the bike cars- lots of fun!

Overall, wonderful! The amenities were great, esp for kids. Bathrooms/showers were some of the cleanest I've seen at a campground. Downside: 1) The air freshener/chemical used in the bathroom/shower building has an artifical cinnamon smell that is awful and made our eyes water. No one wants to be in nature and deal with that. 2) Cabin mattresses are about 3in thick and I couldn't sleep.

Stayed in cabin 140. Could use an upgrade/replacement with the padding on the double bed. Very uncomfortable and hard. Other than that, enjoyed my stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

If you upgrade to the cabins with bathroom and shower, do not assume they have double bunks like other cheaper cabins do. They have a very uncomfortable small pull-out bed. My 11 and 13 yo hated it. Otherwise we loved the views from 516, and Don was super friendly and helpful, he made our experience so much more enjoyable.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
